Hiro woke up from his long slumber to the sound of birds and the buzzing sound of his alarm clock. He could still remember the dreams. As though they were real. He sat up and scratched his head. He just sighed as he stretched.

"These dreams are getting more confusing. What's more is that they feel real. As though I have actually experienced them." He shook his head as he swung his head over the side of the bed he was sleeping in. "I don't know. Maybe there are just dreams."

He stood up and got dressed. He grabbed his pouch full of kunais and wrapped them around the upper part or his right leg. He then grab his shuriken pouch and tied it to the part of his left leg. He lastly put on his white overcoat and fixed his hair.

'It looks like today is the last day of the Academy. The day of the Final Exam. To think that tomorrow will be the day I become a Genin and will get a Jounin Sensei. I wonder what the exam is going to be?' He thought as he prepared to walk out of the door. He opened the door and walked out of it. He turned back and locked it.

He turned around and started walking, heading towards the Academy. As he walked, he could feel the stares on him from the other villagers. He just sighed softly. He and Naruto go through a similar situation here in the village of Konaha. He, like Naruto, was ostracized by the villagers.

However, his situation wasn't as hard as Naruto. He knew what happened to Naruto, though Naruto tried to hide it from him. He still gets angry when he found out that the other villagers beat and bullied Naruto. All because they think he's a demon. However, They don't mess will Naruto when he's around. Not after he sent the villagers who attacked Naruto one day packing as they were attacking him. They never did try to attack Naruto when Hiro wasn't around, nor did they attack Hiro himself.

Hiro was ostracized in another way. The villagers just stared at him, whispering rude things about him. And when he gets close, they walk away, leaving alone. They think that he doesn't hear what they say, but he does. It just doesn't bother him. Still, something's made him question what they say. He has heard things like, "why is this outsider in our village?", or "here comes the outsider.", and many others. When he did, he thought about what he had heard. 'Why would I be an outsider?' He shook his head as continued on his way to the academy.

He came to a stop when he heard a familiar voice yelling from behind him. He smiled slightly at it. "Hiro!" He turned around and smiled slightly again. Running towards him was an over-active blond in an orange jumpsuit.

"Hello Naruto. Good morning." Hiro said as Naruto came to a stop in front of him. "Good morning Hiro. Ready for a boring day?" Hiro smiled at that. He knew that Naruto didn't like class. He thought they were boring. "Naruto. You know today isn't an ordinary day of class. Today is the exams after all."

Naruto groaned at that. "Yippee. Another exam for me to fail." Hiro shook his head. "Don't say that. You may pass this time." Naruto sighed. "Maybe." Hiro placed his hand on Naruto's shoulder. "Come Naruto. Let's get to the Academy." Naruto nodded as they began walking again.

Hiro and Naruto were close to the Academy when they yet another familiar pair of voices. They look ahead and smiled as they saw 2 of their friends heading towards the door. Naruto began running towards them as he called out. "Shikamaru! Choji!" They both turned and smiled as Naruto stopped in front of them and Hiro was walking towards them. As he stopped in front of them, he spoke.

"Good morning, Choji. And to you as well Shikamaru." Shikamaru nodded as Choji spoke. "Good morning Hiro, Naruto. Ready for the exams today?" Hiro nodded as Naruto groaned, which caused Choji to laugh. "Naruto as well huh. Shikamaru didn't care for the exams as well." Shikamaru just sighed.

"This exam will be tiresome. Such a drag." Hiro smirk. "There's our friend Shikamaru. Anyways, let's walk inside." They nodded as Hiro, Naruto, Choji and Shikamaru walked inside. Hiro was glad to have friends with Naruto like Choji and Shikamaru. Those two didn't judge them. Choji actually defended him when he heard some villagers bad mouth about him and Naruto. After that, they all became close friends.

The four walked to their classroom. As they walked in, they could see several girls trying to fight for a seat next to Sasuke Uchiha, Mr. Cold and Silent. Shikamaru sighed. "Here we go again." Hiro just schooled his head. 'This is just annoying. When will they figure out that he doesn't care own out them or anything. Foolish girls. Let's see what they think about this.' Hiro thought as he walked up and took the only seat left next to Sasuke. All the girls instantly looked at him and glared. "Hiro! Get out of that seat." A pink head said as she stomped in front of him. "How about no, Sakura. You girls look kinda pathetic fighting over a guy who would never give you the light of day. He probably plays for the other team, looking like a Duckbutt."

Sasuke glared at him as Sakura roared. "Don't call him that." She threw a punch to his head, but he bushined to another seat. "Nice try Sakura. If you stopped trying to get Sasuke's attention, and put that towards training, you may be a stronger ninja by now." She scoffed. "At least I'm not deadlast." Naruto sunk his head at that, which only made Hiro slightly angry. "At least he's not a pathetic waist of space. So sit down Master Forehead." Everyone tried their best not to laugh. Ino included. Ino didn't try to back Sakura up or anything.

