"CHEERS!!" THE CLINGING of the glasses echoed through the dinning room of their rented Villa. It was extremely cold in Japan at December and they hoped the drink would keep their insides warm

"Does anyone need Cupcakes?" Nathan (Hoseok)  asked pointing at the tray of deliciously decorated Christmas cupcakes on the table. Before answering everyone quickly picked a cupcake for themselves leaving none for Nathan who loved cupcakes "no why you guys have to be so rude?" He sighed and sat on his seat. 

"Take mine" it was Cody (Yoongi) who gave Nathan his cupcake. Nathan's eyes shimmered looking at the cupcake that was placed on his dish.

"Has anyone seen Jay (jimin) and Justin (Jungkook)?" Amyra asked while chugging down her drink in one go. Kyle (Namjoon) looked around and frowned.

"They haven't been here since morning" Louis (Taehyung) answered while pouring another glass of wine for Cody "Jay said he had to meet an old friend and Justin Tagged along with him" Louis uttered and walked towards Alex (seokjin) who was decorating the Christmas tree for the nth time for the day.

"Should I hang this little santa up here or down here?" Alex asked Louis who handed him a glass of wine.

"There are enough of Santa's on the tree Alex, maybe you should keep it away" Louis answered after realizing that there were thirty Santa's hanging on the Christmas tree.

"Okay then, how many more stockings should I hang?" Alex shook the pack of little stockings on his hand making Louis's eyes go wide. There were enough stockings on the tree, why would alex want to add more.

"Okay Alex that's enough decorations for the tree, I think Amyra would need your help in the kitchen" Cody yelled at Alex from the dinner table making the latter sigh and drop the excessive decorations into the box he picked them from.

"Is it bad that I love decorating Christmas trees?" Alex asked Louis who was silently drinking his drink. Louis just shrugged his shoulders and walked away from Alex.

"Cody!! Can you help me clean the hall, there are a lot of gift wraps messing up the hall" Nathan yelled at cody who was peacefully having a drink near the dining table. Sighing Cody nodded and walked towards the hall.

Meanwhile in the kitchen Amyra was placing the cleaned dishes at the highest pantries. Suddenly a dish slid from her hand and slipped down but luckily Kyle caught it before it could contact the hard floor and shattered into pieces "oh thankyou so much" she gasped and took the dish off his hand and carefully placed it on the counter.

A chuckle left Kyle's lips as Amyra tried to calm her rapid breaths "do you need help?" He asked and she nodded pointing at the pile of cleaned dishes that was ready to placed on the pantries. Kyle immediately nodded and proceeded to place the dishes on It's places.

"What is this lovely couple doing here?" Alex asked leaning on the door frame while looking at Kyle and Amyra with a smirk on his face. 

"Just cleaning the mess we made" Amyra spoke up so she could forget the fact that she was blushing because Alex called her and Kyle a lovely couple. 

"Amyra!!" She heard cody calling her from the hall. She immediately left Alex and Kyle and skipped towards the hall where Cody was. Kyle smiled as she skipped away from them.

"She is alwyas shy around you" Alex said while walking towards Kyle and helping him place the dishes on the pantries.

"That's why I love her, she can't help but blush all the time you mention couple" Kyle said and chuckled along with Alex.

"You called me cody?" Amyra asked and stood behind Cody who was pointing at the clock on the wall.

"From two hours it's Christmas and Jay and Justin are still not here, maybe we should check on them" Cody said concerned while she sighed. She has been waiting for the duo for hours too, what made them not come home for dinner? 

"I called them for the millionth time but none of them answers" Nathan handed his phone to Amyra and she immediately checked on it.

"Me and Kyle can go and check if they are around here" Louis spoke up taking everyone's attention. Now Kyle and Alex were also on the hall.

"That's a good idea, Kyle and Louis should go search for them, we'll stay here for them and try to contact them" Cody said, Kyle and Louis immediately nodded and grabbed their coats, Before Kyle stepped out of the house Amyra placed a little kiss on his cheek.

