Bang!..Bang!

Screaming!!

Light suddenly fell off the chair, thud!

Landing on the floor as he stared up at the mystery and strange being looking down at him.

"No reason to act surprised" he stated, that there's nothing to be alarm of.
"I am the Shingami Ryuk" he introduce himself to the young man.
"That used to be my notebook" the shingami stated as he gestured to the Death Note on the desk.

"God of Death?"

"But those are just myths. They're not real" Light thought in disbelief, couldn't believe what he's seeing in front of his eyes.

"Judging by your laughter, you've already figured out what you have is no ordinary notebook" said Ryuk.

Light has now calm himself down, calming his heartbeat which was beating a bit fast a moment ago.

So he went and grabbed onto the chair, pulling himself up from the floor.
"Shingami...A God of Death, huh?" said Light as he got up and straightening himself.
"Well, I'm not surprised" he states as he went and fixed the chair, upright.
"I've been waited for you" said Light.
"Oh?" Ryuk replied.
"I've already figured out that this Death Note I found is real. It didn't take me long. And now that I've witnessed the proof of its power, I only feel more confident what I'm gonna do" Light tells the Shingami.
"That's interesting" Ryuk hummed
"I see you have written so many people in only five days" he noted, seeing the pages filled with many, many names.
"Most are reluctant to write this much" Ryuk tells him.
"I've already prepared myself, Ryuk" said Light as he sat down on the bed.
"I used the notebook, even though I knew it belonged to a Shingami. And now that the Shingami has come..." he trailed off.

"So..."

"...what will happened to me?" Light asked, wanting to know what the Shingami plans were.

Hm?

"What do you mean...?" Ryuk questioned, wondering what this human meant by what he just said.
Then the Shinigami immediately realise, "I'm not gonna do anything to you" he assured him.
Making Light raise an eyebrow at this, "Huh?" he said.
"The notebook becomes part of the human realm. From the very moment it touches the earth" Ryuk inform him.

"In other words..."

"...the notebook...is now yours" Ryuk stated.
"This...this is mine?" Light asked, making sure hear the shingami right.
"If you don't want it, just give it to someone else" Ryuk advise him on what he should do, if he doesn't want to keep the Death Note.
"But, if you give it away...I'd have no choice but to erase your memories" he warned, telling him what happens when you give up ownership.

"So..."

"...are you saving that...I can use the Death Note all I want, and won't be punished?" said Light with a smile on his face.
"Let's just say this: You will feel the fear and pain known only to humans who've used the notebook" Ryuk explains to him.
"And..when it's your turn to die, it will fall on me to write your name in my Death Note" he revealed.
"Be warned that...any humans who used the Death Note...can neither go to heaven or hell for eternity" Ryuk stated.
"That's all" the shingami finishes saying.

"Now you have something to look forward to after you die" said Ryuk.
