Once everyone was changed, they left to go to the village, Rachel and Vincent took the girls in their car Sebastian and Ciel took Sebastian's car. Vincent parked up and said "now girls, some rules this is to keep you safe" Rachel nodded saying "yes, we want you to be where one or both of us can see you at all times if you want to look at something tell us if you don't do either then you'll have to hold mine or Vincent's hand until further notice" Amalia and Sumire nodded. Amalia said "ok nanna, dad tells me that when we go somewhere crowded" "yes we might know everyone here who lives here, but around this time of year we get strangers visiting to see family or for the Christmas market and things so we don't know what they'd do"

Rachel said "exactly, we want you girls safe but if you should get lost on accident you go to a nearby shop and tell them what happened and our names, they'll find us and let us know" again the girls nodded. then everyone got out Amalia had her coat on and snow boots as well as her scarf, which had Marie from the Aristocats on, her gloves had little foxes and her hat looked like a cat. Sumire had her coat on as well her scarf had little squirrels on it, and her gloves like Amalia's with little foxes on and hers had was a fox instead of a cat "now do either of you want to hold one of our hands?" Vincent asked Amalia said "no I'm ok" Sumire shook her head to say no.

Amalia saw she had Miki and Sei "do you want to leave one here?" Sumire shook her head holing them closer to her "ok I don't want you to lose them, since there special like kitty is for me um" she looked for an idea then got one. "Why don't you put them in your bag, that way there safe and you don't lose them," Rachel noticed she knelt and nodded saying "that's right, and a very good idea Amalia, we wouldn't want them lost" "can I still hold one?" Sumire asked Rachel said, "of course you can, now who do you want to hold?" "Sei" Rachel nodded and carefully put Miki in Sumire's bag and said "there we go he's all safe and sound now" after they walked around people would say hello to Rachel and Vincent.

In the village square, a market was set up and a fairground was being set up, Vincent said: "The Christmas fair is being set up when its set up how about we go with everyone?" Amalia said "yeah!" Rachel chuckled "do you want to come Sumire?" she asked. Sumire looked at Rachel and nodded they walked around the market, Amalia was looking for a present for Sebastian but didn't see anything she pouted "what's wrong?" Sumire asked Amalia looked and said "I want to find a present for my dad, but I can't find something that's just right" Rachel and Vincent watched this "seems she's opening up" "yes it does, and Amalia is helping her even if it's a little but I think there already becoming good friends" "true, they are and Amalia gives her just that little push she needs, now I take it you will be taking them to the shop Vincent" he chuckled and said "of course an early present won't hurt them" Rachel shook her head.

Soon the group of four were going to a cafe that did different crafts, they went in the worker said "welcome, are you just having a drink or doing a craft?" "both," the worker said "alright then, find an empty table there's a menu with what crafts we do, there all Christmas themed ones" they soon found a table. Amalia looked at what there was "why don't you make your dad something Amalia" she looked at Vincent and nodded. "What do you want to do Sumire?" Rachel asked Sumire said "don't know" "its ok, take your time and look at what there is" Rachel rubbed her head.

Soon the girls decided what to do, while the worker went to get the things needed Rachel ordered the girls a drink. they'd be brought over the girls were given an apron to wear "do you want me to keep hold of sei and Miki so they don't get dirty?" Vincent asked which Sumire nodded since she didn't want them to get paint on them. Vincent put her bag on his lap along with sei, Rachel sat down and said "they'll bring the drinks over" Vincent nodded. the worker put some paints down some paints had a mix of glitter in them, as well as two cups of water and two paintbrushes and what the girls were going to do. Sumire's was an ornament there was patterns she could follow if she wanted, if not she was free to paint it as she wanted to.

Amalia had a cat statue with a Santa hat on, she was going to do her best to paint it good she had a pencil to draw outlines if she wanted like Sumire had one too. Rachel and Vincent watched them Vincent felt a small tug. he looked at Sumire "yes Sumire?" "Help please," he said, "what is it you need help with?" "fox," he said "alright then" he drew her a simple fox, the best he could it looked like a cat with a foxtail he then let her paint it. Amalia painted her statue black with a white chest and white front paws, but put a purple circle on the left paw she then added red eyes.