"Be careful its really cold outside, and come back with them-" she was cut off by someone's screams from the back. All of them looked over their shoulders and they stiffened looking at Justin and Jay running towards the house. 

"Jay, Justin where were you?" Amyra asked but the two boys only pushed them all in and locked the door. They looked disturbed and terrified.

"Justin close the curtains and locks the doors, NOW!!" Jay yelled and Justin immediately ran in to do as he was told.

"Jay what's wrong?" Amyra asked but Jay pushed her hard on the wall and placed his finger on her lips shutting her up. She groaned in impact, Kyle immediately pushed Jay away from amyra and pulled her close to him.

"What's wrong with you Jay?!!" Cody asked sternly while the latter walked around while bitting his nails. Sweat was dripping down his forehead and he was blinking furiously, he was panicking for some reason.

"Jay calm down" Alex immediately held the latter from his shoulder stopping him from walking around. Jay looked at Alex whith tears pricking his eyes.

"Alex don't make a sound" Jay whispered and held Alex's shoulder harshly "It's coming for me, It's coming for him, we have to lay low, we have to stay quiet-" Jay was cut off when Justin scrambled towards them.

"Everything's locked Jay, we have to stay low till tomorrow morning" Justin said and Jay nodded.

"Can someone please tell me what the fuck is going on?" Nathan asked the duo who looked absolutely crazy right now.

"We hit someone with our car" Justin said making everyone gasp.

 "It was an accident okay? It was an accident" Justin said and crouched on the floor. He wrapped his hands on the back of his head and started crying, that's when they witnessed dried blood stains on Justin's hands and dress. 

"Is he or she okay?" Nathan asked while Jay crouched next to Justin.

"That's the problem Nathan, we hit someone with our car while driving to the villa, but when we checked there was no one outside. My friend Matt searched the surrounding and said there was no one. Suddenly- Then-" Jay choked a sob out and hugged Justin leaving the others confused.

"Okay first of all we calm down okay? Amyra bring them fresh clothes, Cody and Nathan help them get to the couch, Kyle and Louis, check if the door and windows are locked tightly, I will bring some hot chocolates for them" Alex instructed and everyone nodded and started doing their part.

Silence engulfed the large hall which was lighted up by the cackling fire. Jay and Justin were wrapped up in large comfy blankets while the others waited patiently for them to start speaking up. With a shaky hand Jay placed his empty Hot chocolate mug on the coffee table and placed his gaze on the cackling fire.

"Matt was an old friend of mine, we used to go to highschool together. When I said him that I would be visiting Japan for holidays he immediately invited me to his home. I didn't plan on taking Justin with me but he tagged alone" Jay sighed and rubbed his hands together.

A lump was forming in his throat preventing him from making any more words, but he forcefully gulped it down and continued speaking "When we visited him he looked different, he looked disturbed and terrified of something, just as we entered he locked up all the doors and windows and told us to stay low, I asked him what was the problem and he said he did something wrong, he told us that he's feeling cold and he told us not to leave him alone or it would get him" Jay couldn't hold the pain in anymore and he choked a sob out.

Looking at a vulnerable Jay everyone's eyes softened. None of them has ever seen him so broken, he was the jolly bean in their group, he was the one who would start weird but wise talks in the group, he always listened to their problems. What made him break down like this?

"We suggested Matt to come with us to the villa since he didn't want us to leave, he agreed and we were driving through the forest and thats when it h-happened" Justin spoke up and took a sip off his Hot Chocolate which wasn't hot anymore.

"Someone Jumped infront of the Car and we literally ran over him, we knew he was dead cause we felt the car go over him, but- but when matt checked around there was no one" Jay said and looked at Justin who nodded.

"Me and Jay got off the car and searched around with matt, but there was nothing. Not a single soul, and then- Matt went back into the car and locked himself up alone. We were confused at first, like why would he get in the backseat and lock the car so we won't enter?" Justin continued and sweat beads were forming on his forehead.

