Kokonoe: Some beings are dangerous even in the vast oceans of outer space, and these two beings quickly proved that through fear expanding across the entire galaxy.

Junko: Vilgax the Conqueror.

Ann: And Ridley the Space Dragon... Pterodactyl... thing.

Kokonoe: The stage is set and the combatants are ready.

Junko: It's time for a Death Battle!

Sitting in his ship, Vilgax was on a one-way trip back to Earth in another attempt at obtaining the Omnitrix. As his Bioids worked in front of him, Psyphon approached him.

Psyphon: We are almost at our course Lord Vilgax.

Vilgax: ... Good...

Suddenly, the ship started shaking for just a second.

Vilgax: What was that?

Psyphon: Someone has crash-landed into our ship sir. Would you like me to deal with them?

Vilgax: No...

He stood up, towering over Psyphon.

Vilgax: I will see to this task... myself...

He walked to the back, wandering through the halls of the ship before stepping onto a large platform holding several crates. Vilgax stopped in his tracks as the lights suddenly shattered, making it almost completely dark. He looked over his shoulder as Ridley was behind him but camouflaged. 

Vilgax: You do not want this fight...

Vilgax balled his fist as his arms became more muscular. He could hear Ridley growl...

Ridley jumped up at Vilgax, who turned around and caught him by the neck before slamming him to the ground. He was about to punch his head in, but Ridley opened his mouth and fired off a laser that knocked Vilgax back, sending him crashing into a wall and falling to one knee before immediately standing back up.

Vilgax: Underestimating me was a grave mistake.

Ridley flew into the air and his tail struck three times at Vilgax, who dodged two strikes and caught the third. He pulled Ridley down and slammed him into the ground hard. Ridley tried to get up, but Vilgax used the Ruby Ray of Ulo to beam a red light at Ridley, weakening him.

Vilgax: Worry not... for it will be the last mistake you will ever make.

As he started to approach the space pirate, Ridley stabbed Vilgax in the arm with his tail.

Vilgax: Gah!

The red light stopped beaming on Ridley and he took full advantage of it by flying into the air and firing balls of plasma out his mouth... everywhere. Vilgax used his gauntlet to make a shield that blocked them all. Ridley then fired a large plasma beam that Vilgax dodged. The beam went straight through the bottom of the ship, causing an explosion. Ridley then flew down, grabbed Vilgax, flew back up, and slammed him into the wall. He dragged him across the wall and threw him back to the ground.

Ridley: RRRAAAAAGH!!!

He started firing his plasma beam everywhere, destroying the ship. Vilgax took out his sword and used it to blast Ridley into the ceiling. He flew at Ridley and punched him out of the ship as it caused a giant explosion on the top of the ship. Vilgax then flew outside and landed on the top of his ship looking for him. He turned around and Ridley flew at him. Vilgax went to block his attack with his arm and Ridley took a chomp at it. 

Vilgax: Geh!

He started punching Ridley in the face until Ridley finally let go. Vilgax then took out his sword and swung it, forcing Ridley to get back. He went for another swing but Ridley swung his tail and knock the sword out of Vilgax's hands. Ridley then swung his claws but missed as Vilgax grabbed him from behind, spun him around, and threw him up into an asteroid. Ridley quickly recovered and fired a plasma beam that Vilgax flew up to dodge. The beam went through his ship and caused it to blow up as Vilgax shot lasers from his eyes at Ridley, who flew above the lasers to dodge them. Ridley then fired his plasma beam but Vilgax flew above him and activated his shield. Ridley went for another shot and Vilgax flew through the blast and tackled him, causing them both to fall down to Earth. As they fell, Vilgax started punching Ridley in the face over and over again.

Vilgax: WHY WON'T YOU DIE!!!

Ridley: RAAAAAGH!!!

Ridley kicked him off and Vilgax blew a heavy wind that sent Ridley flying before Vilgax crashed into a mountain, creating a huge crater into the ground. Ridley caught himself mid-air and saw where Vilgax landed. Before Vilgax could recover, Ridley charged up a blast and fired, blowing up the entire mountain. Ridley then flew over to that area and landed on top of all the carnage. He looked around for the body. As he kept searching, Vilgax came up from the rubble below him more pissed off than dead. He grabbed him by the neck and lifted him up.

Vilgax: DIE!!!

He slammed Ridley to the ground. He then punched Ridley in the chest hard several times. Ridley screeched and kicked Vilgax off him. He was about to fly away, but Vilgax caught him by the tail and slammed him back into the ground. He then lift him up again and slammed him to the other side before throwing him away. Ridley clawed at the ground and dragged himself back up.

Ridley: RAAAGH!!!

He flew at Vilgax and grabbed him, slamming him to the ground and dragging him on it before flying up into the sky. Ridley then threw Vilgax toward the ocean and charged up another plasma beam. He blasted Vilgax into the ocean and created a gigantic explosion. Ridley hovered over the ocean and was about to fly away, but massive tentacles suddenly came out of the ocean and grabbed him by the legs, feet, and neck.

Vilgax: Where do you think you're going?

Ridley tried to fly away but was quickly pulled into the ocean. He turned around and saw the glowing red eyes of Vilgax's true Squid Form.

Vilgax: I'm not done tearing you apart...

Ridley fired a plasma beam at him but it had no effect. Vilgax ripped off his arms and wings before tearing out his tail and wrapping two tentacles around his neck and legs.

Vilgax: Limb by bloody limb.

He ripped off Ridley's legs before ripping off his head and tearing his body in two. Ridley's blood floated down the ocean floor as Vilgax swam past it, not impressed by his victory.

Junko: You know, we've been hesitant about this fight because we thought we'd mess up on Vilgax or Ridley, but I think we did just fine. I mean, holy shit was that brutal!

Ann: Both these two were incredibly smart and cunning, but Vilgax was just superior in almost every category. Vilgax can cross the entire Galaxy in seconds and Ridley is faster than Samus, whose ship can do the same. Meaning Ridley should be slightly faster than Vilgax... but speed wasn't going to give Ridley the win.

Junko: Yeah, especially when Vilgax had the edge in just about everything else! I mean, his sheer strength and durability trumped anything Ridley had seen before!

Kokonoe: Sure, Ridley could deal heavy damage to beings capable of destroying mountains, but he was still not strong enough to survive the explosion of an entire planet. Meanwhile, Vilgax can take on beings strong enough to carry the moon and more. Also, remember Ridley's Plasma beam? It can reach at least up to  179999540.33 degrees Fahrenheit. Comparing that to Vilgax who can survive the heat of a supernova, which is a thousand times hotter.

Junko Yeah, you get the idea. Looks like Ridley couldn't stay calm and as a result, all the king's men couldn't put Ridley together again.

Kokonoe: The winner is Vilgax.
