Gilgamesh is the king of Death Battle (Part 2)
Neptune: Alright, enough looking at naked Gilgamesh! Time for part two!
Ann: You were the only one looking though...
Junko: We still got a bunch of stuff to look into like Gae Bolg!
Junko: Gilgamesh can utilize Lancer's Noble Phantasm to negate the laws of cause and effect, and basically fuck with causality.
Kokonoe: In other words, the cursed spear reverses the nature of causality, the meaning of "cause and effect" in the order of things, to make it so the cause of the "lance being thrust" comes from the effect of the "opponent's heart being pierced" by it. It determines the opponent's fate simply through its use, an always fatal move that pierces the heart with one thrust.
Ann: There's the Sul-sagana.
Ann: A giant blade that burns as it cuts. The flames it emits are as hot as lava.
Neptune: Yea, it's big, but not nearly as big as Ig-Alima!
Neptune: massive blade also known as the Mountain Felling Sword, this is a divine construct that can easily tear apart entire forests simply because of its strength! While Gilgamesh can launch it at others, he can also summon this giant monster to use this blade for him!
Neptune: Yeah, that one!
Kokonoe: He also has barriers like the Sheild of Gods.
Kokonoe: An ornate domed shield believed to be the prototype of the famous Aegis from Greek mythology, it's durable to take without scratching a Broken Noble Phantasm, Kuroe's Excalibur.
Junko: And the much more powerful Rho Aias, The seven rings which cover the fiery heavens!
Kokonoe: The shield used by Aias the Great to stop Durindana, the hero Hector's spear, tearing six of its seven layers of cowhide but stopping at the last layer. As a result, it has been sublimated as a virtually absolute conceptual defense against thrown weapons.
Junko: He also has a shield that blocks an attack from all angles, a scythe that phases through your body to steal your magic power, and a scythe that phases through your body to do internal damage, but let's just forget about that. We're finally into the good stuff!
Kokonoe: Right. Gilgamesh has thousands of weapons, each can do different things. But we should focus on his preferred weaponry a bit. Like the Chains of Heaven.
Kokonoe: Gilgamesh's most trusted Noble Phantasm, even more so than Ea. It is a set of chains named after his closest friend and made to bind even the gods themselves. It is one of the few Anti-Divine Noble Phantasms, growing stronger when used against those with divine blood, such as Heracles, becoming more effective the higher their rank of Divinity. Against a non-divine Servant, it is nothing but a strong chain. Those that are caught in it cannot escape even through the use of a Command Seal, though Berserker, in his last moments, in a desperate show of his own strength, can shatter the chain and escape. Gilgamesh can summon Enkidu from anywhere he can reach through the Gate of Babylon. It can block attacks and increase its strength depending on how much divinity its target has in them.
Junko: But if his opponent has no divinity in them at all, the chains will pretty much be regular chains.
Neptune: And he's got a sweet ride called Vimana!
Neptune: A golden and emerald ark, a high-tech Indian Noble Phantasm that would make even Area 51 pale-faced, fueled by a solar crystal, rutilated quartz crystals, that burns mercury as fuel. It surpasses the laws of physics by traveling at the speed of not only light but thought! And it can easily outpace a modern jet while Gilgamesh is simply playing around! It has a pilot throne that can be withdrawn in emergency situations, and a control column, which isn't used due to interference with the operation of the Gate of Babylon, is placed directly in front of it! He freely uses the Gate of Babylon while piloting Vimana! It has a wide range of functions including ancient submachine guns, stealth functions, communications interception technology, laser cannons, biological weapons, and nuclear warheads!
Ann: He has a Curtain of Night, bursts of fire, chunks of ice, and a spell book called Dingir!
Kokonoe: Well it's more of a clay tablet possessed by Gilgamesh, utilized in battle to cast spells and summon wands from the Gate of Babylon. It's the same type of tablet as the Tablet of Destinies which Gil is also in possession of. Dingir means "deified", following the principle that anything in Sumer can be elevated to godhood by great deeds. They are gods recognized by man rather than other gods, showing a "faith by humanity, for humanity." it represents Gilgamesh's royal authority to punish even the gods, Ereshkigal stating, "If it is a king who has gained Dingir, he can punish even a god by exchanging everything he has to do so." Naming the artillery used to protect Uruk "Dingir" as well "shows his intention to have Uruk protected only by humans."
Neptune: It also lets him use one of his most powerful techniques, Seventh Singularity... Babylonia!
https://youtu.be/1WWc2iWaeEQ
Kokonoe: It is a long-range bombardment from the citadel of Uruk. A prodigious cannon fire that concentrates not only Gilgamesh's own, but also the total force of the people of Uruk that lived in the Age of Gods.
Ann: Gilgamesh possesses an innumerable amount of magical staves and Mystic Codes. They possess the great magecraft of the Age of Gods, allowing free manipulation of their powers without much consumption of the user's energy. Effects used in battle include fire-based magecraft, homing light attacks, and lightning-based magecraft.
