{3rd POV}

Doug was standing in front of the second portal, it showed a little school girl, but Doug remembered something different about her..

Like a past memory..

Maybe it's nothing, Doug walked through the portal but there was a red barrier in front of it, "Malak has blocked the entrance. I don't think he likes you very much." Bierce said, "I don't think he likes either of us.." Doug replied, "Go to the ring alter. I can unlock the power to boost your speed for brief periods of time" Bierce said, Doug then quickly left the hallway and stepped away from the portal. He headed to the ring alter, and then he looked down at his tablet, he saw the option to boost up the speed.

He noticed that he was able to improve it so he decided that he should improve the speed boost, "Use it wisely. And don't thank me, we'll work that out later." Bierce said, "Alright.." Doug replied but he was rather curious of how they're both going to work it out.. but neverminding that he headed back to the portal and he activated his speed boost and ran straight through the web, it had exploded. He went to the end of the hallway, Doug stumbled into what looked to be a school.

There was a way that was blocked with a web, "Don't you ever miss your school days? After all. It was the last time you were innocent..." Bierce said, Doug remembered back then he was a bit of a loner in school.

But could you blame him..? He was still being severely bullied in Elementary and even tho he had his best friend Evans, it was still shit, but thankfully the bullying stopped when he was in Middle School.. but he also met Elise through middle school, 'Now's not the time to remanence on my past..' Doug thought, he stood infront of the web barrier, "Another barrier. You know what to do." Bierce said, Doug activated his speed and ran through the web, he made his way in the hallway and took a sharp turn.

But then he stumbled into a different room that was like an assembly. He stopped when a little girl popped out of thin air, it startled him, so he jumped back a bit. The child had ravenunette hair, dark eyes, dark clothing, her hands were large claws. She looked creepy, but when Doug looked at her. He suddenly thought of his daughter Tammy, but he snapped out of them.

The child however was excited at the new visitor, her new friend, but she also felt something off with this one.. "Oooh! A new friend! I'm so excited! Welcome! I heard we might be getting a new student here soon. So I put this little welcoming party for ya! It's really nice to have someone to play with. Don't tell the others, but they've been getting pretty boring lately. But you'll spice things up around here won't cha? You can share everything with me! All your secrets, all your mistakes, all your pain... that's what beat friends are for right?". The girl asked then disappearing into thin air.

Doug simply stood there awkwardly as the school bell rung, "Looks like school is back in session.." Bierce said, "Who was that kid?" Doug asked.. she looked strangely familiar.. but Doug thinks that's because she reminds him of his daughter.. "That is Malak's daughter, Agatha." Bierce replied, "It seems she wants to play. Try not to let her catch you" Bierce said, Doug then stumbed through the doors. He made a sharp turn then activity his speed and broke another barrier that was in his way.

He began collecting the shards, "Ready or not. Here I come!" Agatha called out, 'I need to avoid the kid' Doug thought as he was aware that she had large claws. He began following the shards through his tablet but he saw one of the walls saying 'I will never sleep' he went into the bathroom and saw a Bierce file, he picked it up and left,but a little while later he found another file in another bathroom.

Doug thought that it was weird that Bierce has files of herself in here.. but he shouldn't really be paying attention to that for now.. but he ran through a classroom that had a chalkboard saying '1 + 1 = R.I.P' but he didn't pay attention to that.. he ran away when he heard Agatha close by.

He passed a pair of doors. Doug could hear Agatha giggling and coming near, "I can hear you!" Doug made a few of sharp turns, as he could hear her approaching close. He passed by a classroom that had a fim projecting playing. It was showing an image of a pair of gravestones.

There was one that didn't have a name, which was sad.. "An unmarked grave. It must be hers" Bierce said, Doug felt a little bad, Doug made his way to more hallways, and after another hour or so of searching for shards. There was none, it made Doug a bit dumbfounded, but he felt like he was missing something so he explored a bit more and he found a secret closet.. there was another file there, he picked it up, "That's all of the shards here. But it's only half." Bierce said, "The ring barrier is still active. There must be more in another part of the school. Hurry and find the next zone." Bierce continued, Doug then quickly began bolting out of there.

