Hannah looked at Claude "ok what the hell was that about!?" she was confused at Sebastian's reaction. she knew they didn't get along too well, had a competition of outdoing each other, but still, Claude sat down and said "to put it simply, I likely offended him in high school it was unintentional, but he may not have seen it that way it's all I can think of" he knew his teasing and such at one point went too far. "Well, Claude when he's calm down go and talk and sort this out, from how you talked about him to me you like him and that day out you had with his family" he nodded.

Outside Sebastian sat looking at the stars trying to calm down "Hey Sebastian! you ok mate?" Bard called out to him. Sebastian nodded Agni sat with him and said "Sebastian, if you want to talk, we will listen, you are our friend what happened with that man?" Meyrin said "from what I remember, Claude was a kind of bully almost to Sebastian" Bard nodded. Sebastian said "what Meyrin is saying is true, but he also saw himself as my rival anything I did he had to try and outdo" "let's not forget the teasing, he did and that prank" Agni looked at Bard "what prank?" he asked Bard "oh that was before you came to the school Agni," Sebastian said "for a few days, I'd been getting these notes saying someone liked me at that time I was serious with my girlfriend at the time, Amalia's mother I ignored them but Faustus decided to leave one, Ciel happened to see and told me and from that, we got into a fight" Meyrin nodded and said "yeah, but luckily no one was hurt but it made Sebastian hate Claude even more for the fact he thought it was funny"

Claude and Hannah happened to have heard "Claude we need to sort this out, that's not what you wanted to do at all," he said "I know and it's best we do that Hannah" she nodded they went over. Claude cleared his throat "go away you two" Hannah said "Sebastian hear him out" he stood up "hear him out! after the stunt he pulled all those years ago, he does realise at the time my so-called father could have learnt before I was ready, he had people in the school who reported every single thing I did back to him" "Sebastian I never intended that" he turned glaring at him and said "never intended? you saw it as the day you came to continue to try and one-up me do everything, better than me to you every single thing was a competition" Hannah and Claude looked at each other, that was not the case. "Sebastian, you have this wrong" Hannah told him "Sebastian maybe you should hear him out, perhaps it is a misunderstanding," Agni told him he was trying to keep the peace.

Hannah said "Sebastian listen to him just hear him out, if after you don't want to bother ever speaking or seeing Claude again then you don't have to" Claude nodded and said "just hear me out" Sebastian didn't want to but agreed. "Go on then Faustus explain," he said it with a lot of venom but no one could blame Sebastian as he had a lot of hate for Claude at the moment. "look those notes were not a prank, I did like you and me being better than you was not what I had actually intended in school, but rather to be equal and get you to notice me, when I transferred to the school you were basically the top student and I was impressed, so I wanted to get your attention me doing better than you in things just happened" "Sebastian Claude liked you, he had a crush on you he didn't know you and your girlfriend where together, so he wrote you those notes to try and tell you and the teasing it was to get you to speak to him, give him attention to get to know you"

Sebastian was sceptical "now I think about it, they say sometimes boys tease girls they like but, in this case, Claude teased the boy he liked," Meyrin told them. Agni said "Sebastian I can see no lies, their eyes show no lies they are very honest, perhaps it was actually a misunderstanding on both parts since Claude would not know about your home situation, and you misinterpreting his actions as cruel when they were not meant to be that," Claude said "yes, that's exactly what happened I didn't know what your home life was like if I did I would not have done that everyone deserves to tell their families about their sexuality if not straight when they are ready" Hannah walked over made them hold hands. "Now you shake and makeup!" she smiled "Hannah do you honestly think it can be fixed so easily?" Sebastian looked at her. Hannah said "yes, since this was a complete misunderstanding, all Claude wanted was your attention, he had a crush on you from the moment he saw you," Claude said "Sebastian I am genuinely sorry, I had no idea what I was doing was causing all this misunderstanding, so please forgive me or let me try to make it up to you"

Sebastian said, "who's to say I will ever forgive you?" Sebastian raised an eyebrow "and I know that may happen, where you never forgive me but I can try that's all I can do" Sebastian said "fine you can try" Hannah said "best we can do, now back inside we go and time for drinking games!" she pulled the two in and went to a quiet table so no one would bother them, they were left alone to talk Sebastian said "I don't ever remember seeing you around school, or in any of my classes" Claude said "well I was Hannah dragged me here, saying she had someone I should meet" Sebastian rolled his eyes. "And this happened," Claude said "I understand, though you're the most popular guy in the school even now you are every girl wants you, every guy wants to be you and those who are gay want to be with you, look I meant what I said I never meant to make you think that"

