I woke up in a panic, shooting up from the table I was laying on.

"Relax, your okay." I heard Jasper say.

"Is she dead?" I whispered, rubbing my temples.

"We don't know. The second you collapsed something triggered in her and something appeared, we don't know what it or who it was but if she was able to survive through that the first time I wouldn't be surprised if she could again." He sighed.

"She can't be immortal." I groaned.

"She could be." I jumped at the sound of my fathers voice. "But there are always loopholes."

"What do you mean she could be?" I frowned.

"We don't know the extent to her experimentation. She planned all of this years in advance, she knew every outcome, she played all of us. I wouldn't be surprised if she found some sort of way to grant her self immortality. But believe me, when I say I will find a way to make sure she suffers, for every second until we find a way to destroy her."

"What do we do now?" I asked slowly sliding my legs across the edge of the examination table.

"We plan and prepare for any threats from her, but based on the current state she was in, we have time. The faction of the forgotten is intact and sealed so there are no imminent threats as we speak." I just nodded.

"Another thing you need to take your human accomplices back to their realm." I just nodded in understanding again.

I got up slowly and made my way to my chambers where they were waiting.

"Laylah!" They all smiled. "Did you do it?" Asked Ty enthusiastically.

I just frowned and shook my head, " She's no longer a threat for right now. But it's time I bring you back to your realm." I told them.

They all frowned as well but understood. We walked out of my chambers and towards the painting I quietly chanted, Enare creating a cut on my hand. I created the symbol on the painting and the portal began taking shape.

The feeling of nausea took over me for a few seconds before we were slammed back into the closet.

"Ow." Groaned Lance.

I quickly opened the closet door of the bar and we all walked out. Luckily every time we've gone through this the bar has been closed.
We walked out and made our way back to their house a few minutes away.

"I'm gonna miss stopping evil." Ty sighed. "I felt like a superhero to be honest."

We all just laughed while looking at each other.

"I have a gut feeling this isn't going to be the end of us working together." I smiled ignoring my fathers threat from earlier.

"I hope so." Smiled Noah.

Once we got to their house they all walked in, but Noah quickly turned around rushing back towards me. He wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me into a hug.

"Please be careful." He whispered.

"I will, I promise." I whispered back. He pulled away for a second looking into my eyes, before slowly leaning in. Our lips were about to touch when we both heard a loud noise from inside causing both of us to jump.

"I should probably go check on them." He sighed.

"Yeah." I chuckled.

"Bye, for now, Noah." I smiled.

"Bye, for now, Laylah." He spoke in return.