He headed pass a pair of doors and found the ring barrier. He then went to the doors behind it and when he walked through, he noticed someone that was above. A suited man with horns, he looked eeire and was staring down at Doug, which was creepy as hell, but Doug stared back at him, "Is this the guy Malak?' Doug thought, he suddenly disappeared once he reached the other side. Doug was a bit dumbfounded but quickly moved on. He headed past the doors.

He was about to activate his speed once he saw the ring barrier but stopped when Agatha appeared in front of him.. "Aww you took all my friends! Well it's been a while since I got to play with anyone this long but I can't play around with you anymore. Now, I'll show you what I can really do..." Agatha said before then disappearing.

Doug stood there confused, 'What the hell does she mean by that?' Doug thought, he broke through the barrier web with the speed boost. He then started to collect the shards, the hallways appeared to be a bit different. There was figures behind the glass slamming against it and hitting it in a panic. There was also fire in some hallways. There was drawings on the wall and even looked a bit dirty, "How creative. It's her victims, the school has become her dollhouse." Bierce said, "Ready or not! Here I come!" Agatha said, Doug simply began to follow the shards in the table.

Doug was keeping cautions of Agatha's presence as he took sharp turns. He saw a strange entrance and he opened it, and on the walls it read, 'You couldn't have know' and 'It's not your fault'

There was a whiteboard showing a mother and a daughter in a car, the mom was dead while the girl was crying, but there stood a guy, he looked confused but he was also crying and he was called 'Daddy' but nevermind that, Doug quickly ran away but he found another one of E's notes.

The note read, 'Bierce's portals are not the only way to move between realms. In the hotel, I found a relic imbued with the demon's power. It's whispered its location to me. I'm not sure why it was there, but as long as I have it, I won't need the ring piece. I could never get past the creatures who guard them anyway. Who would be suicidal enough to even try?' I guess I am welp.. there's nothing I can do about that..

But for some reason, Doug feels safe in here, 'The relic is not powerful, but it allows me to walk through the shadows like he does. However, it only takes me to places where he has been. I try to keep my distance from him when he appears. If he discovers me, my fate will be sealed, now his path has led me to some sort of school. At least it looks like one, it's not like the hotel. It's much worse, I sense there is only one voice here and it is terrifying. Her appearance is that of a child, but that is no child. It didn't take me long to discover that I could see her. She purposely let me look deeper.' Doug wonders what she saw.?

Doug hopes that she was okay tho.. 'I wish that I had not, because what I saw was unbearable. Sometimes, something so horrible happens to a child that their soul becomes corrupted by rage & sadness. When that happens, an evil child spirit is born from that suffering. This one's name is Agatha. The pain & suffering of children is a pain that she is forever tied to. She knew what my reaction would be. She is feeding on it. She is toying with me.. but I can hear some sadness in her voice, I've seen many drawings of a blue demon.. but I've never encountered him.. although in the drawings that Agatha made he looked to he friendly but that is all I can write for now as I can hear her coming... -E' Doug doesn't know if he should feel a little bad for the demon child or not..

He left that area and he reached a classroom and was about to bolt out but then Agatha teleported behind him, "Found ya!" She yelled, Doug then quickly activated the speed boost and tried to get far from the child. Agatha giggled as she began to follow her new friend although in her opinion he's a bit mean. He kept on taking sharp turns and Agatha kept up the teleporting. He sometimes lost her and sometimes she teleported in front of him.

But he found a poster of her face, he went up towards it and it showed Agatha with her arms stretched around the entire room, above Agatha it read 'Home Sweet Home' Doug went inside and he saw a well on the left, he was a little confused but then he remembered the unmarked grave, 'Is that how she died..?' Doug thought a little bad for the demon but neverminding that he quickly left and he nearly collected half of the shards, and after a bit, there was a few remaining, Doug had just lost Agatha again thankfully..

