Death and Destruction

A long time ago, inside of Universe 2, in the ancient times when the goddess of destruction was young in her reign, a community of people had gathered, those that knew her well before her time, began to praise and obey her very will, carrying out her orders without question, proving themselves to possess a loyalty that is undying and absolute. However, one member of the community...the desire to remain and exist with her at all times was immensely great, far greater than everyone else, to the point that he made a cult with thousands of his friends, in an attempt to remain existing with her at all times, and never disappear. They began to try and make a god of their own, without the knowledge of the goddess.

They cult began small at first, but then it grew to the thousands, and then to a million. And when that happened, they began to make their own brand to of magic to make a god of their own, or at least make the most loyal and absolute into one, so that he can be with her. But something went wrong, the ritual, while went as planned, affected the leader, and while he became a god, the mere summoning of his new status was too terrible, and it had gotten his own cult killed. When this happened, he felt into despair and self-hatred, wanting to get rid of the curse that he had made. But he loved for a very long time, for many 100,000 years, until he was killed by a mortal, who possesses power that is on a godlike level of his own. When that happened, the curse passed onto the strong mortal, who used it to remain unchallenged and all-powerful against his opponents for many thousand centuries laters, until he was killed by another mortal, who later became the same, but did not enjoy this power at all, as the memories of his previous reincarnations remain inside of his mind, as he remained this way, before he himself was killed 1,000 years later, with one of the reincarnations finding and creating the Underworld, where he would be able to hunt down and reap the corrupted souls that dare go inside of the plane of existence and cause havoc, as well as to separate and spare the pure souls from the destruction that dares happen.

The cycle of death and reincarnation kept on going, until it finally reached to that a young boy. In the case of the young boy, who was a young adult that would remained in the year of behind 20, he was instead granted and passed the curse onto himself by sheer accident upon meeting the reincarnating deity, rather than kill him, but even just passing the power onto someone is enough to kill them. He remained in the status as what he calls a God Of Death, for 10,000 years, the youngest incarnation of the hosts to ever exist, as he remains in the underworld, and rarely comes out, for he dares to not accidentally kill someone that is innocent and pure with his own cursed touch that decays and kills all that he sees. He is miserable, and yet, he will make sure that it will not be passed on to everyone or anyone else. He saw the memories of his past inheritors, and many of them suffered, with very few that enjoyed it. He will make sure, he is the last God of Death to ever exist.

Now...

Within the depths of Universe 2, there exists a realm that is completely the opposite of the what it is like above. While the main realm of Universe 2 is very beautiful and pretty beyond just mere words alone, the realm that lies beneath it, the Underworld, is the very opposite of it. Buildings are shown to be ruined, the sky is red, and the ground is black with decayed plants. Inside, black so where's are shown to be floating all over the place, as if they are the reason that the land is corrupted, although truth be told, they are not the reason, just part of the land itself. Suddenly, a scythe had slashed at them, the souls dissipated, and another scythe slashed at more of them, causing them to disappear and be permanently gone. One of them tried to get away, but a hand grabbed out and crushed the sphere with his bare hands, as the sphere shattered to pieces. The person responsible for this is a male at the height of 5'4. The man resembles a human with his skin and his face, which is partially obscured by a black hood, which is a part of his attire involving a black robe of some sort that is torn at some parts, his eyes are covered in nothing but shadows, as his scythe, the material resembling silver, the heel having a skull of sorts with the scythe blade coming out of the agape mouth, the teeth of the skull itself being sharp of its own.

The entity looked around and sighed a bit, as he sat down onto the ground, as he felt a little bit tired from all that is happening. He really just wants a break from this, but he can't go outside, and not touch anything that is living and even alive.

He sighed a little bit, as he spoke out.

"10,000 years, I have kept on doing this. 10,000 years, making sure that no one else takes this position that I am in, this curse, so they do not suffer as I do. It feels so...irritating to be in this position. I do not understand why this has to be the case, for this power to be made."

Although he sounded rather young, his tone is tired and it made him sound to be a little bit more older than he lets on. As he said that, the man looks and he sees that they are gathering around for something. He did not know why, but he is going to make sure that they do not do something that is insane and drastic. Raising his scythe, he rushes up to the corrupted souls, as he goes in to try and slice them. As he did, while he did get a bit of them, all of a sudden, a bright flash of light occurs, which made the Death God look around in order to see what they are doing, while also attempting to keep on slashing them, so that they do not get away from him.

But as he kept on going, he unknowingly slashed at something that is now suddenly in front of him. He looked...and he saw a tree. It did not take long for him to realize what was going to happen next. Suddenly, around him, all plantlife began to wither and die, the grass blackened, the flowers wilted and began to fall apart, the leaves on the trees fell off and crumbled to dust, as the trunks began to become ash black and weak, as it then began to break apart and kill the plant life that surrounds him. Not wanting to do more, the man flies up into the air as fast as he can, so that he does not accidentally kill off the plants continuously. He looks and saw that the corrupted souls are going into many different directions, almost like they seem to want to wreak havoc elsewhere. The man narrowed his eyes, as he spoke out.

"You cannot be serious. I spent my whole life ensuring that nothing bad happens, that they do not come out, and now this happens."

