2003 . 12 . 23
THE BELL CHIMMED indicating that a customer has arrived. Dropping her phone on the table she immediately scrambled towards the Customer who was searching through the large shelves "How can I help you sir?" Her sweet voice asked making the Customer smile.
"Do you have anything that would suit a four year old child?" The Customer who was a man asked and she immediately nodded. The light sounds of Christmas carols going on in the radio filled up the calm atmosphere, the warmth radiating from the heater was enough to keep them warm in the cold winter.
"A he or a she?" She asked and the man inmediately answered, mentioning that he was searching for a Christmas present for a four year old boy "does he like trains?" She asked and the man went into thinking.
"I guess he does" the man said making her chuckle. She pulled out the latest version of Toy train that they received lately and handed it to the man. He started examining the box and then she taught him how it works.
"I think I'll take it" the man said and she smiled at him politely. She lead him towards the counter and started packing up the gift the best way possible.
"So do you work here alone?" The man asked and she nodded smiling, her smile had no ideas in leaving her beautiful face.
"Sometimes my Husband will help me with the shop but mostly I do it all alone" she answered whilst he paid for the gift.
"Oh so you're married?" He asked and she nodded.
"Happily married and have two children" she answered for which the man smiled widely.
"Children are the best that can happen to a happily married couple" he stated and she nodded agreeing "Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays miss" he bowed at her and she did too.
"Same to you!!" She joyfully answered and waved bye at the Customer. Just as the Customer left the bell chimmed again motioning that someone else had entered the shop "Welcome to Chubby toys!!" She screamed and walked from behind the Cashier but stopped on her tracks when she realized it wasn't a customer. It was her little family.
"Honey your kids are so troublesome" her husband, Kyle, whined and walked towards her like a baby while the two kids walked behind their father with big smiles.
"Mommy look what daddy bought for me" her three year old daughter, Alexi, skipped towards her and pointed at her reindeer hairband that was placed on her hazel brown hair.
"That's a beautiful band, did you get me one too?" She looked at her husband with big bambi eyes and he bit his lips in nervousness. How could he forget that his beautiful wife loved hairbands?
"Umm I-" he was cut off by their five year old son.
"Dad got you one too mommy, here" Jay placed a reindeer hairband on Amyra's hand making her gasp. Amyra wrapped her arms around Kyle's neck and placed a chaste kiss on his cheeks making him blush.
"Thank you honey" Amyra said and pulled away. Kyle looked at his son with furrowed eyebrows and Jay only winked at his dad. Jay knew his father would mess up so he managed to get two hairbands while Alexi selected one for herself.
"No problem" Kyle answered and bumped his fist with Jay and leaned onto his ear "I'll by you a new playstation for Christmas" Kyle whispered at the youngers ear making his eyes go wide. Who knew after buying a hairband for mom he would be so fortunate to get a new playstation?
"Will you help me close down the shop kids?" Amyra asked and the kids immediately nodded and helped Amyra pack her things while Kyle walked around the shop examining the toys.
"How was work today Kyle?" Amyra asked while counting the money she received for the day.
"Not so bad, managed to ask for three weeks holiday from boss" he said making her eyes go wide "so I was thinking maybe we should go on a family trip?" He asked and she immediately nodded giving him her beautiful smile.
"That's great- nah ah Kyle keep it on its place, I'm not ready to fix anything you break today" Amyra said sternly making Kyle place the wooden toy back on its place. Whenever Kyle touches something, it breaks without his knowledge. He had some powers of breaking stuff and Amyra absolutely despised it.
"Everything done mom, let's go home quickly, I want to eat dinner" Jay hugged his mothers leg and she chuckled. She nodded and grabbed her bag and the keys. Handing the keys to Kyle she picked up Alexi who was dozzing off and walked out of the shop.
Carefully she placed Alexi at the backseat and buckled her up, turning around she smiled watching her husband and Jay locking the gates of her gift shop. Jay and Kyle always got along, from breaking stuff to fixing stuff. They were eachothers partner in crime.
Jay pulled Kyle towards their car and they got in after Amyra. Buckling up they headed towards their home sweet home.

Turning on the lights of the house Amyra quietly walked towards Alexi's room with alexi dozzed off on her arms. Carefully she placed the little kid on her bed and removed her Jacket along with her shoes and socks. She then removed the hair accessories off the kids head and placed a motherly kiss on the kids forehead and walked out of the room.