She didn't know where he was now, "Where are you?" She asked, Doug then collected the last shard, and then he found another bathroom with another file.. how many files had he collected already..? "That's the last of the shards. Now get to the ring piece. Before Agatha gets you!" Bierce said, Doug then quickly attempted to get back to the statue of the ring barrier. He could hear Agatha stomping her way around, "You'll never get the ring! I won't let you!" She said, but Doug had already reached the doors. He ran through and quickly snatched the ring piece from the barrier and when he headed to the doors.

They shut tight before he went through. The brunette suited man turned and saw the little girl standing on the other side, "I welcomed you here and I tried so hard to be nice to you!" Agatha yelled, "But you don't care! You don't want to be my friend. You just want to steal my things! You're a mean..." Agatha then muttered something under her breath, "Bad person!" She shouted, fisting her clawed hands in frustration, but then she spoke in a quieter tone, "Now you're in big trouble. You made Daddy mad too..." Agatha said before then teleporting away.

The doors then opened, the same demon man from before, with the horns and dark eyes stood there, "End of the road mortal." Malak said, "I won't let you leave... give that back to me!" Malak yelled, then he transformed into a black mist. He was suddenly floating and began to charge towards Doug, 'Shit! I need to get out of here!' Doug thought, he quickly turned the other way and dashed through the hallways. He could hear Agatha in the hallways, there was some fake portals in the hallways that looked drawn on.

Doug went pass them, and they made a ticking sound and then it exploded, "Hand it over and I'll make your death quick!" Malak yelled, "Like hell I'll allow that!" Doug yelled, "Move faster! Malak's here!" Bierce yelled, Doug then quickly activated his speed boost. He could hear Malak laughing and Agatha giggling in a creepy evil way, which was honestly terrifying, "Try to run! It won't do you any good!" Agatha said, she suddenly teleported behind Doug. He quickly dashed away using his speed boost before Agatha could claw him on his back, she growled in anger.

Doug made a couple of sharp turns, bolting through doors before reaching the assembly room. The doors then shut locked, he was unable to leave, "Going somewhere?" Agatha asked, she teleported away somewhere, 'Dammit! I'm trapped!' Doug thought, he turned to see Agatha standing on the stage, "You! You'll never escape! I won't let you take my friends from me!" Agatha said, "Sorry kid, but I have to do this." Doug said, that resulted for Agatha to get more angrier.

She ran towards Doug but he managed to doged out of the way, she chased him around and then the doors suddenly opened, "It's open!" Bierce yelled, "Bierce! Stay out of my room!" Agatha screamed, Doug activated his speed boost, making sharp turns while he dashed through the hallways. After a couple more turns, he finally found the portal. He could hear Agatha scream in anger as he stepped through. He stumbled into the ballroom. He fell onto his knees clumsily, 'She was almost the same age.. Memories betray me here...' Doug thought, Agatha had suddenly reminded him- he was quickly snapped out of his thinking by a voice, "Doug." Bierce called out to the male..

The brunette hair man looked up at the white haired woman, "The ring piece. To the ring alter." She commanded, Doug got up and quickly gave the ring to the barrier but he was still lost in his thoughts as he was suddenly reminded of Tammy, 'I need to keep going. I just need to survive a bit longer..' Doug thought, "I see you're thinking about her." Bierce called out as she already guessed what was on Doug's mind, "Huh?" Doug said, "You know who I'm talking about." She said, there was a pause. Doug looked away in shame.

He misses his daughter.. a whole lot.. "Don't be upset. You'll be able to fix your mistakes. You just need to hang on a little bit more." Bierce said, Doug stood up to his feet, although he was still sad about his daughter, "Two down, seven more to go, want to try for another?" Bierce said then a portal exploded next to the second one Doug stepped towards it.
