Ann: Sonic and Mario have had a video game rivalry for generations. But today we see who wins among their enemies... the final bosses of their stories...

Junko: Now this is how we start off the New Year! A way to show off the power and awesomeness of your Koopa King, Bowser!

Kokonoe: Please, you can't just have power... you need the brains to use that power and Doctor Eggman has the brains needed to do so.

Ann: Um guys? New year new chapter sooo... can we not start it off with the host fighting?

Junko: Yeah, it's more fun if the combatants did all the fighting. So how about this? Whoever's side wins gets to choose the next Death Battle! I got Bowser!

Kokonoe: A betting game hm? Fine. I got Eggman. The stage is set and the combatants are ready.

Junko: It's time for a Death Battle!

Bowser was in his castle with Princess Peach in a cage as he was sitting on a throne beside her. Suddenly, Eggman's Egg Fleet was heading towards the castle and he could see him through the window.

Bowser: What the?!

Bowser could hear the doctor's voice from one of the ships.

Eggman: Attention! My name is Doctor Eggman... bring me the Princess of the mushroom kingdom so I can use her power to rule the world!

Bowser: The hell?! Who does this guy think he is, ordering me around?! MINIONS!!!! ATTACK!!!

Eggman's army started firing at Bowser's castle as Bowser's own fleet started charging in to take on Eggman's machines.

Some Badniks broke into the front entrance of the castle and were clashing with Goombas and Koopas. Eggman floated down on his Egg Mobile and flew inside. Just as he did, Bowser Jr came at him flying the Koopa Klown Car.

Bowser Jr: I won't let you anywhere near my dad!

Two boxing gloves came out the Koopa Clown Car as Bowser Jr went to punch Eggman, who quickly flew out the way and dodged.

Eggman: Too slow!

Eggman flew at him from behind and began firing missiles. Bowser Jr was dodging them while being chased by Eggman. He flew past Bowser, who caught a missle with his bare hands and crushed it. Eggman nearly ran into him, but Bowser caught the Egg Mobile and punched it back. Eggman pressed a button and the Egg Mobile grew legs and landed on the ground, becoming the Eggwalker. Bower Jr then stopped the Koopa Clown Car and looked at Bowser.

Bowser Jr: Dad!

Eggman: Move along kid. Daddy's got a playdate with doom!

Eggman fired off a bunch of missiles at them and Bowser Jr flew away. Bowser, however, blocked them with his arms before firing a giant fireball from his mouth. Egman quickly jumped to the side to dodge it.

Eggman: Ohohoho!

He fired a laser and Bowser quickly summoned an earth wall to block it. He then jumped up and went for a downward punch at Eggman, who jumped back to dodge it. Bowser made a huge crater under him as Eggman shot a boxing glove at him, but the Koopa King caught it.

Bowser: Alright baldy!

He pulled him in and charged up a punch.

Bowser: It's POW Time!

He hit him with a punch hard enough to send the Eggwalker into the ground, causing another crater. He then stepped ontop of the Eggwalker and pulled out a giant hammer.

Bowser: Try dodging this!

He lifted it up, but before he could turn Robotnick into scrambled eggs, Mecha Sonic came and hit him with a spindash. This knocked Bowser back and caused him to drop the hammer. He quickly recovered as Mecha Sonic started firing missiles at him. Bowser punched the missiles away and unleashed a burst of lighting from his hands. Mecha Sonic dodged it fast and went for a Spindash again, but this time Bowser caught him, lift him up, and slam hm into the ground. He saw Silver Sonic dashing at him from behind and fired a spike from his shell, sending it straight through Silver Sonic's head. He then punched Mecha Sonic straight through the chest as Silver Sonic blew up behind him. He looked up to see a bunch of Shadow Androids standing before him.

Bowser: RAAAAGH!!!

Bowser unleashed a huge burst of flames and sent it through the army of Shadow Androids. But one robot managed to make a shield and block the blast. Bowser went to see who it was as Metal Sonic flew straight into his chest and knocked him back. Bwser went to punch him, but Metal dodged it and jumped up to kick him in the chin. Bowser stumbled back and Metal Sonic sent four bats at him that blew up in his face. Metal Sonic went to charge something up, but before he could... Bowser Jr flew up in his clown car and shot a fireball from his mouth. Metal Sonic saw this and quickly jumped back to dodge it.

Bowser Jr: You won't hurt my dad!

He dashed at him as drill hands came out the Koopa Clown Car. He thrust them at Metal, who summoned a shield to block them. The collision knocked Junior back as Metal Sonic punched his car with the back of his hand, sending Bowser Jr crashing into a stone pillar. Junior quickly recovered and jumped out the Clown Car. Both him and Metal Sonic got into a staredown as Bowser went to look around.

Bowser: Wait, where did that Egghead go?!

Suddenly, the ground beneath them began to shake and Eggman burst up through the ground inside his Big Arms robot.

Eggman: "Ohohohoho!!!"

Eggman had sent everyone flying back. Bowser pulled out a Super Bell and put it on his collar, turning him into Meowser. He clung to the wall and shot a fireball at Eggman, but Metal Sonic got in front of it, pulling up a force field that blocked the fireball as it blew up in his face. Once the dust settled, Metal Sonic had the seven Chaos Emeralds around him. He absorbed their power and became Neo Metal Sonic. Bowser Junior landed on his feet and shot a fireball from his mouth, but Metal Sonic swatted it away with ease. Junior then pulled up his bandana and turned into Shadow Mario. Metal Sonic flew up in the air.

Metal Sonic: Chaos Spear!