"Kyle I'll make dinner, can you help Jay washup?" She asked Kyle who was placing the new Christmas tree that he bought in his car at the corner of the hall.
"Yeah!! Make the best dinner!!" He exclaimed and skipped towards her, placing a soft kiss on her lips he walked towards Jay's room.
With a smile on her face she walked towards the kitchen while tying her hair up in a bun. Grabbing the apron she wore it and opened the fridge to check what's available for dinner. Meanwhile Jay was standing at the edge of the bath tub while watching his father pour different fragrances filled liquids into the hot water.
"Daddy?"
"Yeah" kyle said and motioned the boy to step into the tub.
"Who is Louis?" by the youngers question Kyle stiffened and his smile faltered. It was as if a switch was pressed in him, emotions started pouring into his heart and it took his breath away. Who was Louis?
"W-Where did you hear his name?" Kyle asked looking right at the youngers eyes.
"I went to the basement Yesterday and found a box named Louis's belongings, I didn't go to open it since it wasn't mine" Jay answered while washing himself in the hot water. The younger didn't realize that tears were running down Kyle's eyes. Kyle immediately stood up and walked towards the sink then washed his face to get the tears off his face.
"Daddy are you okay?" Jay asked looking at his father who was taking in large breaths. Kyle smiled and nodded at the kid.
"Daddy's fine, totally" he answered and walked back towards Jay and helped him wash himself.

"Dinners ready!!" She yelled and removed her gloves and apron. Kyle and Jay walked into the dinner room and sat on their seats making her smile "you both smell so good" she kissed them and skipped towards her room to freshen up.
Kyle immediately served the younger some food because he knew the kid was hungry right now, he then served himself but didn't eat since he wanted to wait for Amyra "Daddy you didn't tell me who Louis was" Jay said making Kyle stiffen.
"Louis" kyle repeated the name and a cold shiver ran down his spine, he hasn'tspelled that name in years, the bitterness in his voice didn't go unnoticed by the younger "Louis was my brother" he said and the latters eyes widened.
"You had a brother?" he asked surprised and Kyle nodded with a smile "what was he like?" He asked and an involuntary sigh left Kyle's lips.
"Just like you, goofy, childish, weirdly smart, handsome and most importantly selfless, he cared for everyone, he loved everyone, he was the best brother anyone could ever get" kyle answered while the younger listened attentively.
"Where is he now?" Jay asked and Kyle gave a sad smile.
"Heaven, probably" he answered and looked at his fingers. Jay didn't want to ask more questions seeing his dad's gloomy face. Asking the question two days before Christmas was a bad idea, he should have asked it on Christmas itself.
"Kyle why aren't you eating?" Amyra asked as she walked towards the duo who were seated on the table, her sweet voice broke him from his painful trance.
"Was waiting for you"

Dinner was done, Jay is asleep, Alexi is asleep, Amyra is busy in her phone. Perfect time to sneak into the basement. He abandoned his laptop on the coffee table and walked towards the basement door which was located aside of the kitchen. Searching for the keys on the key hanger he picked the needed one and opened the door of the basement.
Darkeness welcomed him and he stood there for a few seconds before walking down the creaking wooden stairs. It has been months since he last walked into the basement and now it was very dusty. With his torch held high he reached the end of the stairs and switched on the light of the basement.
The light lit the once dark room, piles and piles of unopened boxes were revealed under the light. Slowly and quietly he searched for a specific box. A brown box which he hid behind all the other boxes when he first arrived at this house.
Noticing the brown box he immediately walked towards it and pulled it out from the corner. The dust on it immediately soared around making him sneeze. Dusting the box a bit more he slowly opened the lid revealing picture frames from inside it. A sad smile crept onto his face looking at the first picture, it was a Picture of him and his beloved brother Louis.
The picture was taken when he and his brother attended a party at America with his friends. It was quite a busy day and they took the picture after all the work was done. His brother looked so handsome in it and it brought a smile onto his face. Next his eyes fell on the picture of him, Alex and Cody.
He remembers clearly the day they went on a trip to Malibu. He and his friends always loved to travel to beaches cause it was fun. Amyra too would tag along sometimes, she loved to spend time with the boys. Next he picked the picture frame of him and the boys.
This was taken when they hanged out in Amyra's house on a spring day, the best night according to him because it was the day he knew he liked Amyra. Right after his revelation the boys were excited so they pulled him in to take a picture. He was the only person who escaped the friendzone.
