The start of winter is always the start of the worst kind of weather present in London. The snowflakes fall down from the hollow sky like a beautiful, pure glass flower, black cabs driving back and forth on the empty street, busying printing on the wet, muddy snow on their wheel tracks as they carry their passenger to their destination.

On the last tube of the day, the sound of someone's heels meets the hard surface of the empty station, moving down from the tube towards the entrance, along with some metallic sound.

A girl, somewhere between 13-14 years old, with a handbag in her left hand and some suitcases, drag behind her. Under the coldness of a peaceful night, her beautiful pale skin seems to be a bit paler, her dreamy nut-alike brown eyes desperately searching for a cab or a place to stay overnight. The small silhouette walked briskly as her short, auburn curls fluttered behind her.

It's snowing again.

The white, fluttering snowflakes fall slowly from the black ink sky and meet her curly hair before starting to melt down. She wonders if there is any cab that would take her since it was probably the dead of the night. Her destination was here, in London. Manchester was a good city too, she spent her childhood years growing up in that crowded city.  There is an explanation for why she's here and to be honest, she doesn't feel comfortable reminding herself of the reason.

The small silhouette now is standing on the cold pavement, trying to find a cab as one of her hand is in the air. It would freeze her to keep walking in weather like this. Besides, with these eyes, she shouldn't be messing around in the dark. A cab passed by...then two cabs...three... It seems that none of the cabbies would catch her, they were probably just too tired or maybe just think a kid like her would have enough money. The figure let out a long sigh and shake her head.

The girl continued to raise her hand in the air, scared that she won't be able to catch a cab and that she'll have to walk to find the place in the middle of the night.

The sound of the rubber reels smashing against the cold snow, slowly approaching her and it caught her attention. When the cab is fully stopped in front of her, she make her way to slide inside, feeling relieve now she's in a warmer place. After settle down in the back seats, she smile to herself, please.

There's something uneasy about the cabbie, in which she not so sure. The man asked her where does she wants to go. The girl reached her hand in her bag, pull out a little notebook and a pen, she scribble some letter in one page, then ripped it out before handed it to the cabbie.

"221B Baker Street? Are you sure?"- said the man behind the wheels.

She nods and let out a smile.
