Chapter 10
After a bit of poking around the trio had discovered another gate. War blew his horn and waited for the stone man to speak.
"War... my brothers spoke of your coming. I didn't believe you would free me." He spoke.
"I promise to free all of you, but you must move from my path. I blew your horn and grant you freedom." War replied. The giant shook his head, a saddened tone overcoming his voice.
"I would do so immediately without making you waste your breath, but I am stuck here. My masters have placed a curse on me that holds me to the Earth. The holders dwell in the shadow realm. If you can kill them, I shall no longer block your path." He spoke. War narrowed his eyes with fustration at the mention of the shadow realm.
"I can no longer see into the shadow realm. My powers have been stripped from me. I can kill your enemies if you give me a sword." War called back. Fear gave a confused look.
"Wait, what can this hunk of rock do?" He demanded in a confused voice. War rolled his powder blue eyes at his ridiculous comment.
'You are just to young...' War thought to himself.
"Cover your eyes." War commanded, a little harsher then he meant to. Fear used his mist to make sunglasses and Wild wrapped his tail around his head.
The stone man leaned down and blew incredibly hot breath on War, the magic seeping from his throat piercing the horseman's unflinching eyes. Soon the guardian closed his mouth and straightened.
"Please find them and free me from my torment." He said. War nodded. He looked to the others who uncovered their eyes. Fear raised an eyebrow at the new eye color. War could rock the color orange.
"I will leave you two here to clear the area of demons. When both of our jobs are done, we may advance." War instructed.
