Chapter Four.
((A/N: Her mask would sorta look like the picture.))
"What do you mean, 'closer than you think'?" I ask, cocking my head slightly.
He opens his mouth to speak, but a loud explosion was heard outside.
I run to the window and open the curtains, staring at the destruction before me, again. "Why the fuck does this happen every time I go somewhere?!" I yell, frustrated.
"Herobrine is after you, remember?" "Oh, right."
I sigh and run outside, the doors opening and closing behind me. I quickly pull on my mask and run to where the explosion was.
I stare at the gaping hole in front of me. A large meteorite was laying in the middle, smoke rising from it.
I growl and jump into the crater, and wince. I walk up to the meteor and touch it, the pull my hand back. It was scorching hot. I sigh and blow on my hand, trying to relieve the pain in my hand. I put my hands in my pockets and circle around the meteor, looking for an opening. Suddenly, a loud hiss sounded, making me jump.
"Damni- Oh, an opening?" I look at the now open door before me, and watch as it opens completely.
I look inside quickly, seeing only a little flame and a note, which was stuck to the meteor. 'Why is it even in here?' I think, walking in. 'It would have burst into flames!'
I walk up to the note and read the bold, cursive writing.
"Dear Jade,
Do you like your curse? I sure do.
You'll be meeting me again soon, don't worry. But you're going to have to meet the other two cursed ones first.
I will speak to you later, do not worry.
And I hope you have learned to control your 'powers' by now. They could hurt someone, including you...
._. Herobrine._.
I growl and crumple the paper up, stuffing it into my pocket. I walk out and sigh, knowing I'm being haunted everywhere I go.
I climb out of the crater and look at the villagers. "There wasn't anything in there, apart from fire! It is fine." I walk away, pulling my hood over my face.
'Damn Herobrine. I'm going to kill him, one way or another.' I think, trying not to get more angry than I already am. I learned when I got angry, I turn into an mutant Enderman, so I always tried to stay as happy as possible.
It didn't work at all...
I felt everything go numb, as if that nerve on the back of your got pressed really hard. I fall to the ground and start dragging my way to an empty alleyway. Once I get in, I transform into a large, mutant Enderman. I tried calming myself down, but it didn't help at all.
I screech as loud as I can, releasing all the tension and anger from my system. I stop after about three minutes, finally calm enough to transform back human.
I felt myself go numb again, but this time I didn't fall, I just stood and waited.
I felt my hands shrink back to their normal size and what's left of my hair grow back. I slump to the ground, finally human again.
I sigh, relieved to have released all my anger. I walk out, adjusting my mask. People were still covering their ears, afraid the noise would resound.
I walk to the Inn and to my room, grabbing all my stuff. I put all of my stuff in the bag and walk out, keeping the door wide open. I walk to the check out counter and quickly check out of the Inn, not wanting anymore harm to the villagers.
I leave the village, praying for it to be safe.
Then, the whole village burst into flames.