Actually, Ino is more different than everyone thought. Ino was actually shy, even though she hid it well. In reality, she's like Hinata. Afraid to speak up or be brave. Instead, she puts up a facade. A facade to fool the others. Another one of her facades is her liking Sasuke. There was another person she liked. One who was in the room with her. She sat back and did nothing.

Five minutes later, after everyone was seated, Iruka-Sensei and another Chunin came into the room. "Good morning Class." They all responded. "Good morning Iruka-Sensei." Iruka spoke again. "Well class, today is Exam day. Let me introduce the other examiner. This is Mizuki" the man in question nodded as Iruka continued. "Now, we will call a student one at a time to come with us to the examination room. There they will be given a task. If they complete the task, they will pass the exam and be given a Hiate. A head band designating them  as a shinobi. Now, I will call out a student name. When your name is called, please follow me. Akiro David."

The examination began. One by one, each student's name was called. As each person is called, they. Get up and follow the teachers out of the room. They ended up coming back with Hiates around their heads or necks. Hiro  saw that Shikamaru, Choji, Kiba, Hinata, Shino, Ino and Sakura have all passed their exams, sporting Hiates around their necks and heads. Iruka came back in and called out a new name. "Uchiha Sasuke." Everyone looked at him as Sasuke stood and followed him out of the room. It wasn't even 3 minutes when Sasuke came in with a Blue Hiate around his head. Hiro just scoffed. 'Figures.' Sakura tried to her close to him  to congratulate him, but he ignored her. Iruka came back in and called out the next name. "Uzumaki Naruto." Naruto jumped from his seat and yelled. "Yeah! It a my turn." He rushed out of the room following Iruka sensei. Hiro just closed his eyes and waited. Some time later, Naruto came back in with a frown on his face. Hiro looks up and saw that he had no Hiate. 'He didn't pass." Sakura just smirked. "Figures deadlast didn't get a Hiate. Always a failure." Hiro smashed his fist into the desk, causing everyone to jump. "It's not wise to belittle someone becaus of their failures. That may be you one day, forehead." Naruto walked up and sat next to him. "You'll get it next time, Naruto." Naruto just nodded at him.

Finally, Iruka came in can called the last name. "Kurina Hiro." Hiro stood up and walked towards the door. He then followed Iruka-Sensei into the Examination room. He saw Mizuki standing next two people as well as Iruka Sensei.

"Alright Hiro. You have 2 options. Perform a stable clone jutsu or perform a perfect Transformation jutsu." He nodded before asking a question. "Can I do both?" Their eyes widen at that. Iruka responded to him. "Yes. If you want too that is." Hiro nodded. He made a cross hand sign. The examiner's eyes widen at this. Iruka's eyes widen at this. 'Could he be doing that jutsu?'

His unspoken question was answered as Hiro spoke. "Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu." As he finished speaking, 3 perfect shadow clones appeared next to the original. He them made another set of handsigns. "Transformation Jutsu." Each of the clones changed into someone. One turned into a perfect copy of Iruka Sensei. Another turned into Mizuki Sensei. The last one turned into the 3rd Hokage. Iruka eye's widen as he smiled. "Well done Hiro. Pick the Hiate you want." He motioned toward the Hiates. Hiro looked at each one before deciding. He picked up the Hiate with the black Head band strap. He bowed to the intructors. He stood up and began to walk out the room when Iruka stopped him.

"Hiro, wait a minute." Hiro stopped and turned around to face him. Iruka Sensei stood up and walked over to Hiro and held out his hand. In his hand was a headband. A headband with a white strap and a weird symbol on the metal. He looked up at Iruka Sensei. "Sir? Why are you giving me another Hiate?" Iruka shook his head. "This is not one of our head bands. The 3rd Hokage told me to give it to you incase you pass the exam. For reasons why, you'll have to ask the Hokage. But I will say this. This head band belonged to your mother." His eyes widen at that. "My mother?" Iruka nodded. "Yes. Now, let's head back to the classroom." He nodded as he held the foreign headband in his hand. He closed his eyes as he stared at it. 'My mother. I'll ask the Hokage later on today. ' after nodding to himself, he tied his leaf head band to his head. He then tied the foreign headband to his arm. He then followed Iruka-Sensei out of the room and back to the classroom. Iruka opened the door and allowed Hiro in the room. As Hiro walked in, everyone stared at him with wide eyes. Even Sasuke. "Two headbands? How?" Sakura spoke as Naruto cheered for him. "Well done Hiro. You passed." Someone else cheered for him as well. (Can anyone guess who?)

Hiro walked up the steps and sat in his seat. As he did, Iruka began speaking. "This marks the conclusion of the exams. As for those who passed, congrats on becoming Genin. Meet back here tomorrow. You'll find out who's team you're on. Class dismissed." With that, he walked out the classroom.
