We should have known how cruel the Gods are before we accepted.
He sat down on the grass-covered ground and leaned against a tree. He had thought that they all would get peace after the first war. The first time that he remembered losing so many people he cared about, so many people he wanted to be alive. Yet, the god's existence caused all of them to fade away. Never forgotten, but never actually there.
He felt horrible. All those people, all of it the god's fault. Then, as if they had not done enough for the gods there was another war. It was as if someone had a grudge against them. What had they done? They just did what they had to. They had not begged for this destiny. He certainly had not asked to lose so many of his friends and people he knew by sight and not name.
And now, after losing even more people so that barely any were left, Anna- nope. NO going there. She, a person he never got to tell that he thought of her as a sister, made him want to cry. But that was making it sound like they were allowed to cry. They were not. They fought wars and then all his friends at least most of them died and he had to accept it.
Right, that was amazing. Because it was totally easy to ignore that your best friend was gone. His thoughts kept straying back to the Gods. The cause of all the sadness, all the pain, every single one of them- him included felt. He felt anger flow through his veins.
No-no-no. He should not think like that. It reminded him of Lu- him the guy who he met when meeting Thalia. He had wanted vengeance. But the gods were better than Kronos. An image of Anna- she came into his head again and leaned upright and clutched the grass in pure agony and Grover cried, his tears soaking into the grass around him.

He did not expect his friend to suddenly pop up somewhere she certainly should not be. It would break his brother's heart. But she was there in all her glory, standing there with a smile on her face and examining all the designs there.
She, a person he took as a sister rushed towards him and hugged him. She looked happy, though he was sure that her boyfriend was probably crying up there. He was pretty sure she knew that and she just wanted a break, let her brain rest, smile freely and without the weight of the world on her shoulders. She looked free, happiest he had ever seen her though there was an undertone of sadness behind it, which was probably because she was leaving her boyfriend.
He certainly was not expecting that at all, as she rushed over to him, he was reminded that she was his sister but then his thoughts drifted to T- his elder sister. He had hated leaving her so soon, with barely any or enough time spent together. It was heartbreaking that he never got to meet his sister, depressing even. But the gods- they would not give a single ounce of care for them- Why would they?
They would not. Even if they should. All the demigods had bled for them, heck, more than what it should have been in the war had died for them. He was one of them. He'd met her in the war, then he had to leave, again. No time to say goodbye, say I love you for the last time. It was all in a hurry and the gods still did not improve.
She, who had saved the gods a million times over, bled for them, lost friends for them, without a single complaint died. The gods did not care to save her. Even her mother did not. What was the point in wasting time for your children?
He tried drifting away from the injustice of the gods. He was in the place all heroes wanted to go to. He had to just live happily there. He was broken out of his seldom thoughts by being tackled by her. He got his bearings back and Jason Grace and Annabeth Chase hugged like the old friends they were not fully happy as they missed a part of them but happy that they could meet each other. Jason smiled again- he at least found one of his sisters.