Junko: Speaking of that, Gilgamesh not only has a bunch of Command Seals that he can give to Hakuno whenever he wants, but he also has the Holy Grail itself!
https://youtu.be/CyfbJ1iP6JM
Kokonoe: Self named the Great Grail of Uruk by Gilgamesh himself, it's an object worthy of being called a Holy Grail, comparable to the seven Holy Grails spread by Goetia. Containing a vast amount of magic, anyone who uses the Grail could easily become king, whether it be a goddess, Heroic Spirit, or human
Junko: Yeah, and like all the Holy Grails, Gilgamesh can use this to make any wish he wants, warping reality as he sees fit! He can even use it to summon his own servants to his side, which he's already done!
Ann: In the middle is Ushiwakamaru, the most famous military commander in Japanese history and one of the best swordsmen around! To her left is her attendant, Musashibou Benkei.
Junko: And to her right is fucking Leonidas! This guy can summon an army of 300 men to fight by his side! Yeah, remember that movie 300? It's pretty much referring to this badass Spartan right here.
Kokonoe: Gilgamesh can nullify the powers of others with the Power of the Beginning and he also possesses the True Nine Lives, a massive ballista-like weapon that utilizes an automatically guided nine-laser Anti-Phantasmal Beast ability. He has a sword that will arc back at the opponent to attack from an unguarded position, multiple weapons that will home in on his opponent, and he even has the Sword of the End, Enki.
Kokonoe: A pair of golden twin blades that are often worn on his back. He uses them in close combat in conjunction with weapons fired from his vault with enough skill to equally battle King Arthur. They have the function to turn the hilts ninety degrees to allow them to be used as tonfa knives. As a sword that can summon floods, it must be deployed for seven days as the volume of water increases each day after its activation. After the seventh day, it turns into the Surge of Utnapishtim from the Epic of Gilgamesh, the original tsunami that gave shape to the deluge myth of Noah. Upon invoking its True Name, Enki takes the form of a longbow by connecting the two swords at their hilts. It generates an arrow that is fired at the ground to act as a "tracer round" for his true trump card that is deployed high in satellite orbit above the earth.
Junko: The actual Enki is surrounded by six bolts that converge around the sword in a spiral to become a spear that falls toward the Earth as a "Star of Destruction". Upon reaching the area, it disappears in the sky and deploys a giant Magic Circle that cleaves space to summon the Surge of Utnapishtim. The tsunami easily covers the entire city only seconds after emerging, and he implies that it can destroy the world.
Kokonoe: And yet even that doesn't even come close in comparison to his true ultimate weapon, EA.
Neptune: Sports? It's in the game.
Kokonoe: What? No. I'm talking about the ultimate Noble Phantasm of the Gate of Babylon and Gilgamesh's most powerful weapon, Enuma Elish.
Kokonoe: Unlike all of his other weapons which may have been passed on to others, he is a sword that only Gilgamesh possesses. It's something contractually bound to his person, a very unique existence that can only be possessed by him, suitable only for the use of the King and making him transcendent. It's a cylindrical drill-shaped pillar made up of three rotating segments engraved with purple wedge-shaped letters that slowly rotate in an alternating direction, like a point. The middle segment rotates clockwise, and the top and bottom segments rotate counterclockwise. Spinning progressively faster with each turn, each time, their weight and power are equivalent to that of a tectonic movement. They swallow, compress, and accelerate the pressure of the wind to create a storm of wind and light of the same magnitude as Excalibur. Emitting gaseous energy from the joints between the segments, the generated air pressure faults, compressed and shattered against each other, simulate spatial curves to create an artificial spacetime dislocation that acts like a crushing torrent capable of pulverizing all opposition.
Junko: Its three sections respectively represent the great heavens, the great earth, and the great below. This illustrates the way of being of the World by rotating each of them in opposite directions, together they represent the Universe. Older than men and the stars themselves, it was worn by the gods at the beginning of all creations. Said as the only sword that doesn't exist in this world, this thing even precedes the concept we call "sword" and can't be replicated by any means. It's something that doesn't appear in any modern legends, crystallized at the beginning of the world in the Age of the Gods. It's the primordial sword that represents the updating of the works of a god recorded before the appearance of mankind, and the one that divided the formless into a distinct sky and earth in ancient Mesopotamia. It's said that the god Ea, after whom the sword was named, was the temporary divine manifestation of the stars. Ea molded the gas and magma surface of the Earth into its final form at the start of this early era. Many gods were able to create countries on the primordial Earth, Ea surpasses them all. He was a pillar of the gods that existed long before the rest and would have created the stars themselves.

