I wake up, my head pounding. I could smell burning wood.  Smoke immediately filled the air, and I coughed rapidly.

I go to grab some stuff from my chest and my little stuffed Enderman. I run outside quickly coughing.

I turn around to look at my now burning house. "God damnit... Well, time to go to a village." I mutter as I start walking towards a nearby village.

~~Time Skip~~

As I walk into the village, the villagers stared at me in shock, surprise, and horror. No wonder, half my face is pure black and I have a purple eye!

I walk towards the Inn quietly, staring at the ground. I'm gonna have to buy some kind of mask soon so I can get rid of all this attention.

I walk into the Inn and ask the innkeeper for a room. He quickly accepts and hands me a key, well, drops it on the table in terror, afraid to touch my hand.

I pick up the key and run upstairs to the room I was staying in. I open and lock the door behind me quickly and let out a breathe of relief.

"I need to buy that mask quick..." I say putting my stuff next to my bed.

I pull on some clothes other than my slightly bloody ones and a dark purple hoodie. I pull up the hood and walk out of my room, once again locking it behind me.

~~Another Time Skip~~

I walk to the Mask Shop quietly, not getting anymore odd looks from the villagers.

I walk in and up to the counter. My friend worked at the shop, so I'm pretty sure she would understand.

"Hey Judy! What's up?" I ask, hiding the Ender part of my face with my hood and looking up. "Jade! How's it going?!" She says hugging me from over the counter. She was always the most hyper person I've ever met.

"I'm good, you?" "I'm doing fine and so is the shop! We have been in pretty high demand lately! We might have to move to the city if this keeps up!"

"That's awesome Judy!" I exclaim, my one eye widening. "But I have something to tell you..."

"What is it?" She asks, leaning on the counter. "Promise you won't make fun of me?" "Of course!"

I exhale and drop my hood. Judy gasps. "What happened?!" She yells, jumping over the counter and landing in front of me. She traces the initials gently.

"Someone... or something... killed my dogs and carved these initials into my face with an Obsidian dagger. The tip broke off, and got stuck. Since its Obsidian, its from the End, which means Enderman. So the piece turned my face Ender-like. I may like Enderman, but I didn't want to become one!" I explain.

She nods and calmly walks to the door, locking it. "What did the man look like?"

"I couldn't see any facial features, but I saw white eyes."

She turns to look at me quietly, confused. "White eyes... hmm... maybe later you can go to the StoryTeller and ask him if he knows about a legend with white eyes, okay?" I nod. "Alright. But also I need to ask a favor."

"Yeah?" "I need a mask that'll cover half my face." She grins. "I can do that. Lets have a look, shall we~?"

~~Time Skip :T~~

I had settled for a white, porcelain mask that looked glitchy and had red all over it, almost like blood.

Judy said that the mask was special, and would protect me whenever there was danger.

But, while we were looking for the mask, the Ender skin had spread near my scalp, and half my hair fell out. I wasn't surprised, but Judy freaked out, saying I needed to go to a hospital.

I had to tell her I was fine, but she didn't believe me. Now, half of my face is Enderman. The Ender didn't spread any farther, so I was sure it had stopped infecting my head.

I settle the mask over my face and look into a mirror. It fit perfectly and covered my face. I pull up my hood and look again.

Now the Ender half of me was completely consealed, and nothing showed. I thanked Judy and handed her some jewels, but she rejected, saying I needed the money more.

I left the shop, happier than before. I walk back to my room at the Inn and layed down on my bed, hugging my stuffed Enderman tightly, dreaming about two glowing white eyes.