He fired multiple blast of Chaos Energy and Shadow Mario started dodging them. He dashed at Eggman and went for a dropkick, but Eggman used his arms to block it before punching Shadow Mario into the ground. He then got back as Metal Sonic went to stomp on Shadow Mario's face, but Junior jumped back quickly, dodging it. He pulled out a magic paint brush and fired graffiti proectiles that Metal Sonic dodged as he dashed at him. He went for a punch and Shadow Mario blocked it with the paint brush but was still knocked back. Meowser then jumped up and smashed Metal Sonic into the ground with his tail. As he did, Eggman dashed at him, and went for a heavy punch but Meowser blocked it with his hands then went to swing his claws. Eggman dodged it and punched him in the gut, but Meowser took it and swung his tail. Eggman caught his tail and started swinging him around over and over again before tossing him into a wall. Meowser fell to the floor as Shadow Mario jumped up to kick Eggman, who blocked his strike again and punched him straight through a bunch of pilars. Meowser then pounched onto the Big Arms robot and started scratching it rapidly.

Meowser: You want to talk about being as great as me?! Then be a man and show your face!

He pulled off the top of the Big Arm robot and saw that the pilot wasn't Eggman, but really just an Egg-Robo. His voice was coming from a speaker in Big Arms.

Eggman: "Did you truly belive that I was in that old thing?"

A giant arm suddenly burst through the walls and knocked Meowser straight out the castle. Meowser managed to cling to one of the arms of the castle as he looked up to see a giant Death Egg Robot staring down at him.

Eggman: To take the words from your mouth... try and dodge this!

He launched its hand at Meowser and smashed the arm of the castle he was clinging to, sending Meowser falling into the lava.

Eggman: Ohohohoho! Hm?

A Magikoop started flying around, sprinkling its magic into the lava. Eggman swatted the arm of the Death Egg Robot and knocked it away. Then the ground started to shake as Bowser emerged from the lava bigger than ever. He had become Giga Bowser as he let out a giant roar. Eggman went to punch him in the face and Bowser punched the Egg Robot back. Eggman went for a strike to the gut, but Bowser grab his arm and punched him again, knocking him back into the castle. The collision shook the castle and woke up Metal Sonc, who flew out the castle and knocked Bowser back. He went for another strike, but Bowser caught him and threw him straight into the Egg Fleet. He saw Eggman start to recover and unleashed a giant stream of fire at him. He got in closer and stomped on the giant mech.

Bowser: Next time think twice before messing with Bowser, the Koopa King!

Peach: AAAAAH!!!

Bowser looked up to see Peach in her cage being taken away by another Egg-Robo. He was about to shoot a fireball at it, but before he could, Metal Sonic absorbed the Egg Fleet and became Metal Madness. He fired multiple missiles at Bowser, stopping him from blasting the robot. Bowser walked up to Metal Madness and went for a heavy punch that was quickly caught. Bowser then went for another that sent Metal flying skyhigh.

As he did, Eggman started to recover. Bowser turned around as Eggman punched him in the jaw. He went for another and Bowser caught it. Eggman used the other arm but that was caught too and was slowly being crushed.

Eggman: I must say, you truly are strong... but that's not enough! Orbot! Cubot! Fire the Final Egg Blaster!

Orbot/Cubot: "Yes sir!"

Up above them, the Death Egg fired a giant laser that completely destroyed the entire world and a bunch of stars along with it. Bowser was flying through space as he landed on a small planet. He shook his head and looked up to see Eggman in a more advanced version of the Death Egg Robot. By his side were the Egg Dragoon and True Area 53, both being controlled by Egg-Robos. As well as the Phantom King and Metal Overlord.

Eggman: Behold Bowser! This is the Eggman Empire!!!

Bowser stood up and pulled out a Double Cherry, making four clones of himself. The clones laned on meteorites and jumped at the mechs. The original Bowser lunged at Eggman and knocked him into the Death Egg. He punched the inside of the Death Egg and grabbed the cage Peach was in.

Eggman: Oh no you don't!

Eggman pushed Bowser off him and flew at him. He tried to grab the princess and they both went flying through space. Bowser used his other hand to punch the mech over and over again. Eggman blasted Bowser away and grabbed the princess as the mech went into it's second phase. Bowser landed on a giant rock and jumped off it before grabbing onto the the giant robot. Eggman then sent a giant blast that went straight through Bowser's chest. Bowser took it and quickly grabbed the arm that was holding Peach. He ripped it off then hired at the head of the pod of the Mech that Eggman was in. The glass started to break as Eggman was freaking out.

Eggman: I... HATE... THAT... KOOPAAAA!!!!!

The flames went straight through the mech before blowing up, knocking Bowser back. He looked and saw Eggman floating through space with no more robots. Bowser inhaled and sucked in everything, including Eggman. He then grabbed Peach and held her up high in victory.

Bowser: GAHAHAHAHA!

Junko: Now that's how you start off a new season!

Ann: Eggman and Bowser were both surprisingly evenly matched. While Eggman was much faster and definitely smarter, Bowser made up for it with his sheer strength and durability.

Junko: Eggman also had the better army... but we arent the types to let outside help determine the results of a fight. Even if Metal Sonic could theoretically get the job done, it wouldn't matter in the long run. Oh, and while Eggman is smarter than Bowser, he's been beaten by guys who aren't as smart as himself several times in the past and Bowser has already taken on guys much smarter than himself and won!

Ann: With enough prep time, Eggman could potentially make a machine capable of killing Bowser for good, but without it, more times than not... Bowser's got this.

Junko: I've said it once I'll say it again! With enough brute strength you can get past anything!

Kokonoe: The winner... is Bowser...
