Mukuro: Born somewhere in the 1500s and moving to Gensokyo at an unknown date, Remilia Scarlet is a vampire whose past is shrouded in mystery. All we know is that she's the head of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, the mistress of Sakuya and Meiling, a close friend of Patchouli's, and the older sister of Flandre Scarlet, one of the strongest beings in Touhou. 

Junko: Remilia has shown to be just as powerful and deadly. You'd expect someone like that to be the cruelest vampire around right? Wrong! Actually, she's pretty childish for a vampire who claims to be a descendant of Dracula!

Mukuro: Um... actually Junko, that was a lie she made up.

Junko: Oh... well that's disappointing.

Mukuro: While her appearance and personality are childlike, and seem nonthreatening, she has fearsome magical power and a reputation to match, being known throughout Gensokyo as the dangerous "Scarlet Devil".

Junko: Well yeah, she's clashed with Reimu on numerous occasions and that chick could take on girls that can lay around with Black Holes! She's brawled with Marisa too, and that chick is strong enough to destroy the moon!

Mukuro: Remilia is also stronger than both Patchouli and Sakuya, which is highly impressive considering Sakuya scales to beings capable of destroying Heaven, which is infinite in size.

Junko: She's stated to be the same vampire from the Vampire Incident, who needed several of the strongest youkai in Gensokyo to defeat her, before the Spell Cards Rule was created... a set of rules that don't apply to Death Battle. Even if they did... Remilia is one of the two girls that barely follow them. 

Mukuro: She inflicted so much pain on Mukuo that the immortal girl could no longer fight...

Junko: And that chick was immortal. But Remilia wasn't just stronger than Sakuya, but she's faster too! That's saying something considering Sakuya is so fast that she perceives time as frozen! Well, Remilia was able to fly to the end of Kaguya's corridor, which is composed of infinitely-linked pieces of the space-time continuum and is repeatedly stated to be infinite and endless!

Mukuro: Vampires are often said to be as strong as Oni, who once ruled over all of tengu society, so they should be naturally superior to tengu. 

Junko: Like other vampires, Remilia can shapeshift, turning into a bunch of bats or even into mist. She has enhanced senses, can fly with her wings, can summon demons, drink your blood, control the weather, control your mind, create an aura of fear, create illusions, and can survive just about anything! She's survived an entire village being erased and while Youkai are normally in existence through human belief, she's fine with or without something like that! Even a trip of crashing into the Ocean on the Moon didn't phase her!

Mukuro: Other Youkai have healing factors that let ten come back even if their bodies were blown to bits. Remilia herself has come back from being just a head.

Junko: While Remilia can always use her claws to aid her in battle, she can create the mighty spears of Gungnir!

Mukuro: Um...

Junko: Whoops! Not that one!

Junko: There it is!

Mukuro: Why do you have that first pic-

Junko: Remilia's spears are made of magical energy capable of stunning her opponents. They're really effective and she can summon multiple at a time!

Mukuro: Um... she also has a parasol.

Mukuro: It's not normally used for combat but she can use it to block out the sun.

Junko: Though she can already do this with her red mist.

Mukuro: Remilia can release and shape a thick red mist that she can spread over a wide area. The mist itself is, according to Remilia and Patchouli, composed of minuscule, highly-dense jewels that bend light more than ordinary water droplets can. The wavelength of the refracted light drops past scarlet, and it is diffused and absorbed by the mist, giving it its distinctive scarlet coloration and its other name, the Scarlet Mist.

Junko: The issue is that inhaling the stuff made plenty of humans ill and drain their life energy... and since it reached across the entire world... let's just say it caused some problems.

Mukuro: But her scariest ability is her manipulation of fate.

Junko: That's right! Remilia can apparently manipulate the very fabric of Fate itself! Though the specifics of this power have never been shown, this Hieda chick said that those in her vicinity seem to be followed by bad fortune, and it is said that she can greatly change a life with a single word. She can use this ability to manipulate the probabilities of her future, repair damage done to herself and items around her much quicker, and turn people into half human half youkai hybrids!

Mukuro: According to Flandre, Remilia can also use this ability to see the future. While it may just be her boasting, it's not entirely out of the question. As in the Touhou world, the manipulation of Space also lets you manipulate time as well, which means Remilia should have the ability to control time. Though not to the same extent as Sakuya and she may only focus more on the Space aspects of this ability.

Junko: With that being said, Sakuya used her space manipulation to erase projectiles from reality! Remilia could likely do the same. Oh yeah, her chains also have something to do with her manipulation of Fate.

Junko: Yep, those one's. Remilia can summon a Chain Gang from just about anywhere as they can follow and chase after her foes, quickly surrounding them.

Mukuro: Still, this wouldn't be Touhou without some Danmaku.

Junko: Also known as Bullet Hell, because how the fuck does anyone expect you to dodge this shit?!

Mukuro: Danmaku is the ability to produce a great number of projectiles at once or in quick succession, to overwhelm the opponent with the sheer number of them. Dodging Danmaku is notoriously difficult. According to ZUN however, in the Touhou games, when Danmaku fights do happen, they use it much more as a play fight, rather than going all out. Additionally, ZUN has stated that if the characters truly wanted to kill, a ratio of 10:1 bullets would not be necessary.

Junko: This shit is easily strong enough to destroy giant structures and devastate the entire environment around them! And of course, Remilia can do this and more with her Spell Cards!

Junko: She can fire thousands of Danmaku at once, summon bats that fire even more Danmaku, and even summon Danmaku that fire freaking lasers! Se can summon thousands of knives too.

Mukuro: She also has her Skill Cards.

Mukuro: Special abilities mostly consisting of her sending Danmaku at her opponents while also striking you with her chains. She also likes to throw her Gungnir right through her opponent's heart, killing them instantly. And she's more than capable of unleashing a giant burst of energy around her to take out her opponents up close.

Junko: She can make shockwaves and can use items like Sayaka's watch for stopping time. She can manipulate the wind with a fan, poison one's soul with a drug, repel wind and lightning with a Dragon Fish, control ice with a Frozen Frog, turn herself invulnerable, create Earthquakes, and much more.

Mukuro: Even without them, it comes to show how powerful Remilia truly is. She also doesn't share the same weaknesses as other vampires. For one, while she does hate Garlic, it doesn't kill her. Stakes and crosses also don't affect her. She's also capable of surviving getting her head chopped off. She's also capable of entering a room even if uninvited.

Junko: But with this much power, couldn't Remilia just manipulate fate and make it so that she never loses?

Mukuro: Well, as stated by Yukari, Remilia will never take the easy way out, even when she could do just that.

Mukuro: It should be noted that despite Remilia's 500+ years of experience, she's not the sharpest tool in the shed and is immensely overconfident.

Junko: While the sun doesn't kill her like it would other vampires, it does weaken her and will even burn her if she's in it for too long. She also gets weakened by the sight of soybeans. She can't cross flowing water, and she can't approach a broken holly branch or the head of a sardine. She's also vulnerable to spiritual attacks.

Mukuro: But she will let none of that get in her way, as she's one vampire you don't want to piss off.

Remilia: The moon tonight is red. You will know death.
