I looked around the room. It looked like an bedroom of some sort. The walls were a plain white colour while the floor was a creamish coloured carpet. I headed over to the desk in the corner of the room. There wasn't much on it, which was why I went over to it in the first place. Only a small book with a lock and a lamp was on the desk. There were two drawers. One has a piece of paper in it and the other drawer was locked. I looked at the paper for any clues but there was nothing. The paper was blank.

Next, I walked over to the bed. It surely looked like a regular bed. There wasn't anything suspicious about it, 'Was it just there for decoration?' I asked myself as I continued to look around the room. I noticed a closet next to the bed. 'Maybe I can open it?' I grabbed the door knob and turned it only to find the closet locked. "That's just great" I sighed and turned to the bookshelf that was next to the desk. There was only a single book that I could open and I needed to unlock it.

Lastly, I looked at the puzzle in the floor. In the middle of the room, there was a dip in the floor in the shape of a star. I'm guessing that I'm supposed to put something in there but I'm not sure what yet.

"Great, I'm already stuck." I look at the poster on the wall, which wasn't helpful at all. It was in a different language, which I'm going to guess was Japanese or Chinese? Maybe Korean? I can't really tell the difference between the three. I sighed as I glanced at my options again.

"Do you need a hint already? Because you can use them whenever. I mean starting is the hardest part... at least for me."

I glanced at the clock. 42:47. I already wasted three minutes looking around and some puzzles will take long to figure out so... "Yeah, I need a hint."

"You sure?"

"Yep."

"Ok, the first puzzle has to do with the 'blank' paper on the desk."

Huh? They said the word "blank" weirdly. I'm gonna guess that it's not blank then. I picked up the piece of paper and held it up to the light. Maybe that will do something? Ughhhhh. I'm terrible at puzzles and on top of that my head still hurts. I look around the room again and then at the clock. 40:23. I feel panic start to rise inside of me. Okay... Calm down you still have forty minutes to figure out like what.... five puzzles? I'm not sure how many puzzles there are. Shit.

I turn back to the desk and take a seat in the chair. I mean I might as well while I'm trying to figure it out. I turned on the lamp only to see that it was a blacklight this whole time. God, I feel so dumb.  I put the paper under it and it read "1998". The year I was born? Okay. Looking at the locks again, three out of four were number locks. I guess I'll try the one on the drawer first. I put in the numbers and the drawer unlocked. Inside there were two keys. One for my handcuffs and one for the closet I assume since it's the only thing that needs a key. I quickly unlocked my handcuffs and walked over to the closet.

The closet had what I assume were the pieces for the floor puzzle. And a blueprint of where the pieces are supposed to go.

It took a while but, I had finally finished the puzzle on the floor. 25:34. I have less than half an hour left. I looked at the finished puzzle and saw the numbers "0108". My birthday? Okay? Now I just have to figure out which lock this goes to. There's only the two books. I grabbed the book on the desk and put the numbers in and it unlocked. This is easier than I thought. I opened the book to find this:

Oh god. What. I'm guessing this is for the poster. So, it's in Korean? This might take a while. I looked at the poster. "ㄷㅗㅂㅣㅏㅅ' ㅎㅔㅣㄱㅎㄷ (ㅏㄸ ㅏ 0 ㅏㄷ ㄷ헤 ㅔㄴㄷ)."

10:59. It was a bit confusing since some of the characters meant two letters but it says "Tobias' height (add a 0 at the end)".  "How am I supposed to know? Also, how do you know the names of my friends?" I asked Ex.

"Again, I know everything. I know you, your friends, etc. Blah, blah, blah. Do we really need to spend time on these silly questions? Also, I know that you know the answer."

I sighed as I walked over to the bookshelf and picked up the lock. "1630" I put into it. 

It held a single piece of paper that just said "Date". I look at it with a confused face. What day is it? I began to freak out. It's either 2406 or 2506. I don't know. Frick. I need help. But, it's the last thing. I literally can't ask for help. What am I going to do?!
