Junko: I think I'll be telling this one! *ahem* Hopes Peak Academy was more than just your everyday school. It was a school that only allowed the best of the best to enroll. Students called Ultimates were the best at what they do, even if all they were was simply lucky. But Hopes Peak didn't care about these Ultimate Nobodies... because this organization was really in it to try and create the Ultimate Hope for the world. Little did they know that the seed of despair had lurked into their school and used their little project to cause The Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History... the Tragedy!

Ann: And I'm guessing that this seed of despair was...

Junko: Yep! It was all me baby! Soon, terrorists and coup d'etats sprang up and caused the despair that is war. It wasn't war that happened due to some clash of ideals, religion, or profits...It was just war for the sake of war! But even I'm only human you know? So I had brought up a little group to help me with my quest of filling the world with despair. 

Kokonoe: And so you made a group called the Ultimate Despair... also known as the Remnants of Despair.

Junko: Kyahahaha! Right again! And while I've got plenty of muscleheads in this little group, the real muscle of the team is Akane Owari!

Ann: Yeah, Akane's life was pretty rough. The environment she was raised in was extremely crappy, to the point that she wasn't surprised if someone ended up dead on the street. Due to this, she never bothered to learn anyone's names, not even her own siblings... then again... she doesn't even know how many siblings she has... yeah her mom really gets around.

Kokonoe: But despite her difficult life, Akane would find her talent in gymnastics. 

Junko: She wasn't just good at it! She was almost perfect! She's super strong!

Junko: She's strong enough to take on Nekomaru and even Sakura! 

Ann: Wasn't that in the Danganronpa S game?

Kokonoe: Right. While it does take place in the Neo World Program, Chihiro herself has stated that she designed it so it doesn't change their physical speed and strength. So it is safe to apply that to Akane's strength outside her world.

Junko: And Sakura is literally the strongest in the series! A giant man-beast that can create shockwaves with her ignited fist, break steel, shake an entire gymnasium, hit a shuttlecock hard enough to embed it in a beam, and even throw my sisters hard the G-Force nearly knocks her unconscious! This same girl told Akane that if she stopped training, Akane could quickly surpass her! And she wasn't kidding either. Sakura managed to take on my Monokuma on equal terms! And after her death, Akane fought an even stronger AI Monokuma! While she was no match whatsoever against this version and couldn't land a single blow as Sakura did, Akane was still able to keep up and dodge his attacks, getting out of the fight without a scratch on her! 

Ann: She can destroy entire rooms just by clashing with Nekomaru and create shockwaves with her fist! Similar characters like Genocide Jack can knock back Big Bang Monokuma, a giant Monokuma that can tower over skyscrapers. Akane can send a man flying with meat and even accidentally snap Hiyoko's spine!

Kokonoe: She's faster than Komaru, who can react to point-blank electromagnetic waves. And she should be as fast as Genocide Jack who can dodge lightning. Akane herself can run up buildings and jump high distances.

Junko: But she's durable too!

Junko: During her first clash with Nekomaru, she managed to survive three building-sized explosions! And that's not even the first time she's survived bombs randomly going off! 

Ann: Nekomaru can kill cows with his bare hands and rip off the head of a large robot! Akane has taken him on and even forced him to get rough!

Junko: Again, no context needed.

Kokonoe: But what's more impressive is her senses.

Kokonoe: While Akane's hearing isn't as impressive as Ibuki's, it's still really impressive. And her sense of smell is even better than Toko's, who can smell Byakuya from miles away. 

Ann: Akane is like a wild animal. Too bad she's not that smart. Instead, she just relies on her gut.

Kokonoe: She basically runs on her instinct, and while it's not always right... it has helped her get out of tough dilemmas. It also lets her learn and adapt quickly, even when she herself hasn't realized it yet.

Ann: So she's got superhuman capabilities as well as animal-like senses?

Junko: Yep! But she's also got two big weapons!

Ann: Junko... don't...

Junko: Her big... juicy...

Kokonoe: Junko...

Junko: MEAT!!!

Junko: Whenever she wants to refresh herself all she needs is some good old fashion food and she's all fine! She rarely gets food back home so she's gotta big appetite. Still, she's got the strength to send a man flying even while holding meat!

Ann: Oh... At first I thought-

Junko: And she's got massive jugs!

Ann: Nevermind...

Kokonoe: Still, Akane may be an Ultimate but she's not perfect.

Kokonoe: As far as fighting characters go, she's got the worst win-loss record in Danganronpa history.

Ann: She also has a huge temper and a big love for battle, causing her to be reckless in and out of a fight. It also helps a faster... stronger opponent to overwhelm her and take her out.

Junko: But she's always going to move on! And if there's something she needs to fight, she's gonna fight it!

Akane: As long as I can eat and move my body, that's when I feel like I'm alive. That's all I need.
