"The same assailant who attacked 6 people at busy shopping district in Shunjuku yesterday has struck again, taking 8 people hostage at this daycare center. His captors include both children and teachers" said a NEWS reporter.

Reporting live from outside near a day care center along with some other reporters and a crowd of people.

"The police have now identified the suspect as 42 year old Kuroh Otohara, currently employed" he informed.
"We expect negotiations to begin immediately" said the reporter.

Then Light sudden comes up with a idea so he pick up the pen and start writing the suspect name down.
On the paper of the Death Note;

nce he finish writing, "Okay. A heart attack in 30 seconds..."Light thought as he place the pen down.

Looking up at the television," We'll see" he thought as Light lean back in his chair.

Crossing his arms, "At the present time, that's all the police are telling us" the reporter said.

"...that'll all the police are telling us" the reporter stated, all that he knows on the current situation.

"Thank you for that report" said the female announcer, thanking hin turned to a man.
"What do you make of this, Mr Hashimoto?" she ask the man.

"Well, one can only hope for a quick resolution" he said, hoping that this situation is resolve as soon as possible.

Light then look up at the time on the clock, displayed on the wall.

"Nothing happened as expected" Light stated, seeing that no one has died.
He smiled, "What did I expect anyway, the notebook doesn't work" Light remarked.
That this all but a prank, a harmless prank that this Death Note was just a normal notebook.

"Oh, well. I didn't expect it to, anyway..." Light trailed off as he picked up the remote and was about to turn off the television.
