Junko: And Akane Owari, the meat-loving remnant of Danganronpa!

Kokonoe: The stage is set and the combatants are ready.

Junko: It's time for a Death Battle!

In the Kingdom of Vale, Yang was walking around alone, looking for some stuff to eat.

Yang: Hmm... Blake might like some tuna. 

She goes to a restaurant and comes out with some fresh meat, only for Akane to come out of nowhere and snag it out of her hands.

Akane: Alright! Meat!

Yang: Hey! That's mine! Give it back!

Akane looked at her and ate all the meat.

Akane: Don't see your name on it.

Yang: Grrr... that's it. You'll pay for that!

Akane: Heh, alright then. Bring it on!

Akane dashed at her first as Yang was already firing explosive rounds from her gauntlets. Akane was jumping around, dodging her projectiles before coming close to Yang and going for a knee to the gut. Yang went to punch her knee and they clashed, pushing Akane's leg back and she quickly went for a kick that Yang blocked.

Yang: Heh, you're pretty fast!

Akane: And you're pretty tough!

Yang pushed her leg back and they both went for a punch, clashing and causing a shockwave around them. Akane then hit Yang with an uppercut and sent her flying into the air, but she quickly recovered and punched the ground as she landed, creating a giant shockwave that knocked Akane back. As she recovered, Yang started firing Ice Dust at her. Akane was flipping around as chunks of ice burst around her. Se was about to dash at Yang, but felt something hold her back. She looked down and noticed her leg was frozen. 

Yang: Take this!

Akane: RAAAAGH!!!

Yang dashed at Akane, who punched the ice and shattered it before going for a punch at Yang. She went for a punch of her own and they clashed again. Yang then punched her in the gut. Akane took it and went to elbow her, but Yang dodged it and punched her in the face. Se then rapidly punched Akane al over. Akane finally caught one of her fist and punched her in the face, knocking her away. Yang slid on her feet and smiled.

Yang: Heh!

Akane: Hm?

Akane then looked at her body to notice a bunch of sticky bombs that all blew up at once. Akane was able to withstand them and fall to one knee as Yang approached her.

Yang: Had enough?

Akane went to punch her, but her fist was caught easily as Yang punched her straight into a small meat resterant that fell ontop of her.

Yang: Hmph. Nailed it.

Suddenly, Akane's eyes glowed red as she burst out the rubble with two meat on the bones in her hands.

Akane: RAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!

Yang: What?!

She dashed at Yang and went for a heavy kick but Yang dodged it and went for a punch. Akane dodged that and kicked her through several buildings. Yang quickly got up and fired several explosive rounds from her gauntlets. Akane was dodging them left and right, running towards her as explosions grew around her. Once she got close, Yang went for a punch and Akane blocked it with one of her slabs of meat. She took a bite out of the other and smiled as she used it to send Yang flying into the sky. Yang quickly fired shots behind her and propelled herself back towards Akane. She fired an explosive bllet that caused a huge explosion and debris to go everywhere. Akane looked around as she couldn't see her. She took a bite out of her meat and sniffed the air.

Akane: Heh...Nice try.

Yang went to strike her from behind, but Akane saw it coming, turned around, and went for a spinning kick that Yang managed to quickly block.

Akane: The nose... KNOWS!!!

She managed to kick Yang away, getting red of most of the debris. Yang managed to get up quickly. She looked up towards Akane who punched the air with such force it created a shockwave that burst at her. Yang quickly punched the air, making her own shockwave that countered Akane's and made a huge burst of wind between them. They both managed to prevent themselves from being knocked back as Akane managed to finish her meat. She tossed the bones behind her and dashed after Yang, who was propelling herself forward. Akane went for a puch but Yang dodged it and kicked Akane away. Akane landed in someones house and recovered quickly with a smile.

Yang and Akane both dashed forward as they went and clashed again. This time Yang went for another punch and Akane dodged it, elbowing Yang in the gut and getting behind her. She grabbed her by the hair and spun her around before letting go and sending her straight through a building. Yang suddenly burst through the rubble in flames. She looked at the hair in Akane's hands as her eyes were red with anger.

Yang: That's it... you're going down!

Yang propelled herself towards Akane who dashed at her at full speed.

Akane: You think you can beat me?! That's quite... ABSUUUURD!!!

Yang went for a quick punch but Akane dodged it and hit her with an electric uppercut to the gut. Yang stood her ground and punched Akane, knocking her back. Akane recovered and went for a punch so intense it burst in flames. Yang did the same and they clashed causing a flaming shockwave around them. They started punching each other rapidly over and over again. 

Akane: MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA!!!

They continued to punch at each other as the ground below them started to crumble. Akane punched Yang back and she heard beeping.

Akane: That again?!

She looked down to see the sticky bombs were on the ground. They blew up from under her but she instantly jumped out the debris.

Akane: It won't work!

As soon as she jumped out, Yang punched her in the face and smashed her into the ground. Akane got up and Yang grabbed her from behind, trying to snap her neck. Akane broke out of her hold, got behind Yang and hit her with a Suplex. They both got up and Akane went for a punch, but Yang went for one of her own and managed to blow Akane's arm off. 

Akane: Gah!

Yang started punching Akane over and over and over again, overwhelming her with a burage of punches. Akane caught her metal arm with her mouth and crushed it with her teeth before punching Yang in the gut, but the arm removed itself and Yang punched her in the face, knocking her back. As Akane spat the arm out, she went to strike with her other hand but Yang dodged it and went for an uppercut that blew Akane's head up. Akane's dead body fell to the ground as Yang put her glasses on and walked away.

Yang: Bullseye.

She got on her bike and drove off.

Junko: And there goes Danganronpa's first loss! And it happened with just one arm!

Kokonoe: At first glance, both these two had plenty of advantages over the other. While both can be scaled to guys that can dodge lightning, Akane is still much faster and stronger than Yang. 

Ann: But Yang can easily get rid of that strength advantage with her semblance. It's not a guaranteed win but their strengths aren't too far apart. The same goes with their durability. 

Junko: But even I gotta admit that Akane isn't exactly the strongest fighter. Yeah, they both have anger issues... but Yang's got enough experience to control her anger, only using it for a last resort. While Akane uses it 24/7 and is more reckless. It's why she's never been able to beat more experienced and well-trained opponents. 

Kokonoe: There is always the chance that Akane could overwhelm Yang first, but with Yang's wider arsenal and better protection... Yang would have taken this more times than not.

Junko: Looks like this time it was Akane who needed a hands up!

Kokonoe: The winner is Yang Xiao Long.