Cody and Louis were quite the best friends, their relationship was love and hate. It was funny and cute to see their interactions. And Kyle believed their friendship was the strongest of all. Tears were already running down his cheeks while he looked at his friends.
"Miss them alot" a calm voice spoke behind him startling him. He jumped up and placed his hand on his chest to calm his poor heart. Amyra stood behind him with a small smile on her lips. She uttered a small sorry and took the picture frames onto her hand.
"I- I was just- I came here-" Kyle was cut off by her.
"I know why you came here, I heard Jay asking about Louis, he was curious about him" Amyra said while her eyes softened looking at the group picture of the boys. Kyle slowly wrapped his arms around her waist from the back and laid his head on the shoulder.
"Do you remember the day you proposed me?" She asked and he nodded. The duo chuckled looking at the frame on her hands "The boys went berserk, they were more excited than you were" she said and he chuckled.
"I was nervous, they were just trying to calm the tension building up in me" Kyle answered and sighed looking at the picture.
"Nathan and Justin always took goofy photos just to make us laugh" Amyra said and chuckled. Her fingers ran over the old frames and a sigh left her lips "Its been Seven years" she uttered while a lone tear slipped from her eyes, the silent pain they have been drowning in has been since seven years ago.
"I think we should leave" Kyle said and she nodded. Carefully placing the frames in the box she picked the lid to close it but stopped when she noticed a little box in it. Without thinking twice she took the brown wooden box from inside the cardboard box and examined it.
Kyle was already climbing the stairs but stopped when he saw her holding a wooden box. Before he could stop her she opened it and she swore her heart stopped beating. Inside the box was a necklace with a rich looking large blue pendant, its edges designed by golden Ivy.
"Kyle how is this here?" She asked her gaze still not leaving the necklace "Kyle come back here and answer me!!" She said sternly and Kyle immediately skipped down the stairs and walked towards her.
"Amyra I-" he was cut off by her sharp yet broken voice.
"Why did you keep it?" She asked and he was already starting to get nervous, he didn't know why he kept it either. Maybe because it was the last thing that was with Louis. Amyra was already shivering looking at the necklace on her hand.
"Amyra calm down-" he was cut off by his own phone tinging saying he recieved a message. He immediately pulled his phone out of the pocket and checked the message.
"What is it?" She asked now a bit calmy but frowned when he immediately stuffed the phone in his pocket. Something was wrong "what are you hiding from me kyle?" She asked but he just shook his head. She immediately put her hand in his pocket and pulled out his phone.
"Amyra give it to me" he stretched his hand and tried to get the phone from her hand but she quickly walked past him towards the stairs while reading the message he received. She managed to walk towards the hall but stopped on her tracks when she was done reading the message. She turned around and placed her gaze on Kyle who was behind her.
"Four Tickets from here to Moscow and one ticket from Moscow to Japan? Can you please tell me what you are planning Mister Kyle?" She asked sternly, tears pricked her eyes as she glared at him. Kyle was speechless, he didn't know his plans would be known by her.
"Why would you want to go back to Japan? And why do you still have the necklace?" She asked and choked out a sob while his eyes filled with tears looking at her broken self "you promised me that you would not go back, so why now? Why all of a sudden?" She asked and hit his chest with her small fist.
"He calls me-" Kyle choked out a sob "he calls me everynight in my dreams" he said and her brows furrowed at his response "he asks for help, he says he's feeling cold, he says it's dark in there, he is asking me to come to him"
"Who does? Kyle who does?" She asked holding his shoulders.
"Louis does" Kyle answered and Amyra quickly pulls him into a hug. She knew he would say this cause she has been experiencing the same thing for quite some years now.
"Cody, Alex, Justin, Jay they all call me too honey, they call me too. They say that they feel alone without me, they are asking for help from me too but I always ignore them for the sake of our Kids, I don't want to bring trouble for the kids Kyle, I really don't want to loose them" Amyra uttered and cried onto Kyle's shoulder.
Kyle hugged her back and the couple comforted eachother with their warmth "do you want to go back to Japan leaving the kids alone with me?" she asks and he immediately shooks his head. He doesn't want to, he wants to be with his kids and his pretty wife, his descisions were stupid. Going back to Japan was a bad idea.
She let go of him and wiped off his tears "I will drop the kids at mom's for this Christmas, I feel like we have to clear our minds for Christmas this time-"
"No I don't want to-" she placed her finger on his lips shutting him up.
