Naruto vs Honkai Impact 3rd

Connection:

Both are pragmatic, calculative and manipulative villains of their respective series who started off as outcasts to society and ostracized by their families (Uchiha Clan and Apocalypse family respectively) as young boys, but their lives changed when they meet a kind and caring girl (Rin Nohara and Kallen Kaslana respectively) who acknowledge them for who they are

Both would have romantic feelings for said girls, even though they never returned the feelings but still genuinely cares for them

Both would also join them in a large scale war (Third Shinobi World War and The Eastern Crusade respectively) but tragedy struck when the girl they fell in loved with died for some unknown circumstances (Obito witness Rin die by Kakashi's Chidori, unaware she chose to sacrifice herself to prevent the Three-Tailed Beast from destroying Konoha when they return. Kallen died protecting a child from a Honkai attack, unbeknownst to her that Otto had released them to save her from execution by hanging). Their deaths caused them to descend into madness and turned to villainy

Both seek to create the world to prevent the fates that befell on the girls they once loved from happening again, while at the same time, creating a world where they exist  Obito plans to unleash Infinite Tsukiyomi, whereas Otto plans to erase 500 years of time in the world)

Both would end up leading a powerful organization (Akatsuki and Schicksal respectively), though Obito acts as Tobi and lets Pain/Nagato take control while Otto serves as the Overseer

Both went to great lengths to accomplish their goals; whether they'd be allying themselves with the bigger bads (Madara Uchiha and Kevin Kaslana respectively), or orchestrating events that resulted in thousands of casualties (Obito orchestrated Kurama's attack on Konoha and instigating the Fourth Shinobi World War. Otto instigated the First, Second and Fourth Honkai Eruptions.) in which resulted in the story of the series' main protagonists (Naruto Uzumaki and Kiana Kaslana respectively)

Both would gain both new powers (Void Archives and Ten-Tails respectively) in which they merge with and received a new all-powerful form as a result (Ten-Tails Jinchuriki Obito and False God Otto respectively)

Both would be killed in their finale moments in opposite ways (Obito took Kaguya's All-Killing Ash Bones meant for Naruto while using Kamui to protect Kakashi, whereas Otto would be killed by Kiana and Durandal). But their deaths weren't in vain as they still got what they wanted (Obito was reunited with Rin in the afterlife, while Otto used the Imaginary Tree to create infinite possibilities for Kallen to survive)
