As January drew to a close, Frank and Hazel invited the demigod gang over for a - not sleepover as such - but an overnight *It was a glorified sleepover, ok?!* ... a sleepover. Everyone agreed as it was an opportunity to unwind.

So there they found themselves, in their pyjamas, and sitting or reclining on numerous cushions and blankets, when Hazel asked everyone if they could play a game of truth or dare. The group consented, seeing no harm in the activity. Hazel grinned and began:

"hmmm..." she looked around the room, assessing the people in it for her victim. "Will!" she decided. "Truth or dare?..." 

"Truth" Hazel pouted in disappointment but thought of a response soon enough. 

"Was Nico your first?" Will blushed beet red at that, his freckles a stark contrast to the dusty crimson of his skin. 

"Well, I..." he floundered. "Ok, fine! Yes, yes he was" she nodded in triumph.  "Right," Will declared, his blush dying down. "Percy, truth or dare?" 

"What do you take me for Will? Dare!"

"Alright then," Will smirked devilishly. "I dare you to kiss the prettiest girl in this room other than Annabeth"

Surprisingly, he didn't go for Piper. Or Hazel. Or even Calypso. Oh no. Percy crawled over to a raven-haired boy with his boyfriend's arms wrapped around his bloated waist. Percy touched a soft, feather-light kiss to Nico's lips. Perseus Jackson, when asked to kiss a girl, kissed a very pregnant Nico di Angelo. He really was a seaweed brain. Both Nico and Will were shocked into silence. Percy chuckled and backed away. 

"One might argue that Neeks here is in a condition similar to that of a female". he stated before moving on. "Leo, truth or dare?"...

And so the evening advanced until Frank asked Calypso:

"Truth or dare?"

"Truth," she said firmly. 

"Tell us one of your couples secrets!" she blanched and looked at Leo. They seemed to have a mental argument before Leo nodded and took Calypso's hand in his calloused ones. 

"Leo and I have been meaning to tell you this for a while, but..." she trailed off. Leo picked up for her. 

"Guys... we're getting a motorbi- OW!" Calypso swatted his knee. He gave a nervous chuckle before his face went grave. "Guys, Callie here" he put a hand on her thigh. "ispregnantwithourbaby" he blurted out. 

"WHAT!?!?!" Piper and Jason shouted before laughing. Everyone looked at them puzzled. 

"Looks like your baby is going to have a playmate!" Piper explained, rubbing her stomach lovingly. 

"You're pregnant too?!" Calypso exclaimed. Jason nodded, smiling proudly. Suddenly Frank gave a bark of laughter. 

"This was not what (wheeze) I was (wheeze) expecting!" he got out between chuckles. Soon Will joined in, snickering. Before long, everyone was laughing, but none of them knew why. 

"Well!" Annabeth managed to get her laughter under control first. "This has been an eventful evening! But I'm beat. Can we sleep?" A murmur of agreement rumbled through the assembled as they realized how tired they all were. One by one, they began to fall asleep, soft snores and snuffles filling the room until only Will and Nico were awake. 

"There's gonna be loads of demi-babies running around underfoot soon" Will mumbled at a dropped eyed Nico. 

"Mmmmh" he grunted in response before a soft snore escaped his pink lips. Will smiled and kissed his boyfriend softly before spooning him, surprised to see that he could still fit his arms around his lover's bulging baby belly. And that was his last thought before drifting off into a dreamless sleep.