"They will be sent to my mom and that's final, and I will throw this necklace away so it wouldn't get to us in anyway okay?" She asked sternly this time and he immediately nodded. She pulled him in for a kiss and he melted in her arms. Normally she would be the one melting in his arms but tonight it was him.
--•○•--
"Bye Buddy don't trouble Grandma and grandpa" Namjoon waved bye at the kids who were happily standing next to their grandparents.
"You will pick us after Christmas right daddy?" Alexi asked while hughing her dolly tighter because she felt cold standing outside in the snowy night.
"Yes baby, mommy and I will pick you up after Christmas" Kyle answered and got into the car and buckled up. Amyra who was talking to her mother immediately kissed her mothers cheek and then kissed her fathers cheek. She then crouched next to her lovely kids and pulled them in for a hug.
"Like daddy said don't trouble Grandma and Grandpa, help them the way you can okay?" She asked and they nodded. She placed kisses on their face making them giggle, then she pulled away and got into the car and waved at them.
"Don't worry they would be fine" Kyle answered and placed his hand on hers to comfort her "lets go somewhere far and throw this cursed necklace" Kyle said and she nodded.

They were standing infront of a massive lake late at night, the cold wind gushed by them making them hold onto each other. Amyra looked at the necklace on her hand and looked back at the lake, her heart was heavy with pain. She was reliving the memories of that day, that specific day she lost almost everything.
"Do it" Kyle whispered and she nodded. She let go of kyle and walked forward leaving him alone. With all her strength she threw the necklace into the lake. The necklace was immediately gobbled down by the dark cold water, they watched as it sunk out of sight.
All she hoped was for a better future, a future with no pain and suffering. But she wasn't sure if she would receive it this time cause the weird feeling that she got seven years ago was creeping back into her. She was startled when she felt a hand on her shoulder .
"Calm down darling its just me" Kyle whispered and she immediately hugged him. A sigh left his lips as he hugged her back. They snuggled into eachother for a few more minutes before Kyle chose to speak up.
"So Alexi had been asking for a younger sibling from me for Christmas" he spoke up and she immediately looked at him with big doe eyes.
"She did?" She asked and he nodded with a smile "Why didn't she ask me?" Amyra pouted and rested her head back on his chest. A chuckle left his lips at the latters answer.
"So, it wouldn't be nice if we didn't give her this present right?" He sneakily asked making her frown and smile. She looked back at him while he acted clueless.
"Are you sure she asked it? Or are you asking for it?" She asked while he just stood their like a clueless man.
"I would love to have another little us running around the house" he answered making her chuckle "only if you are okay with it" he said and she immediately nodded.
--•○•--
The door of their house burst opened and in entered none other than them. Kyle pushed Amyra on the back of the door and locked it. He then pressed his lips back on hers. Amyra's hands gripped his shirt while he pressed his body on hers, they were in pure bliss, feeling each other after many years.
Responsibilities of a parent had hit them hard that they really had no time for each other, guess it's time to care for each other during Christmas when the kids aren't around.
He immediately carried her from her thighs making her wrap her legs around his waist and hold onto him tight. He carried her towards the room but stopped when the landline started ringing. The couple pulled away from eachother and frowned because they rarely get call to their landline.
Carefully letting down Amyra on her feet, Kyle walked towards the phone but Amyra beat him to it. She placed the phone on her ear and uttered a soft 'hello' but frowned when she got no response "Hello can I know who's speaking?"
"A-amyra"
And she froze.
That voice, she recognized it in less than a second.
"A-Amyra Its me L-Louis"
the phone immediately dropped from her hand startling Kyle. She took a step back from the phone with her eyes wide opened. Confused at her reaction Kyle immediately picked the phone and placed it on his.
"Can I know who this is?" Kyle asked and slowly wrapped his hands around Amyra who was shaking like a leaf. Her breaths were uneven and her expressions told that was absolutely disturbing.
"L-Louis, K-Kyle I'm feling c-cold, It's D-dark, please h-help me brother" Kyle stiffened on his spot, his grip around the phone tightened as he listened to the sobs at the other side of the phone.
Amyra tugged on his coat taking his attention instantly, he glanced at her and noticed her pointing at something. Following her finger he looked at the direction and his heart dropped.
There laid a necklace with a heavy blue pendant, on the coffee table. The necklace they threw away was back in their home.
And they knew they had no chance to escape this time.
Deathmas was on It's way.
