"Hey Light!"

Ryuk went and bite into his apple as he was ignoring him.
Continuing to write in the Death Book, "I'm talking to you" Ryuk called out.

Swallow!

"What is it?" Light said back, wanting to know what the shingami wants now.
"Why are you working so hard?" Ryuk question him in curiosity.
"I can't afford to waste any time. I have a very small window to write names in this notebook. I only have from when I get home from school until I got to bed. I still need to sleep so I can maintain my average and stay at the top of the class" Light explained.
"Obviously I can't be sleeping in class, plus there's all the studying at home and at cram school. I can't let myself get too tired" he states to the shinigami.
"It will start to affect my health and my mental performance" he tells him, that this could happening and needs to do this wisely.
"If I'm serious about trying to create an ideal world that is free from evil, than I need to make the most of my time" Light said.

Then...

Knock..Knock

"Light, why is your door locked?"

"It's Sayu" Light whispered, instantly recognising the voice of his younger sister.
"What is it?" he called, wanting to know what she wanted.

"Mia is here and she is waiting downstairs. I just thought I should let you know"

"Uh, yeah. I will be right there" Light tells her with a nod of his head.
So he went and closed the notebook as...

*Downstairs*
"I'm fine, Mrs Yagami..."

"Thank you though" said Mia, assuring the older woman that she doesn't need anything.
"But if there is anything you need, please come and ask" Sachiko tells her back as Sayu comes down the stairs.

Mia and Sachiko turn to see the girl, "I just told him you arrived" said Sayu.
"I will, thank you" Mia tells the woman before she went and start walking up the stairs.
"I didn't know Light was inviting someone" Sachiko said in confusion as the two watch the girl disappear upstairs.
