I screamed as I yanked at the chains. They restricted my powers, and even tho I had not eaten food in months, I still somehow managed to move even with the constant energy drain

I exhaled sharply trough my mouth and hit the back of my head at the wall. I stared at the darkness above me the same as it was everywhere. I was going to go insane here soon

"Dman you world! Damn you father!" I yelled at no one in particular and heard my voice echoing trough the emptyness

As the breath became heavier, the room chilled even more. I felt the pressure in the air, as did I feel the slight burning of my muscles now

My wrists warmed suddenly and I frowned. I looked down at my chains, or what I thought were my chains since I could not see anything, while I felt the light pressure in my chest intensify

I grinded my teeth and doubled down slightly. A scream escaped me as the whole arms were now burning, and it was worse than anything I had felt in my life. And I have felt a lot

I screamed as I pulled on my wrists. The mental groaned and with a few more pulls, it broke away and the pieces fell down to the ground with a loud thud

I gasped as my fingers massaged my wrists. My body felt weak, like it had been liquified when I tried to stand up. No use really

Hello welcome to the shit show

I rolled my stiff neck and got up in a flyid motion. The feeling had quickly dissapeared, leaving me feeling refreshed. I no longer felt like my stomach was eating itself inside out or the burning in my throat. I grinned and went to stand in front of the door

My hands explored the walls surface, looking for the bars. But there were none. Only the walls. I couldn't even feel where the door began

I groaned and kicked the wall in frustaration. I rubber my face and looked around, an idea forming in my mind

My father had never allowed me to use or even explore my abilities, just control them enough so I wouldn't kill the whole house or him

I decided to use the advice Melani had given me all this time ago. My head tilted down as I dug deep inside of me. The wind around the room picked out of nowhere, chilling me to the bone. My hands warmed up and soon, the darkness parted just slightly. I could see my hands now, something covering around them

I shivered and yanked my arms outwards, as a wave rolled off of me like it had in the graveyard. A rough scream echoed trough the room but I couldn't care less if it was mine. The walls bursted as the gravel fell down all around me. Suddenly light went into the room and I flinched, narrowing my eyes. I walked over the now crumbled walls and out of the room

A hall stood in front of me, torches lined all around it. More doors stood on them as I passed trough, a small smile on my lips

Mission one: Find father

I started to run and came before a spiral staircase. I climbed up as fast and guietly as I could, the thing seemingly endless. As my foot hit the last stair, I was greeted by more halls

Great. The only thing left is to get goddamn fireworks in here

I went right, then left but my frustaration won. Without thinking about it, I pushed at the wall and created a hole big enough for me to walk trough. I smirked. This would come in handy

I walked trough confidently and looked around. Nobody was here. I went up another staircase and finally found a door in here. Everyone call Satan, a miracle had been send by god!

I pushed the door open, and stepped outside in the green field. My hand went up to shield my face from the light of the moon. Imagine how dark it had been

I blinked and looked around. Once the coast was clear, I ran like my butt was on fire. I went trough the forest, the bushes and dying before being able to scratch my skin

It went on for hours. For who knew how long, I just ran. My body wanted to collapse, but I wouldn't let it. I knew my father was gonna come after me, and I was leaving a trail of death behind me.

My breath came out short as my body finally collapsed to the ground. Darkness edged on my vision, my body shutting out. My eyelids dropped as my struggles stopped

My eyes fluttered open as the Sun shone over my head. I rolled to my back and stared up at the sky. It felt like forever since I had seen it

I breathed in deeply and stood up on my elbows. Looking around, my gaze drank up the sight around me. Past the ashened plants and trees stood the vibrant, bright colors of nature. The sky was crystal clear and a deep blue color

I groaned as I slowly stood up and stretched my body. I heard a rustle behind me and turned to look at the noise. I could see people in the distance, wearing the uniforms of my fethers quard. Shit shit shit CUT THE CAMERAS

I quickly stood up and ran between the trees, trying to stay out of sight. The bad part was that the things darkened, so I had to run. And fast

I sprinted as I heard the telling behind me. I pushed harder and harder, feeling the drain but the adrenalin prevented me from stopping. Fire hit my back and I stumbled but didn't stop. I dodged blindly as I sensed the energy before I felt it

I pushed my hands in front of me, black mist around my fingers. I formed a ball of it and fired at the people behind me. I remembered seeing something in a movie and created a wall of the smoke behind me. I grinned at it managed to stop the fireballs and the quards

I waved at them and ran away. I could already hear the wall starting to break

"Hela!" Melani screamed as she appeared beside me

My eyes widened and I almost fell "What the hell are you doing here!?" I yelled

She grinned and shrugged, her form flying beside me "Well, I have been trying to come visit you in there" she pointed behind her "but something was stopping me"

I dodged a tree that almost gave me a free slap in the face as she continued "SO, once you exited the force field I felt you and came to say hi" she grinned and looked back, then her face dropped "ROLL" she screamed

I rolled down to the ground just as bright red energy was about to hit me in the head. I quickly stood up and continued on my way as more started flying at me again

My eyes widened as we came to a road "Where to?" I screamed at her as we neared

"Right!" she yelled over the noise and I went right. Spirits had a good sense of direction and people in general. Once they felt your energy, they could track you anywhere if they wanted to. The bad part was that people rarely felt them, or even saw them. I was an exception, however

My feet hit the dirt road and I skipped, rolling down the hill. Leaves and dirt went inside my mouth as I tried to grip something to stop the fall. I was suddenly flying trough the air and I supressed a scream as my back hit the water of a river

The force pulled me down under to the bottom, and I began swimming along. If I could get further away just a little, maybe I could escape

I kicked as fast as I could but I soon needed to come up for air. My face crashed trough the suface with a loud gasp for breath. I caughed and saw Melani in the distance, looking over the water. It was wierd how spirits could not go underwater

Her head swipped to look at me, her eyes wide. She rushed to stand face to face as her form began to fade away a bit. I frowned "Why are you-" I began before she interupted

"They are calling me back to the underworld" she rushed to say "I can't stay here any longer. I'm sorry. Don't trust your father. Exit the realm, and get out of here" she was almost none existant now "Take care, friend"

And with that, she was gone, leaving me completely alone
