Kokonoe: In the decrepit wasteland that is modern civilization, it's not terribly hard to believe that the leaders of our nations are mere puppets, dancing to the whims of the powers that be. From the depths of rotten, diseased countries come two men crafted for the sole purpose of leading the people like pawns to their positions on the board. 

Junko: King Bradly, the former King of Fullmetal Alchemist.

Ann: And Solidus Snake, the former president of Metal Gear.

Junko: Homunculus VS Super Soldier, Fuhrer VS President, Amestris VS America. This is a battle that will decide the fate of nations, define the direction of society, and... was probably orchestrated by the Patriots all along.

Kokonoe: Either way, the stage is set and the combatants are ready.

Junko: It's time for a Death Battle!

Inside an abandoned military base, four soldiers stood at the entrance aiming their guns at the door. Solidus Snake approached behind the soldiers wearing a large, black cloak.

Solidus: What is the meaning of this?

Soldier: Enemy troops sir! We took most of them out, but their general single-handedly took out 20 of our men and destroyed our tank!

Solidus: Jack?

Soldier: No, it's-

The door suddenly crumbled as King Bradley started to walk in wearing his military uniform.

Bradley: I apologize folks. The door was in my way.

Solidus: Hmph. Just another common man. What are you waiting for? Fire!

The soldiers started firing bullets at Bradley, but the Fuhrer was already behind them. He glared at Solidus as all the soldiers were cut down and their corpses fell dead to the ground.

Solidus: Impressive. I didn't even see you draw your sword.

Bradley: Really? I'd say that was a little rusty. And besides, these men weren't much of a challenge to begin with.

Solidus: I won't deny that. They were nothing more than tools in my path to freedom.

 Bradley: So that makes you their boss. Then so long as we're enemies, you care to give this old man a round or two?

Solidus: Heh... with pleasure.

Solidus threw his cloak off, revealing his Exoskeleton suit. One of the snake arms went to grab Bradley who dodged it and dashed at him. Solidus pulled out his gun and started firing it, but Bradley dodged the bullets and swung his sword, cutting the gun in half before going to stab him in the face. His suit covered his face just in time to block Bradley's strike as Solidus swatted the blade out of his hand. He used his suit to strengthen his body and punch Bradly in the face. He then went for a punch to the gut that Bradley blocked. He knocked him back but Bradley stood up straight as if nothing happened.

Bradley: Impressive. I almost felt that. 

Solidus: Keep going easy on me and you'll regret it. 

He pulled out two High-Frequency Blades.

Solidus: Let's take this up a notch. 

He dashed at Bradly and went to swing his sword. Bradly took off his jacket and threw it in Solidus' face and Solidus quickly cut it in half, only for Bradley to already have two blades out to stab him. Before he could, Solidus got back using his accelerators, leaving a trail of fire in his path. Once Solidus looked up, he saw Bradley had thrown a grenade over the flames. Solidus quickly put his arms over his face as the bomb blew up, creating a huge explosion that knocked him back.

Solidus: Geh!

He rolled over the floor and looked up to see Bradley going for a downward swing at him. Solidus rolled to the side and dodged the strike before getting up and firing missiles from the snake arms. Bradley quickly dodged them and ran at him, cutting one of the missiles in half as it blew up behind him. He swung his swords again and Solidus blocked them with his blades. His snake arms then grabbed Bradley by the leg and threw him in the air before grabbing him again and throwing him to the ground. Bradley landed on his feet as the impact was enough to crack the ground beneath him. Solidus then went ahead and removed the snake arms, decreasing his muscle mass as well.

Solidus: I must say you're pretty good.

He dashed at him as his blades began to glow.

Solidus: For a Patriot dog who's only half blind!

He swung his swords and Bradley went to block his strikes but the swing shattered his blades. As soon as his swords shattered, Bradley used his fist and hit Solidus with an uppercut before punching him in the chest and knocking him back. Bradley stood up straight and stared him down.

Bradley: Half-blind? Hmph... you humans are so naive.

As Solidus dashed back at him, Bradley removed his eyepatch, revealing his ultimate eye. He took out his last two swords and swung them. Solidus went with a swing of her own and they clashed and knocked each other back. Bradley swung his sword again and Solidus blocked it. As Bradley was getting more aggressive with his attacks, Solidus remained on defense before finally swinging his sword, shattering one of Bradley's. Solidus was swinging some more and Bradley was blocking with his one blade.

Bradley: Is this the best you can do?

He went for several thrusts of his sword, trying to stab him in the face. Solidus dodged the strikes and swung his sword, shattering Bradley's other blade.

Solidus: I'd ask you the same thing!

He went for a downward swing and Bradley pulled out two knives, blocking his swords and pushing him back. Solidus' blades flew out of his hands and stabbed the ceiling as he turned toward Bradley again, who was holding his two knives.

Bradley: Not my preferred style but it'll do. 

Solidus realized he had no blades of his own so he cracked his knuckles and got in a fighting stance. Bradley did the same and they moved closer before Bradley quickly went to stab him. Solidus pushed his arm to the side and move behind him, grabbing him and suplexing him to the ground. Bradley dropped one of his knives as they both got up. Solidus grabbed the knife and they clashed blades again. Bradley then cut the side f his hip. Solidus winced in pain and as soon as Bradley turned around, he quickly stabbed his Ultimate Eye. 

Bradley looked shocked but quickly stabbed him in the shoulder. Solidus stumbled back as Bradley took the knife out of his eye and stabbed him in the stomach. Solidus backhanded him in the face and then kicked him back. As Bradley rolled back, he saw the sword he dropped earlier and grabbed it. Solidus went to dash at him and Bradley slashed at his chest, causing a bunch of blood to come out.

Bradley: The difference is nicer with a blade that you're used to!

He went for one last strike, but as soon as he did, the High-Frequency blades came down from the ceiling and Solidus caught it, swinging both the blades and cutting both Bradley's arms clean off.

Bradley: Gah!

As his arms and sword went flying upward, Bradley used his mouth to catch the sword and stab Solidus in the chest.

Solidus: Ah! RAAAAH!!!

Solidus took the pain and stabbed both his swords straight through Bradley's body. Bradley coughed up blood and stumbled back before they both fell to the ground. Solidus fell on his butt as Bradley fell to his back. Solidus pulled the sword out of his chest and stood up, walking towards Bradley, who started to look older.

Solidus: Stubborn geezer.

Bradley: It could be worse... I could be... you...

As Bradley shut his eyes and passed away, Solidus grabbed his blades and went back to business.

Junko: This was nothing more than a nice old battle of two old geezers beating the everloving shit out of each other!

Kokonoe: The match-up was pretty close. Solidus was surprisingly faster than Bradley and had superior mobility, though Bradley's agility could help him keep up.

Junko: Bradley also had superior strength and durability, but Solidus' armor allowed for better protection while Bradley doesn't even have a healing factor. 

Kokonoe: It's also important to note that his suit completely countered Bradley's Ultimate Eye, making it impossible to read his movements. Even among weaker models, those with similar abilities have struggled with the same issue.

Ann: Also, both of them were very similar when it came to the knowledge of military martial arts. Though Bradley had much more experience in the matter.

Kokonoe: Even so, Solidus' more advanced arsenal gave him the win he needed. His high-frequency blades were enough to destroy Bradley's more fragile blades and his Snake Arms were enough to keep him on his toes.

Ann: Bradley could win in most situations, but Solidus' speed, brains, and more advanced weaponry let him pull out the victory with this one.

Junko: And those dame Patriots couldn't fill Solidus full of metal.

Kokonoe: The winner is Solidus Snake.
