"We have a speed dating party tomorrow. You wanna come?" a one girl ask another girl.
"Yeah, of course. There's no way I'm missing that" she answered with a smile.

"Why is my mom so useless? She's never here to pick me up on time" Ryo scolded, annoyance at the woman to be this stupid.

"Once you actually start looking around..." Light begin to say as he's walking along the streets.
Passing people as he goes, "...it makes you wonder if you'd be doing society a favor by getting rid of all these people" he thought to himself.

*Convenience Store*
Doors Open

He enter the convenience store as he goes over to where the magazines section was.

Once Light got there, he went and starts looking through them in front of him.

Until he found a magazine and picked it up, "Hey, baby!"

*Outside*

Outside the convenience store, a motorcyclist gang has just surrounded a young woman.
"Where ya goin'? Come and have a 'lil fun with us?" the leader said.

Laughing

"That's our Taku for ya. This guy could spot a hottie a mile away" one of the punks stated, couldn't believe that they found a lucky one.
The leader of the gang went and peer down his sunglasses.

"What's up, 'lil lady? The name's Takuo Shibuimaru" he introduce himself to the woman.
"Whaddaya say? Come hang out with us, pretty lady" Takuo said to the woman.
"Please. I don't want any trouble" the woman answered, pleading to be let go.

Chuckle

The young woman tried to leave but the gang won't let her be, none of them.
"You hear that? She doesn't want trouble" another punk taunted.
'Isn't that cute!" Takuo exclaimed as he went and grabbed the woman arm.

"Ah...no..." she said as the woman tried to break free from his grip.

"Let's go, boys. Strip her down right here" Takuo ordered and the two boys started to try and do so.

*Covenience Store*
"No. Stop. Please. Stop it!!! Help me!!!!!!"

Light just finishes writing that man name in the Death Note.
Along with writing after the name, the caused of his death.
But no one can see him doing this through the glass window, before the notebook was covered by the magazine.
"Now, what happen?" Light thought as he looked up at the window in front of him, wanting to see what happens next.

*Outside*

...the scared and frighten young woman, finally manage to escape from the clutch of the man.
By pushing the gang aside, footsteps..footsteps
"Hey, wait up!" Takuo call out with a chuckle
As the man hoped onto his motorcycle that was nearby.

Attempted to chases after the woman, "Takuo, look out!" one of the punk yell out at him.
Trying to warn him that dangerous was coming, but...it was too late!

Unknown to Takuo...
...a truck suddenly appear and came out of nowhere.

Crash!!

*Covenience Store*
Voices..Voices

People are rushing out of the store, to see what the commotion was all about.

But Light could only just there and only stare forward in complete shock, at the scene that just happened only moments ago.
"The Death Note...it's real!" Light thought in disbelief, couldn't believe that this notebook in his hand was the real thing.

Noise

Light instantly turned, to see that someone has collapsed onto their knees in shock.
So he quickly closed the notebook and got down on his knees.
Putting it down to the side, to see that it was...Mia?!
