6 - No One There
"Ahh!" I screamed, jumping back from my previous position.
With wide terrified eyes, I looked back to see, the person who scared me, only to come face to face with the boy with midnight black hair and the blue eyes, that seemed to have stolen my heart.
Although, I have never seen a blue moon before his cyan eyes peeking out from some of his hair, reminded me of the blue moon between the dark night.
"Lilian?" I asked, shocked.
What is he doing here?
"Yes?" He responded, confused.
"What are you doing here?" I asked, looking up at him.
"I came here to buy something, How about you? Do you like them?" He said, pointing towards the vase with a shake of his head.
"I don't actually, I just saw them for the first time today but I gotta say they are really pretty!" I exclaimed, turning to face the flowers.
"They are Dahlias" he said, turning to look at them, a small almost invisible smile present on his lips.
Our reflection were visible on the glass, side by side and I couldn't help but stare at the boy standing next to me. He wore navy blue jeans with a white loose shirt. A silver pendant hanging from his neck.
"They symbolise beauty, inner strength, kindness and many more things." He said, cutting off my thoughts.
"Oh, They are pretty little things with pretty meanings." I said, sadly.
It's sad that to have a beautiful meaning, you must be beautiful too....
Because nothing depicts beauty better than something pretty...
"There's more to it you know." He replied, chuckling.
"What is it?" I asked curiously, expecting him to answer with some more beautiful meanings these flowers have.
"That something, that might look insignificant to some, gave others so such inspiration that they give it such beautiful meanings." He said, turning to look at me, his eyes filled with warmth and awesome.
"It makes me think, that people are more beautiful than they realize because not everyone cares about what the outside looks like but most of us care, how the inside is like." He said, turning back to look at the flowers.
And his words they moved me so much, I couldn't say anything but stand there with him and watch those flowers. I never thought there would be someone, who would ever say that to me. That there would be someone, who would look at flowers and think something like this. I don't remember how long we both stayed there standing, and watching the flowers but I remember how at peace, I felt being with him there.
"Esmee!!!" A voice shouted, making me turn my head to look around for the person who screamed. Only, to find Nia waving at me and calling me over to her.
"It seems like they are calling for you." Lilian said, looking at Nia too.
"I'm sorry, but I have to go now." I say, apologetically.
"It's okay, don't worry. See you!" He said with a smile.
"Byebye!!" I replied, before I started walking towards Nia.
"Also, Esme, that's not all they mean." He said, making me halt in my steps and look back to see him only to find there was no one standing there.
"Esme!!, Hurry upp!!" Nia whined.
"I'm coming!" I replied to her, looking back one final time.
But this time also,
There was no one there.

"Nooooo!!!, Stoppp!!, don't doooo thisss to meee" Nia whined, pulling away from me and Felix.
"Just shup up for heaven's sake Nia." I snapped at her.
Who's bright idea was it to let her drink?
"Can't we just dump her somewhere?" Felix groaned, as he put one of her arms behind his neck to support her.
"Noooww!!" Nia said, slurring her words before she started pulling Felix's hair and my collar tightly.
"Stop! I can't breathe"
"Stop! It hurts!"
"Hehehe, Sowwy!" she giggled, leaving us alone as she tried to hide her giggles by putting her hand on her mouth.
"Demon... This woman is a demon, I tell ya." Felix said, as he held his head tightly and closed his eyes, trying to ease the pain. "Just listen to her laughing as if she did nothing wrong by nearly killing me." He continued, whimpering.
"At this point, One of us should just draw a circle and return her to her rightful world." I said, rolling my eyes.
"You guuys aree soo funnie" Ade said, giggling before she threw her head back and started laughing like a maniac
"Let's just drop her off, as fast as possible" Felix huffed before he cautiously put her hand behind his neck to support her again.
"For real." I replied, doing the same as him to support her.
After a while, we got a cab after some calls from Felix to his house.
"Thankgod, I beared with you for so long." I said, as I stretched before slouching down the soft car seat.
"Don't be a gold digger now, darling." Felix said, with a smirk as he looked outside at the dark blurry scenery. His reflection completely clear on glass.
"Of course I won't be, I have decided to leave it to my bestie, you see." I teased, making him laugh lightly.
"Sure, sure." He said.
The ride back to home was silent and quiet filled with Nia's light snores and our peaceful silence. Lost in my thoughts I didn't realize, we had reached my home till the driver said "Miss, we have reached." After wishing 'good night' and 'see you tomorrow' to Felix, I got out and walked up the front porch to my house.
But the car did not drive away, and as usual they stayed there until I got in my house.
I took out my keys from my bag and opened the door before stepping in. I turned back and waved a final goodbye to Felix before the car drove away. Closing the door, I removed my boots and put them in the shoe rack.
I climbed up the stairs to my room. One step at a time, the tiredness of the whole day kicking in all at once. My room was just as I remembered with a single bed pushed to the side with light blue blanket on it, posters decorated the wall some in black and white and some in colour.
The only thing out of place, was a asphodel and a note placed in my balcony. Cautiously, approaching the glass door of my balcony, I slowly slid it open and picked up the the flower and the note.
Turning back the note I started reading what it said -
