"I-I killed them both. I real..I'd killed two men. Those were human lives" Light said as he sat in front of his desk, with his head on his hands.
"It won't be overlooked. Beside, who am I to pass judgement on others!" he continue to think.
But then the guy realise something, "No..no..wait, maybe I'm wrong..."
Light lifted his head, "This is exactly I've been thinking about lately. This world is rotting" he thought.

*Outside*

"And those who are making it rot deserve to die..." Light started to think as he and his friends were in the city.
Staring up at the big screen again, seeing another criminal on the news.

"Someone has to do it, so why not deserve to die. Even if it means sacrificing my own mind and soul, it's worth it"

"Because the world can't go on like this"

"...what if someone else had picked up this notebook, is there there anyone out there than me. Who'd be willing to elimate the vermin from the world? If I don't do it, then who will?" said Light.

And while the truly guilty ones who deserve to be punished for their crimes die of heart attacks, the people who are less guilty but who still make trouble for others will slowly be erased through disease and accidental death. "But if you did that, it would make you, it would make you the only bad person left" Ryuk pointed out.
