Chapter seven: A white lie

"My son!" He rode to him, in a dramatic attitude, "what are you doing here?" He asked David, who turns his eyes to look at me, "mummy!".

My eyes veered heeding to his voice, "yes son!" I wore a fake smile, idling to hear his reply.

David swiveled to his dad, before paying back his scrutiny to me, "why are you fighting with dad?". He asked prodding to hear my reply.

I caught a glimpse of Anderson who shook his head against it, I speculate he didn't want me to tell his son the truth, and neither was I going to, I reckon it was best I lied to him. " my love, I wasn't quarreling with your dad, you misread it, okay baby!!".  I blab out a lie, and hoped he bought it, "oh really mom!" He ran an uncertain glare at me and for a boy of his age, he sure was smart, like a lot smart.

"Yes baby, why don't you give me a kiss, and I'll come read to you a bedtime story" I answered back as he pins a kiss on my lips, ambling out of the room, "that was nice of you". Anderson let out the minute he walked away. , " aww!! Don't get used to it". I shoved my way out, leaving him behind..

"Drama queen!!" He muttered in a  shuddering breathe.

Abruptly with everything going on here, I forgot why I came, and I know it's been only a day, I need not wait any time to find a way to get back at them who was responsible for my death.

"Are you sure?" My conscience alters to me,  immediately I froze to a spot, rethinking my decision. "Why don't you wait for a day, you can always start tomorrow?" It asserted out to me for a second time.

I veered my back, when a voice lets out behind, "hello Elena!!".  I turned back to see a lady standing in front of me with a huge smile on, "who are you?" I asked decerning we haven't met, but before she could answer, Anderson, let out from behind, "baby! Do you not remember your best friend, Sophia drew" he conceded, hurling me close to him. "Aww, am so jealous" Sophia ran a cute look on us

, "please don't be sweetheart" I swerved to Anderson, giggling out my words.

"Oh okay, how about we both go out and have the whole day to ourselves " Sophia yanked me by my hands before I could retreat my words.

10:50pm

After spending a whole day with her, I returned home exhausted, heaving the door to my room open. I dropped to the bed, falling on Anderson, who jerked me off in a scared demeanor, "who's there?" He switched on the light, Just to see my face on the floor. "Oh, it's you".

He carried me up just to see I had  fallen asleep even after being tossed off the bed in an arduous way, It was how exhausted I was, "drama queen" he smirked,  tucking me in bed, as he laid down beside me.

I snuggled up, enjoying the calmness around me, for a while, I felt peace, my soul was at peace minus the turmoil in my life when I felt a hand run through my skin, "I love you, Sonia!". .

My lips shape up smiling heeding to a masculine voice, "hmm!" I hummed softly weaving my eyes open.