Sebastian said "yes I know it too well and you did" "what do you mean?" Sebastian ordered 2 beers he figured he might as well drink. Claude did seem sorry for it but it was so hard to let go of a grudge you've held for years, but the time he's spent with him when he didn't know Claude was that, Claude. he was slowly realising he was falling for him but now he didn't know how to feel. "The redhead, he's been stalking me since I was 11 wanting to bear my children, he wants to be my boyfriend I've said no luckily when he's got brown hair much calmer and I can stand him, but when he's a redhead barely," Claude said "I see" "I do all I can to avoid him, and thus far have been successful and Amalia doesn't like him she's scared to a degree of him when he's got red hair" Claude took the beer. he hoped he could make it up to Sebastian for the misunderstanding, but knew he may never.

"Why is he obsessed with you?" Claude asked. Sebastian said "who knows, but he continues to stalk me saying how he wants to be Amalia's mother, which won't happen she has one mother and no woman will ever take that place, if anyone did it would be Ciel's mother" Claude nodded "I can understand that, Ciel's mother is a mother figure" Sebastian nodded. "Yes exactly" Hannah, Bard, Meyrin and Agni watched "at least there's no shouting," Agni said the others nodded. Hannah said "you know, they'll end up together" Meyrin looked at her. Hannah said "it's obvious, Sebastian just needs a little time to get passed his hate, from what Claude said about their day out he's falling hard for Sebastian, as in more than a crush," Meyrin said "maybe"

Back at the table, Claude said "where is Amalia anyway? I swear someone said kids were welcome unless I misheard" Sebastian said "with her godfather and his boyfriend, I feel guilty but heck she loves Ciel and the devil child Alois, also Ciel's parents will be there so I don't have to worry plus her new friend so she's likely having fun" Claude said "Alois, you don't mean Alois Trancy?" Sebastian said "yes you know him?" Claude said "very well, now I know who he means when he says about a little princess, your daughter how often dose Ciel see Amalia?" Sebastian said, "only when he's visiting from college, he sometimes brings Alois, Ciel's a huge help even Alois, though immature and a prat at times he's well useful for entertaining Amalia, they seem to have the same IQ level thought Amalia can easily outsmart him, so maybe she's the smarter than him he's what 19 and she's 7, so how do you know Alois then?" Claude laughed and said "I can't argue there with Alois, I've known him for a while he's actually my adopted younger brother my parents let him keep his last name" "I see, he's mad head over heels he even made himself get held back so he could be in Ciel's class, apparently he's liked Ciel since he started high school, he always hung around Hannah and well Ciel with me since"

Claude said, "yeah so any pets?" "a cat midnight, I've had since Amalia was a baby he's old and others are strays that come and go, as well as a few kittens that stay until old enough you so I guess I can say I foster cats to" "for me, a few birds a yellow cannery though people think I keep a spider, they say I'm more that kind of person than one who keeps birds" "you kind of do look like one" "Sebastian you really are straight" Sebastian looked at him raising an eyebrow. "where'd that come from?" Claude said "I mean as in when you talk, your straight to the point" Sebastian nodded understanding what he meant now. "I see no point in beating around the bush, you have to be honest and sometimes it might be not what you want to hear, but you have to hear it" Claude nodded agreeing.

Claude said "I've enjoyed talking to you Sebastian, I wish things had of been different but when you walked in, I didn't recognise you, also I had this feeling I knew you but couldn't place it" Sebastian chuckled. "me too, it makes a change from Ciel and my friends, look this is not going to fix its self-overnight" Claude nodded "I know it won't, but I think where the same age" "22 well just turned 23 recently" "well just turned 24, but yeah" "you're a doctor a registered GP and yet your my age, how the hell the youngest ones I've seen are 25 so you're not far off that by a year," Claude said "I finished early at med school and was asked by the woman who ran the villages practice if for the holidays I could cover, so I saw no reason why I shouldn't since I'm in the area for the holidays" Sebastian nodded.

Sebastian put his beer down he looked at his phone and said "I'm gonna check on Amalia, plus I need some air doing shots with Hannah is murder I haven't done this amount of drinking for a few years" Claude said "alright and I understand" Sebastian nodded and went out and phoned Ciel. "hello" Sebastian said, "hey Ciel its Sebastian, how's everything?" "Good just having dinner pizza" "ok how's Amalia been good I hope?" "Yeah, she's good, has been the entire time she and Sumire just watched the fox they found and then gave Alois a makeover, so wanna speak to her?" "No just checking it's the first time I've had a breather for myself, and the first time I've left her this long" Sebastian leaned against the railing. he didn't have many nights out now, this was the first in many years.

