Chapter five: confrontation

"Huh!" I ran out of words, as she pulls me further away from the gate, "I know we haven't met but I believe you took something that is mine".

The strange woman says to me, but my brain was norm at the moment, I could not think of anything, so with the frightened look on, she decides to introduce herself to me, " Hi, my name is Elena and I believe you have met my husband Anderson and my son, David"..

I instantly nodded my head the minute her introduction was made, thus finally get to meet the lady whom I took control of her body.

"Hello, how are you?".  I asked even though it was a ridiculous question to ask, but it was the first thing my head could think of. Elena smiled at me, decerning how stiff I was talking with her, " calm down Sonia!! I am not here to quarrel with you, minus the fact, you took over my body without permission!".

Surprisingly for some reason, she wasn't angry with me, minus the fact I did take control over her body without permission, and if there was a law governing that in the spirit world, I would be going to jail. " Elena, I am sorry for doing such" I apologize for that, as her eyes gazed at me without blinking, "but, I needed a new body to return to the world, I believe my death wasn't normal and my husband is having an affair with my best friend".

I tapered down everything to her, still, she (Elena) watches me without altering a word out. " Elena?" I nudged her back seeing the way she mostly gazed at me.

"I am sorry, I zoomed out for a while, you were saying!" She turns back to me asking for the same explanation I just made a few minutes ago.

"Did you not pay heed to every word I said?" I ran an unusual glance at her, as she veers her back at me, "something is wrong!" The way, she behaved urge me to ask, "Elena, is everything alright!" spinning her back to me.

She shivers to heed to my question, and I need no suit sayer to tell me that something was certainly wrong, "please talk to me Elena" I pleaded with her, eventually getting her to say the validity to me, She says " my death also wasn't ordinary as well, I was poisoned".

"Wha! What?"I shuddered out my words in a shocking posture, as she goes on talking, " Anderson, got into a shady deal with some couple of bad people and when he got to find out they weren't genuine, he tries to cut off the business deal he made with them, but neither did he know, I would be poisoned on the day of my birthday!!".

Brutal" I could not believe my ears, yet there was something I couldn't wrap my head around, "but you aren't dead right?" I asked, instantly smudging a smirks on her lips, "am I?" She weaves out a sarcastic response to me.

"I don't know, that's why am asking?" I answered back in a cold and distant tone, as she veered her eyes to the side, before returning it to me, " I am not dead, neither can I return to my body!!".

"I don't think, I understand you! what are you saying, if you ain't dead why don't you want to return to your body?" I knitted a troubled look at her.

My question appeared to be amusing, as she let out chuckling at me.
