Junko: You know, after talking to Kokonoe for so long, I've learned that Blazblue's cast is pretty... unique. I mean, it's got giant red robots, squirrel girls, and werewolf butlers!

Mukuro: That butler is one of the strongest in the series, and he serves a much more powerful vampire... the current head of the Alucard vampire clan and successor of her father Clavis, Rachel Alucard.

Junko: Rachel is a vampire who believes she's the strongest in the Blazblue series, and for good reason! She's way faster than light and has clashed with both Ragna and Terumi on several occasions! Terumi being the same guy who managed to reach the inside of the Takamagakara system in 1/480000th of a second!

Mukuro: She's easily fast enough to transverse through the boundary, which has been stated to be infinite in size. Though the mere fact that she could survive the Boundary is a feat in of itself.

Junko: It's a complex space of infinite information dating back to the very beginning, connecting all dimensions, and it's filled with a magical element called Seithr, making it extremely poisonous to others! Even stepping close to that void will erase you from existence or fill you up with so much info that you turn into a Seithr-obsessed blob that lost its own memory!

Mukuro: It's almost impossible for her to forget anything anyway.

Junko: Hm?

Mukuro: Rachel is what's known as an Observer. Observers are beings who... well, observe reality. But Rachel is more than that as she is an Onlooker who observes the entire world. Onlookers have the ability to remember events and circumstances that transcend Phenomenon Intervention. Rachel could remember over 725 timelines worth of information, with each one being around 100 years long. This gives her at least over 72,000 years of experience in each timeline despite being only 12 years old physically.

Junko: It also might explain how she's really good with Sorcery!

Mukuro: Also known as True Magic, Sorcery is an Art and is the rarest among them. Unlike the other Arts which are fuelled with seithr, sorcery uses mana, the energy of nature, as its fuel. It exists outside of Logic and cannot be copied. The spiritual power of nature is taken by a practitioner and used as fuel instead of seithr. Those who are born with the ability to control the flow of life are capable of using Healing Magic, which despite its name, is sorcery itself. Like Nox Nyctores, sorcery causes scars on the soul, making those who wield it deadly and difficult to fight against. True to being closely related to the flow of life, sorcery has been demonstrated as being able to create life as the lycanthropes were created from it. Because of this, the species exists outside of Logic.

Junko: Rachel isn't one of these Leecan- whatever's but she still exists outside of logic given her position as an Onlooker. Like most vampires, she can suck blood but doesn't like to do so. She can teleport, control your dreams, control the weather, travel through time, see the future, create illusions, take control of others, and create massive shockwaves! Other vampires in the series could radiate an aura of fear and have full control of their bodies! And like these vampires, Rachel is immortal... but on a whole other level.

Mukuro: Rachel has a healing factor that is enhanced even further with her ability to use Phenomenal Intervention. 

Mukuro: Also known as Event Interference, this power allows Rachel to alter one possibility into another... pretty much overwriting them. For example, let's say that Ragna died in Reality A, then it is overwritten with reality 'B', where he does not, then a Phenomenon Intervention has occurred. There are an infinite amount of possibilities, such as the one where Ragna did not die but is injured. A Phenomena Intervention can be negated though, and Rachel is immune to those caused by another that isn't herself. She can use this power to freeze time to a halt or even heal her very existence.

Junko: Making her extremely hard to kill, of course. Though that's not even the worst of it. She becomes even harder to kill thanks to her Life Link.

Junko: Now how about we all take a guess as to what a Life Link does?! That's right! It links your life to someone else's! Rachel made a Life Link with this boy named Naoto... not the Persona 4 crossdresser. So the only way she can die is if you somehow kill both her and this kid at the same time!

Mukuro: Rachel's main... "weapons" are Nago and Gii.

Junko: Gii is the red bat thing that floats around with Rachel all the time. He's mostly used as a shield while Nago is the main weapon. Still, Gii can take a lot of damage, even from Azreal himself! You know, the guy who can literally rip through reality?! 

Mukuro: Nago is the sassy and possibly homosexual cat umbrella Rachel often carries around. He can take any appearance he pleases, such as a cannon, a sword, and a spiked parasol. He can grow muscular arms while in his parasol form, delivering staggering blows that can launch opponents into the air, and is even used as Rachel's Crush Trigger.

Junko: Yeah, while Gii is often used as the shield, Nago isn't excluded from this. Rachel often punishes both of them as they can survive being electrocuted, thrown across a room, and stretched and contorted to impossible shapes.

Mukuro: Nago's other forms include a traditional chair, a cloak, and a beanbag for Rachel to relax on.

Junko: But that's not all Rachel has up her sleeve. In her body lies one of the three Sankishin, Tsukuyomi!

Junko: While its original appearance is unknown, it serves as Rachel's absolute defense! Nothing can pierce the thing! Not even a Master Unit with Phenomena Intervention like the giant Take-Mikazuchi can lay a scratch on it! And that thing held enough power to force the Black Beast to flee!

Mukuro: Her dress can also be a deadly weapon, forming wings for flying and stabbing her opponents. It can create a giant spike, a big spiky dog collar that spins around, or an oversized kitchen utensil... that being a fork and a knife.

Junko: Every character has their own special ability or Drive... and Rachel's Drive is known as Slipheed. 

Junko: It allows her complete control of the wind, being able to conjure slight breezes to deadly storms and whirlwinds. She can move these winds in eight different directions and can use them to help her fly around, send her opponents flying, push away projectiles, and control her own projectiles.

Mukuro: Her special moves include the Tiny Lobelia.

Junko: Where Rachel fires a football-shaped seed that forms a lightning rod once it hits the ground. She can fire up to thee and once activated they erupt into giant pillars of electricity! They can also turn into bats called Beezle Lotus!

Junko: These bats serve as homing projectiles that can also be activated and turn into a giant burst of lightning! Essentially making them homing lightning rods.

Mukuro: She can summon other creatures as well, like George the 13th.

Mukuro: A frog that, once it gets close enough, can turn into a small electric field. 

Junko: She can also summon a flying pumpkin that can pretty much do the same thing once activated with some wind.

Mukuro: Then there's her Ivy Blossom.

Mukuro: Rachel twirls and places a coffin at her feet, which opens instantly upon touching the ground, unleashing a swarm of bats.

Junko: But this is still small stuff compared to her Distortion Drives and Exceed Axel!

Junko: The first Distortion Drive is Baden Baden Lily, where she unleashes a giant burst of electricity around her while also setting off any rods that she fired! The second is Tempest Dahila, where she summons a gust of wind that hurls a bunch of projectiles! From giant frogs to giant pumpkins!

Mukuro: Then her Exeed Axel, Gerbera Lute, where she unleashes a giant tornado that sends her foe flying while she enjoys herself a cup of tea.

Junko: And finally we get to her Astral Finish!

Junko: Where she uses her winds to capture her opponent and lift them above a large crucifix as a huge thunderbolt strikes them dead! Completely vaporizing them!

Mukuro: But even with all of Rachel's strengths, she has her own weaknesses.

Mukuro: As an Overseer, she's not allowed to change the events of the world despite holding the power to do so. If she does, her powers will be greatly weakened to the point where she could barely even teleport and could risk no longer existing entirely. It's almost like a play. The Overseer can look at the play all they want but are not allowed to interfere with the events on the stage.

Junko: And she lost a lot of her overwhelming power by doing just that. Yet she still never lets that tamper with her pride. If she wants something, she'll take it even if it means doing so by force.

Rachel: Gii? Nago? Prepare the tea. This will be over by the time it's ready.