Ciel said, "don't worry, we ordered pizza now were watching the animated how the grinch stole Christmas, but it sounds lively run into Faustus?" Sebastian nodded "yeah I did, we talked I'll explain later about it" it was then Grell ran over to Sebastian. "It is, go away Grell buzz off!" "The drag queen?" Ciel asked Sebastian moved to the side and let Grell fall. "Buzz off!" Sebastian hissed as he moved the phone away from his ear. "Piss off! and go annoy someone else like William," Grell said "awe Bassy, you want me! I know you do" Sebastian said "you're pissed, get back in there" Sebastian turned Grell around and kicked him in the middle of his back, and kicked him back in he sent him flying he smirked.

"Sebastian?" Ciel said wondering if Sebastian was there. Sebastian put the phone back by his ear and said "I'm here, just had to kick him away" Ciel laughed imagining what he'd do. "Yeah, I've been the but of jokes and such, like if I gave my daughter up and things" "seriously?" Ciel couldn't believe that at all. Sebastian said "yeah thanks for this Ciel, anyway I've really got to go see ya tomorrow tell Amalia night and I love her" Sebastian hung up. "Hey Sebastian" he looked to see Claude "how come you're here?" he asked "you were taking a while, so I came to see what you were doing" "oh just checking on Amalia that's all, she's good seems Alois is at her and Sumire's mercy" Claude chuckled "so Hannah was telling me you can drink, how much can you handle?" Sebastian said "a lot before Amalia, well I could party all weekend from when school finished on Friday until the time school started on Monday, go in not look drunk and do the day completely fine, it was mostly to rebel against my birth father" Claude whistled. "Impressive, but you've not done it for 7 years" Sebastian looked at him "are you challenging me Faustus?" "Maybe, how much you had Michaelis?" Sebastian said "started on beer when I came, I've eaten had a few beers one shot and I'm still not drunk"

Claude nodded "you've had a head start and paced yourself, so what's Hannah gave you?" Sebastian said "tequila shot and I've just had a few beers that's it" "now let's see how much you can handle, also how are you getting home?" Sebastian stood up. "I got a room here since I didn't want to wake everyone up going back" Claude nodded "that's understandable, so let's go wanna make a wager?" "What kind?" Sebastian asked "loser does what the winner says, and we can say it puts what happened behind us" "interesting very well, so what will you have me do if I lose?" Sebastian asked Claude smirked, "that is a secret, so you up for it?" "Yeah, we need a ref," Claude thought "Hannah, she can keep up with us" "yes she's at the bar lets go, but also I suggest Agni in case she joins in Agni does not drink so he can be the second one" Claude nodded. they went back in Hannah saw them she went over "where did you two go to?" Sebastian said "I called to check on my daughter" "Hannah, we need you to be a judge," Claude told her. Hannah raised an eyebrow "judge what exactly?" Claude said "drinking contest between us"

Hannah said "ok but I get the drinks, so it's to see who can drink who under the table" she wanted to make sure she had the right idea of the competition they wanted. Sebastian nodded saying "that's pretty much it, also Agni is the second judge as he doesn't drink" Hannah nodded "god it takes me back!" she smiled at this. Claude looked at her "what do you mean Hannah?" "When we used to go out, Sebastian would let people challenge him and he would always win and make a killing" Claude looked. Sebastian said "me and whoever challenged me, would bet some money winner got the money and loser well the challenger would be passed out, any time I saw Hannah at a club or bar shed be the judge I would give her some money or buy her a drink as thanks that was it"

Hannah said "yeah people would say Sebastian cheated by having non-alcoholic drinks, just to make it fair he let them pick the drinks and even then, they'd lose" Claude was surprised but also amazed at this. "he's had a head start so well go easy so I can catch up" "don't go easy unless you're afraid to lose Faustus" Sebastian glared at Claude. he had only had one or two beers and one shot hardly a head start "in your dreams Michaelis" Claude glared back at him. Hannah went to get the drinks Sebastian and Claude sat down across from each other "what's going on?" Bard asked Hannah looked at him. "Oh, they're having a drinking contest, Sebastian wants your friend Agni to be a judge with me" "bard choked on his drink and said "can he keep up with Sebastian!?" hed seen Sebastian do a drinking contest before. Hannah nodded "he can," he told Meyrin she said, "is he stupid?" "Apparently she said he can hold his alcohol, let's watch" they went over "how do these games work?" Agni asked "they're all different but, all you have to do is make sure it's fair if something isn't just say," Hannah told him. Agni nodded Bard said "how about some drinking games to make it more fun? the winner gets a point and by the end of the night the person with the most points is the winner"