Once the statue and ornament were done they were put up to dry, the stuff tided away and hands washed the server brought their drinks over. two freak hot chocolates a new thing they had for the holidays, it was a hot chocolate but made like a freak shake it had cream, cookies, Oreos, more cream which was also toasted and a cherry on top. Amalia took her cherry off she wasn't for them, Sumire saw and took one of her chocolate chip cookies and tapped Amalia, who looked "swap" Amalia said "the cherry?" Sumire nodded and did a swap.

Rachel had put both girls cookies and extras on a plate for them to eat them when they wanted, Vincent put Sumire's bag and sei on the chair next to her while the girls had their drinks and cookies. Vincent and Rachel talked to each other "it seems they're enjoying today so far" Vincent nodded saying "yes, it seems Amalia being here is helping Sumire become more comfortable, I think she's been a little lonely" Rachel nodded "yes and her birthday is close to, so it gives us something else to focus on I was thinking of asking Sebastian to make the cake" "I think that's a good idea, Rachel, he has a talent for it and Ciel says his sweets are the best there are and I don't think hell mind" they nodded.

Amalia said "do you want to help me make Christmas cards for everyone Sumire?" she looked and nodded, Amalia said "we can do it tomorrow and give them every one" Sumire nodded again. soon the girls ate their cookies and drank their hot chocolate they were full, Rachel got their figure and ornament and put them in her bag for safekeeping, they then left Sumire was now holding Amalia's hand as they walked. "Now girls before we look around some more, I need to make a quick stop" they looked he smiled. they soon came to a very old shop he went in Amalia gasped and said "your toy shop!" Rachel said, "yes, Vincent has to check on something here, why don't you two look around?" Amalia nodded taking Sumire to look around. while they were Rachel said, "I thought the new design was for Christmas?" "It is, this is another one and one for Sumire too, the progress in just a day is amazing with Amalia it's like she's stuck to her like glue"

Rachel nodded and said "I know, it's doing her so much good and they both had someone their own age to talk and play with, and can talk about their own things that we wouldn't understand, but this time she felt comfortable enough not to bring Pluto, which is amazing" Vincent nodded saying "oh it definitely is, but I feel for the Christmas party well do and the Christmas party the village hosts she will have him with her, which I can't blame her" Rachel nodded. Sumire was amazed at the toys especially the bitter rabbit, Amalia said "grandpa designs all these, uncle Ciel helps but grandpas office has all the bitter rabbits ever made there even the very first one"

"Really?!" Sumire asked Amalia nodded and said "yeah, but the really old ones can't be touched or played with, there um what's the word oh an antique! and might get damaged if played with even gently, the only time grandpa says they get moved is when there sent off to a toy hospital for cleaning and care" "what's a toy hospital?" Sumire asked. she'd never heard of one "it's a hospital for toys that are broken or have a bad injury, the people who work there are like doctors and nurses for the toys and make them better, and repair them like how doctors make someone better if there sick" Sumire nodded now understanding what she meant now.

About 10 minutes later Vincent called them over, and when they got there he said "now I know Christmas is 2 weeks away, and you're not really meant to get presents until then or your birthday if it's in December, but since you have both been very good today listening to me and Rachel, we decided that you are allowed this" he knelt and pulled two bitter rabbits from behind his back. Amalia gasped and took hers and said "thank you grandpa nanna!" she hugged it. Sumire hesitantly went over "its ok Sumire, it's yours you can take them there just for you," Vincent told her. she carefully took it and said "th-thank you" Vincent smiled at this, and said "you are very welcome"

Amalia had a big smile on her face, Sumire had a smile to both rabbits were Christmas themed. they had a red Santa cape on with a fur trim and Santa hat, the rest of the day it was exploring the village and doing fun things. not before heading back for dinner and to tell the others what they'd done today.
