Which caused the two to look up and turn, to see Sayu standing there.
"Dad's home" Sayu announce in a happily tone, with a smile on her face.

*Downstairs*
Ding Dong..Door Open

"Welcome home, dear" Sachiro greeted her husband from above, as below is a small step in the foyer....is Soichiro.

*Upper Floor: Bedroom*
"He's home early today" Light noted as his sister has already left the room by now.
As Mia just realise what the time it is, "I better get going. I didn't realise how late it's getting" she ramble on.
As she went to stand up and leave, but Light stops her.
Grabbing her arm, which made Mia look back at him.
"You should stay for dinner. You can also finally meet my dad too" Light tells her, insisting that she stays.
Which made Mia hesitate for a moment or two, before she answer...

"Sure. I'd love to"

*Downstairs*
Footsteps..Footsteps

Light and Mia just made it to the bottom of the stairs, to see the older man now sitting on the step.

In the middle of untying his shoe laces, "Dad. Welcome home" Light greeted his father.

"Thanks. Finally" Soichiro replied.
"You hungry, dad?" Light asked, who was currently tired from work.
"Yeah. It's been a long day" Soichiro stated with a sigh
Before standing up after taking his shoes off and turning around, seeing his son there.
But then he noticed a girl standing next to his son, "And who is this?" Soichiro asked.
Plesantly suprises in his tone of voice, "Dad, this is Mia. She's my classmate and our next door neighbor" Light stated.
Which made his father realise who this is, "It's very nice to meet you Mia. I've heard a lot about you from my family. You seem like a very nice girl" said Soichiro.
"It's nice to meet you too" Mia tells him back, bowing in respect.