"Agreed," Claude and Sebastian said together. After another few more rounds they had got a crowd someone said "wait he's challenging the demon!" "What he's crazy, no one ever beat Sebastian at drinking" people were taking bets the table was full of bottles glasses and such. "How long have they been at it?" someone asked "mmm a few hours now," Bard told them. another few hours passed "this is going nowhere ok boys last one, it's getting late and your well both pissed" Hannah told them. a few people had gone but most stayed to see who would win the bar wasn't complaining they were getting money. "fine" Sebastian told her his words slurring slightly, the alcohol was taking effect. Claude nodded Hannah set the last challenge of the night up and said "ok row of shots at the bar, one end to another meet in the middle then whoever makes it there and is still standing downs the pint of drips from all drip trays behind the bar, and lastly the Jager challenge whoever is still standing after this wins"

Everyone murmured Agni said "what is the Jager challenge?" he had no idea "basically a pint of Jager bombs, the person drinks it all then has to stand for 3 minutes without support if they do that then they win," Bard told him. Agni nodded understanding it now "and the drips what are those?" "it's the tray that's underneath where the beer comes out, it collects any spilt beer they have to drink that" Meyrin told him. he nodded Sebastian and Claude went to each end of the bar everyone counted down "1 2 3 go!" everyone watched and chanting go, go, go and cheering for who they wanted to win. it didn't take them too long to get to the Jager challenge they both downed the pint "3 minutes starts now, first to fall loses no holding onto anyone or anything" Hannah told them the two men downed their drinks once. they had Agni keep time everyone held their breath all watching for who would stumble or use something to prop themselves up. soon Agni said "that is three minutes" the two sat down and were given a pint "ok last drink, first to finish this wins it's the bars drip trays of all beers" the two took it and downed it and put the empty glass down at the same time.

Hannah helped Sebastian and Claude up "Claude let's get you home" "I'm fine" he told her. it was clear both were drunk, but both had their wits about them well almost all of them "we've had a drinking contest, so just crash in my room it's better than driving drunk" he held onto a railing for support "Sebastian are you sure?" Hannah asked she was unsure since what happened at the beginning of the night Sebastian nodded. "I'm sure, look I may not have the best opinion of him but still I wouldn't want someone to drive drunk, well unless that person is my birth father and do the world a favour, besides they gave me a twin room it's fine" "Alright then, can someone give these two a hand?" the triplets came over, as well as Agni Bard and Meyrin had gone. two of the triplets had Claude, Agni and the other triplet had Sebastian. Hannah said "Sebastian what room? and your key" he passed her his key it had the room number on it.

When they got to his room Sebastian said "thanks" "be sure to drink a pint of water then go sleep" Hannah told them. "Yes mother" Hannah rolled her eyes and left them, Agni said "I will let Meyrin and Bard know you got to your room" "thanks Agni night" he went and closed the door. "Which bed should I take?" Claude asked "any I don't care, I'll be back in a sec" Sebastian went into the bathroom to change when he came out Claude kissed him.

Sebastian pushed him away a few minutes later, and said "the hell!" he glared at Claude. "You're pissed, now I'm going to bed" Sebastian fell on the bed by the window. he put his phone next to his bed "Sebastian are you mad?" Claude asked "the fact you just kissed me out the blue, yeah I'm mad" "like you said I'm pissed, but what if I wanted to? and it wasn't the drink talking?" Claude had seen it as a chance to do it, and if it went wrong, it could be blamed on the alcohol. Sebastian sat up and looked at him "what?" Claude sat next to Sebastian "I don't know if it's because I'm pissed or what but" Sebastian looked at him. "I can say this I do enjoy your company, it's a pleasant change like at the aquarium I didn't know you were that Claude, do you wish none of that happened in high school?" Claude nodded "yes, I wish I'd gone about it differentially but the past can't be changed, but the future has endless possibilities, would it be so bad if we met up again?" Sebastian thought about it. "No, I did also say, I was going to give you a chance to make it up to me for what you did" it was then they kissed again. they pulled apart Sebastian said, "s-sorry god that drinking contest" Claude chuckled "I didn't mind, for now, we can just take it a day at a time is that ok with you?" Sebastian nodded "sure now sleep" "I'll drop you off" "ok night" soon they were both dead to the world.