Junko: It's said that the sword "knows the truth" of the world in which it once existed and, using its power, it's able to impart its knowledge to others. The primordial form of the planet before heaven and earth were divided was an earth filled with lava and gas and a hell of scorching heat and intense cold. Gilgamesh says it's the source of all the legends of the land of the dead. The memory of the time before the existence of the planet, a place and a time when organic existence was impossible, something that all organisms have in their genes, but which is no longer in their imagination nor in their memory. It's the first memory of life, genetically inherent and repressed knowledge that can only be shown to those who gaze at the sword. The "Slash Emperor" weapon used by Ado Edem in Angel Note is also capable of showing "truth" of a similar nature to that shown by Ea. In the bleak Plain of Steel, he glimpses the blue sky before it is stained with blood.
Kokonoe: But, Enuma Elish mostly presents his true power as an Anti-World Noble Phantasm. It cannot be said that the attack is limited simply to "the enemy" because it is not about aiming and it is impossible to discuss whether it will hit its target or not. Biting the laws of Space with his might, he creates a rift in space-time that stretches not only on Earth, but also as far as the Heavens themselves. It is a crack that distorts reality to pierce the very nature of the World and show the Truth of Creation. Everything is swallowed up and crushed by the void, and the dazzling light emanating from the Sword of Rupture continues to grow endlessly as it completes the destruction. It cannot be called a battle, it is about the wrath of nature itself. The center of the storm is not calm, but rather a hole to hell that restores everything that enters its realm to nothing from where they originated. Accomplishing the miracle of Genesis, the beginning of everything, the attack opens an abyss capable of crushing all Creation and destroying all types of spaces. Ea has the power to destroy anything that fits the concept of being a "world". In the darkness where everything has returned to nothingness, it only remains for Ea to shine like a star of Creation amid the destruction.

Junko: Even at its weakest it can create massive hurricanes and take out entire armies or even powerful Spirits like Saber Artoria, who's meant to be resistant to stuff like this! And you know what's even funnier, Gilgamesh still isn't at his full potential! He has something even deeper within his Gates, and that's the Mythological Mystic Code that brings Gilgamesh to the full power from when he was alive!
Neptune: Yeah, unlike most spirits, Gilgamesh was actually weaker than when he was alive, and even he admitted that it was a small problem. But with this, he could one-shot guys like BB, who was capable of warping and manipulating all laws, concepts, matter, and the space-time of the Mooncell's Reality Marble, which houses galaxies, stars, and living planets inside of it!
Ann: BB was stated by Rin to have gained the power to transcend dimensions, and become one with the Mooncell, even being able to destroy the Nasuverse, which holds infinite timelines and possibilities!
Junko: Yet she was still crushed by a full-powered Gilgamesh! Then right after beating BB, he beat the shit out of Kiara, a deity far stronger than even BB! Kiara is so strong that if she wanted to, she could take the entire Earth and put it in her-
Ann: Junko!
Junko: What? It's the season finale. I wasn't gonna actually say it.
Kokonoe: Anyway, Gilgamesh also gets a clear boost in speed.
Junko: Yeah, remember BB? She once crossed a distance of 38,000 lightyears in just a few seconds.
Kokonoe: Since everything on the Far Side of the Moon Cell moves less than a microsecond, we can assume BB did this feat in nanoseconds, putting her around 11 quintillions to 1.19 sextillion times the speed of light.
Junko: And you know what's crazy? It might be even faster than that considering the distance she crossed is actually infinite in scale! And even without the Mystical Code, Gilgamesh can cross a distance of 1500 lightyears and position himself exactly in Hakuno's position in an instant!
Ann: And if an opponent really is so powerful that he has to resort to this, he's definitely using the full power of EA-
Neptune: Sports! It's in the game!

Ann: Using this final attack, Gilgamesh plants Ea in the ground, causing it to spin rapidly and instantly shatter the area where he is fighting. He is left standing far above the opponent with three enormous fields of force below him. Picking up Ea and lifting it above his head, the grounds are directed at the opponent and begin to rotate, causing a space-time ripple that causes space itself to fluctuate. Calling out Enuma Elish and thrusting Ea downwards, the fields begin rotating to the point where they merge, dwarfing the opponent as they crash down. The ability instantly defeats the opponent, regardless of their status.
Junko: But even with all this, how the hell does he lose to some redhead hero wannabe?
Kokonoe: The answer lies... in his arrogance.
Kokonoe: He's extremely arrogant and prideful, only using his strongest abilities on those he deems worthy. And even then, he might not always give you his all if he chooses not to. This, along with a combination of PIS and Character Induced Stupidity, has all been what lead to his defeat. He would sometimes even reject any timeline that he sees where he has been defeated or has died, causing him to ignore details given to him by his own Noble Phantasm. Luckily, this was brought down a bit... but his arrogance is still through the roof.
Junko: Well, I mean... you wouldn't try and kill a fly with a gun, would you? In the world of Fate, that's basically how he sees everyone else around him... he also likes Artoria a little too much.
Kokonoe: But still, Gilgamesh's godlike powers come to the surprise of nobody, but why be a god... when you can be a King.
Gilgamesh: Fool. The only hero in Heaven and Earth who is a real king is me. The rest are a collection of mongrels.
