Ann: The most wanted man in Death Battle with the ugliest wanted poster since Sanji! Ragna had his arm cut off by his brother in a fire at the church he used to live in! Luckily his arm was replaced with the Azure Grimoire!

Kasumi: Um... I'm pretty sure the Grimoire is a book.

Ann: Nope! Turns out it's a bunch of Seithr that took the form of his missing arm after he touched it! Thanks to that, Ragna can attack with Seithr and devour the souls of others! He can even devour his opponent's dreams!

Kasumi: He was taught Ares Magus by Jinbei and has a minor healing factor. He also has a sixth sense and a sword which is also a scythe.

Ann: He can also tap into his Unlimited Mode to increase his power even further! But he better be careful not to turn into the Black Beast. Otherwise, everyone's doomed.

Kasumi: With all this and more, it's no wonder people see Ragna as a menace to society.

Ann: Next up is Velvet Crowe! This girl lost her arm after failing to stop her little brother from being sacrificed! But after turning into a monster herself, she got a cool demonic arm that can devour others and adapts to whatever opponent she's fighting against.

Kasumi: Not only can she control fire, ice, lightning, wind, water, and darkness, but she also has a healing factor and three hidden blades. Two in her boots and one on her non-demonic arm.

Ann: After going through hell and back for her revenge, Velvet is one force you don't want to mess with!

Kasumi: Okay, everyone's ready!

Deep in a dark dungeon beneath a prison on top of a mountain, Ragna wandered around without a clue where he was going.

Ragna: Tch... damn rabbit. Where did she lead me to this time?

As he said that, a Deamon started to approach him. He saw it and quickly got his blade ready.

Ragna: What the hell is that?

It growled at him and was about to attack, but quickly got stabbed in the back of the neck, onto the ground by Velvet. She looked up at Ragna.

Velvet: Hm? Who are you?

Ragna: I should be asking you the same thing. From the looks of it, you also know what that thing was.

Velvet: ... Well, whatever. Right now you're in my way. If you don't leave now, I won't hesitate to devour you.

Ragna: Fine then, but don't start crying after I've put you down.

Velvet dashed at him and swung her hidden blade, but Ragna blocked it with his own.

Ragna: Nice try. Hell's Fang!

He hit her with a seithr-infused punch and sent her flying. She landed on her feet.

Ragna: Dead Spike!

He then unleashed a dragon-headed seithr wave that Velvet quickly dodged. She dashed at him and swung her blade but Ragna dodged that and grabbed her by the face before slamming her into the ground. Velvet used a hidden blade in her boot and kicked him, stabbing the blade into his gut.

Ragna: Geh!

He lifted her off her feet and threw her but she quickly landed on her toes before letting her claw out. She dashed at him and swung her claw but Ragna blocked it with his sword.

Velvet: Take this!

She quickly got in close and went to stab him in the neck with her blade but Ragna dodged it and kneed her in the gut. He went to swing his blade but Velvet quickly jumped back. Ragna then dashed at her and went for an uppercutting slash.

Ragna: Inferno Divider!

Velvet quickly dodged it but Ragna followed it up with an ax-kick that knocked her back.

Ragna: Gantlet Hades!

He went for a seithr-infused hammer fist to the gut that caused her to cough up blood. He then followed it up with a seithr-infused roundhouse kick but Velvet dodged it and swung her claw. He blocked it and went to swing his sword again but Velvet quickly jumped back. Ragna's arm then turned into a seithr claw as he grabbed Velvet and slammed her into a wall.

Ragna: Be devoured in darkness and crumble!

He then started brutally infusing her body with Seithr.

Velvet: GAAAAHH!!!

She screamed in pain before biting her bottom lip. She used her claw to grab onto his arm and started absorbing the Seithr.

Velvet: I'll... devour you!

She then took her blade and swung it, chopping his arm off.

Ragna: Gah!

As Velvet landed on her feet, Ragna quickly grabbed his blade and swung it, but Velvet quickly rolled out of the way. He went for another swing but Velvet ducked under it and stabbed him through the chest. She ripped the blade out before grabbing him by the neck and slamming him to the ground.

Velvet: Die!

She then used her claw to start absorbing his body until there was nothing left. Velvet sighed in relief.

Velvet: Now... time to get out of here.

Ann: And Velvet won! Wow, goes to show how things change when you choose a winner with a coin flip. Anyway, let's see who's next!