Amyra immediately held the Youngers hand and gave him comfort. He smiled at her and held her hand back with his large trembling once "He grabbed the buckle and wrapped it around his own neck and started choking himself, we tried to open the door but they wouldn't budge"

Justin stopped and looked at Jay and motioned him to tell the rest cause he couldn't speak about it "we thought he was killing himself but, from the back of the seat someone was holding the buckle tight around his neck. Someone else was with him, it was hideous- I can't describe it but it had tangled hair and it looked like it smelled rotten- and then it started eating him like a predator does-" Jay stopped and rubbed his face with his hands

"The car shook violently while Matt screamed for help, we couldn't- we couldn't do anything. The door wouldn't budge open, it was terrifying. Very scary" Justin hugged himself with his blanket and rocked back and forth.

"So where is Matt now?" Alex asked and Jay's gaze immediately fell on Alex.

"He- at the back of the c-car" Jay said and Alex's eyes widened.

"You came here from the car?" Kyle asked and Jay nodded.

"So that means there's a Body in MY CAR?!!" Cody Jolted up from the seat and looked at Jay with wide eyes while the latter just nodded. Cody was the only one who has a car in the group, so if anyone wants it they would have to ask permission from Cody. Now Cody is rethinking his decision in giving his car for someone else to use.

"Fuck what should we do?" Louis asked and Kyle immediately grabbed his coat confusing everyone. 

"And where do you think you are going mister?" Amyra asked sternly making kyle stop on his tracks.

"The car, have to see it for my eyes" Kyle said and wore his coat.

"Don't you trust me?" Jay asked now anger rushing through his veins. He doesn't know why but he was starting to feel anger.

"No I do Jay, that's why I'm going to check on it" Kyle softly answered while Amyra held Jay's shoulder calmling him down.

"It's okay Jay, kyle and Cody will check on it, calm down" Amyra rubbed his shoulders and he nodded.

"Me and Justin will come too" Jay spoke up and Kyle looked at Amyra asking if it was okay. Amyra gave a soft nod signaling him that it's okay. Jay, Justin, cody And Kyle walked out of the villa towards the parked car at the front gates.

The white snow fell in little drops onto earth, but they were in no mood to examine the beauty. They were all nervous. Justin tugged onto Cody's arm for strength while Jay led them towards the car. Finally they reached the carelessly parked car at the front gates.

Jay immediately inserted the key into the hole and clicked opened it. He then looked at the others asking if they are ready to see the dead body inside and they nodded. Taking a deep breath in Jay opened the door and closed his eyes cause he didn't want to see the dead body.

"J-Jay where is he?" Justin asked and Jay immediately opened his eyes and looked inside the car. It was empty, there was no dead body, nor blood stains.

"H-He was h-here, w-we left him -h-here" Jay stuttered and took some steps back from the car. He couldn't believe it, he clearly remembers the way he drove towards the villa with a dead body.

"Maybe he wasn't dead- maybe he just left from here?" Cody said while Kyle examined the insides of the car with furrowed eyebrows.

"No- No C-Cody he was hundred percent dead- I just" Justin stuttered and looked around. Cody's eyes softened looking at the panicked boy. He immediately hugged the boy and shushed him because he started crying.

Jay walked around the car and searched for any trails that leads away from the car, but there was none. He leaned on the car and heaved a sigh. Kyle came out of the car with something shinning in his hands.

"Does this belong to matt?" Kyle asked handing a blue necklace to Jay. Jay immediately nodded and examined the necklace.

"He was wearing this, I told you he was in the car before we left him- he-" Jay was cut off by Kyle.

"It's really late now, tomorrow morning lets talk about this okay? We all need to clear up our minds right now" Kyle said and Jay nodded understanding. The four walked back into the villa with lowered heads. They hope they could solve this mystery by morning.

But would they be able to see the morning?

Forgive me for using different names in this story, I made this story for some school assignment. We have to write any short story, so I decided to write this. Hope you guys would enjoy this as much as I do. I forgot to mention before, this is quite a short and terrifying story and chapters would be a bit longer than the usual chapters I write. Hope you can survive till the end of the story
