Junko: There are always those guys who want to serve justice and take down criminals in the most brutal way possible. These are the types of heroes who will go to any extreme to make sure the bad guy gets what they deserve... even if they have to resort to murder.

Ann: And humans that murder equals lots of guns! Like Frank West, the Punisher of Marvel!

Junko: And Jason Todd, the Red Hood of DC!

Kokonoe: The stage is set and the combatants are ready.

Junko: It's time for a Death Battle!

In the dark streets of Gotham, the Punisher was driving his van after killing an entire mafia group.

Punisher: Gotham City. A rotten place filled with nothing but criminals.

As he was speeding through, Red Hood drove his motorcycle and quickly started to keep up. Once he did he went to knock on the van's door. The Punisher rolled down the window and looked down on him.

Red Hood: Hey there neighbor. Hate to say it but I think you're going way past the speed limit. Now I would let you go, but this van seems to have a bunch of illegal weapons in it. Because of that... I'm gonna have to put you down.

He reached for a pistol but the Punisher had already grabbed his own and aimed it.

Punisher: I know a criminal punk when I see one. And you're definitely one of them.

He shot at him and Red Hood quickly backed up. Driving behind the Punisher's van.

The van was crashing through several other vehicles in front of it without mercy as two grenade launchers stood on top of it, aiming themselves at Red Hood. They started firing at him and Jason kept driving and dodging as explosions formed around him. He threw three shurikens. Two of them hit the Grenade launchers and cut them off. The third hit the car and activated an EMP that shut off any mechanical use it may have.

Punisher: Tch!

Red Hood then pulled out one of his pistols and shot the wheel, flattening the tire and causing the van to go out of control as it crashed into a nearby building. Red Hood stopped his bike and got off as he walked toward the van, only for Punisher to come flying out on his Punisher Glider.

Punisher: End of the road kid!

He fired a missile at the Red Hood and flew off. As the missile was about to blow up, Red Hood quickly shot his grappling hook and caught hold of the Glider, flying with him and dodging the missiles. The two of them flew above the city and Red Hood threw his Bolas, causing Punisher to go off balance. Punisher crashed into the streets as Red Hood landed on top of a building. He stood up and went to look down at Punisher who had a rocket launcher aimed at the building.

Red Hood: Shit!

Red Hood jumped off the building as Punisher blew it up. Jason then had electric blades come from his arms as he glided toward Frank West and hit him with a dropkick that knocked him back. As Red Hood got to his feet he went to approach his target, only for the Punisher to shoot Spider Webs at him and pin Red Hood into a truck behind him. Jason tried to break free but struggled.

Punisher: Try as you might kid. Those webs are as hard as steel. You ain't breakin' free from them.

Red Hood: You think so? All I gotta do is think smart.

Suddenly, Red Hood dropped a smoke bomb that blinded Punisher as Jason ripped his way out of the webs and turned invisible. Once the smoke cleared, Punisher looked around to see Red Hood was gone, when he was really sneaking behind him.

Punisher: Trying to hide in the shadows are you? Too bad kid.

The Punisher pulled out a knife and swung it behind him. Red hood caught Punisher's arm and stabbed him in the abdomen with a knife of his own. Punisher grabbed him by the neck, lifted him up, and slammed him to the ground. He pulled the knife out of him and tossed it aside.

Punisher: I was born in the dark. 

He grabbed him by the jacket before punching him in the face. He then punched him in the chest, only to get shocked with electricity.

Punisher: Geh!

Red Hood kicked him back and quickly grabbed a nearby crowbar. He smacked the Punisher in the face with it, knocking out a bloody tooth. Red Hood continued to pound on the Punisher with the crowbar over and over again as the Punisher stumbled onto a car behind him. As Red Hood went for another swing, the Punisher caught his arm and grabbed him by the back of the head before slamming him through the car window. Red Hood got out of the car and went to elbow him but Punisher smashed his head into the roof of the car, causing a dent. He turned to see a toy store behind them and threw Red Hood through the store's door. As Red Hood recovered he got up and saw the Punisher taking out two guns and firing at the store. Red Hood quickly ran to the back of the store and took cover behind a desk in the back as the bullets destroyed everything in the store. The Punisher then took out a grenade.

Punisher: Sayonara.

He threw the grenade into the store and blew the whole thing up, setting the building on fire. The Punisher was about to walk away when a burning knife was thrown out of the flames of the building and stabbed him in the eye.

Punisher: Gah!

He pulled it out and looked up to see an angry Red Hood jumping out of the flaming building with a katana. He swung it and the Punisher quickly jumped to the side to dodge his strike. Red Hood went for another one and slashed through his vest, leaving an open wound on the Punisher's chest. Red Hood was about to go for a stab but the Punisher saw it coming. He dodged his strike, grabbed him by the head, and kneed him in the face, breaking off a chunk of his helmet. Red Hood stumbled back as the Punisher pulled out a shotgun and shot him several times in the chest. The bullets stuck on Red Hood's suit before blowing up and knocking him to the ground. As Red Hood struggled to get back up, the Punisher put on a large gauntlet.

Punisher: Alright brat... playtime's over.

He charged the thing up and punched Red Hood in the gut, sending him flying all the way into a nearby truck. Red Hood coughed up blood as he went to stand back to his feet.

Red Hood: Ah man... I don't even think Batman's ever hit me that hard.

Punisher approached him and slammed him back into the truck, punching him in the gut again.

Punisher: Well I'm not Batman.

He ripped the bat symbol off Red Hood's chest and tossed it aside He was about to go for one last strike before Red Hood suddenly jumped to the ground to dodge it. The punch left a massive hole in the truck and the Punisher took his hand out of it.

Punisher: It's pointless.

He went for a final punch down at him only for Red Hood to summon the All-Blades and swing them, cutting off the Punisher's arm.

Punisher: Gah!

Red Hood: Could've filed me.

Red Hood stabbed him in the chest before jumping back up. The Punisher quickly pulled out a pistol and shot through Red Hood's shoulder, but Red Hood fought through the pain and kicked the gun out of his hand before kicking the Punisher to the ground.

Red Hood: You said you were born in the dark? Well, I was molded by it.

He swung his sword and cut the Punisher's head clean off. Frank's dead body dropped as Red Hood fell to one knee to catch his breath. He suddenly heard police sirens and ran back into the shadows.

Junko: Talk about two men who just won't die!

Kokonoe: Both of these two were surprisingly close in many ways. Going by what we can gather, the Punisher is only a hundred times stronger than Jason. He's also more durable, but Jason's armor let him take more damage than Punisher could dish out.

Junko: While Punisher's adamantium bullets could get past Jason's defenses, Red Hood's own bullets could do the same. It helps that Red Hood also has better protection than the Punisher. Now it's true that Red Hood started doing this at a very young age, but he was dead for most of his run so that gives Punisher an edge in experience. But Red Hood has also fought people like Deathstroke who have just as much experience in combat, if not more than Punisher.

Kokonoe: And while Punisher trumps Red Hood in the overall experience, Red Hood still has a much better time dealing with superhero beings than Punisher. Red Hood even had an arsenal that countered most of the Punisher's own.

Ann: Yeah, his Satan Claw was extremely powerful, but not even close to as strong as the All Blades. His spider webs might be stronger than steel, but Red Hood's venom let him rip through steel with ease. Aside from that, it seems like Red Hood's arsenal is more versatile while Punishers is mostly guns, guns, and more guns.

Junko: It was still a tough fight, and allowed Red Hood to stand victorious.

Kokonoe: The winner is the Red Hood.