He then crossed his arms, scythe in hand, as he spoke out.

"I cannot tolerate with this anymore, I need to deal with them before anyone else notices. They all...must...die."

He looks up, and spoke out to himself.

"With the amount of the corrupted spirits going into many different directions, it will take me months in order to clean this up. I just hope that I can get rid of them before that they can cause far too much damage."

Months later...

The Death God began to go all over the entire world, as he began to try and clean up the mess that he is in, doing the best that he can in order to kill and reap the corrupted souls that had began to invade a lot of places. They did cause a bit of trouble, but he was able to deal with them before it got worse.

Of course, although he had been able to take care of them, he did leave behind one mistake that made him noticeable. Because of his powers to passively kill any weak plant life that comes off him his steps, it made it very clear to many that there was someone, mainly him, that exists. And because of this, it caught the attention of a certain Goddess of Destruction and her Angel servant, who took notice of this strange occurrence that is happening all over the place.

Inside of palace that seems to be inside of a location that is far away from the realm of mortals, there is shown to be a female figure that is walking around back and forth, as she has been witnessing the death and decay of the plants that is happening to the world that she is liking, that has her fighters from a certain tournament that she once fought and lost in, and right now it is making a little bit of a mess on her end.

"I do not get this. Who is causing such a terrible and ugly stain inside of the world that I treasure a lot? That is unacceptable, I will not tolerate this!"

As the female figure spoke out, someone arrived, and he is shown to be someone of great importance to the female that is pacing around in such confusion.

Arriving inside of the palace is a tall humanoid figure with blue skin, wearing yellow clothes, and has a staff that has a floating sphere and a ring around it. He lands in front of the female that is pacing around, as he spoke out.

"My lady Heles. I have come to speak to you."

This made the female turn around, and she stepped into some light, as she revealed her appearance to her servant. It is a female that is shown to be extraordinarily beautiful, almost in an Egyptian-like appearance, possessing a very slender yet curvaceous in frame with light brown skin, large green eyes, along with dark turquoise eye shadow, some red lipstick, and black hair with gold beads at the end. Her appearance resembles a mixture of Nefertiti and Cleopatra and wears what appears to be ancient Egyptian apparel: a headdress, a dark turquoise sash, and a white skirt.

This is none other than the Goddess of Destruction of Universe 2, Heles. She is the only female God of Destruction to exist, as well as being one of the more benevolent Gods compared to the other universes, with only very few that are more benevolent than her. She is someone that seems anything in beautiful as good but anything ugly as bad. But despite this, she has a good heart under it all, even if she is not a flawless goddess on her own. Heles looked at her servant, as she shook out to him.

"Oh, Sour. Have you found anything that became the reason why the lands of this world are being affected the way they are?"

The angel servant, Sour, nodded his head, as he thanked spoke out to her.

"Of course, I have found something rather intriguing that I do not think that I have seen before. And I manage to confirm it to be the reason as to why it has happened in the first place."

Heles nodded her head, as she goes up to him and spoke out.

"Do you mind showing to me what it is that has made this mess?"

Sour nodded his head, as he held his staff up so she can see it, as he then spoke out.

"Of course. Here you go."

The staff glowed, and she looked to see what it was that Sour had seen, and it made her surprised. A scythe was shown to be slashing at some stuff, as it cuts down some strange black orbs that are causing a lot of messes elsewhere. The individual in this then made a slash of what seems to be black ki, as it took down an entire group of shadowy sphere entities, as he landed onto the ground, which made the grass decay around him, the same way that she saw the areas as.

Heles looked downright confused at the sight, as she spoke out.

"Who is that? I've never seen someone like him before."

Sour looks and spoke out.

"Honestly, even I have no idea at this. I have never seen someone like him before. In the many millions of years of serving you for so long, this is someone that has never been seen before by the both of us. From what it looks, it seems that he possesses a level of control over what seems to be decay and rot, like he is death to those that are living to him."

Heles looked intrigued, as she spoke out.

"Death...you say?"

Heles then walked to her throne and sat into it, as she then spoke out to him.

"Well...in all of my years of living, I never thought that someone such as him could reside within our home universe...perhaps we should try and speak to him, if we can."

This made Sour look at her with a somewhat concerned look onto his face, as he spoke.

"My last Heles, are you sure you want to do this? You saw how he fights and what he can do, right?"

Heles looks at him with a smile on her face, as she spoke out to him.

"Do not worry, Sour. He can try to kill me if he can, should he ever be aggressive, but should that ever happen, than I will destroy him myself. After all, I will be ready should that ever occur...especially since I will have you."

Sour looks at Heles and nodded his head, and has a tiny smile present onto his face, although he did not show it, as he spoke out.

"You give me far more credit than I expect. More faith in me than I could ever imagine."

Heles smiled a bit at Sour, as she thanked spoke out.

"What more is there to say to my servant and teacher."

Sour closed his eyes a bit with a smile, as he spoke out.

"Of course. Whatever you want, my lady, I am with you."

Heles nodded, as she stood up, now having made her mind on this, as she finally decided to make the choice. She is going to find the man and know who he is and why he is constantly killing plant-life inside of the world that she is very fond of.

Heles looks up and spoke out.

"Let us go and visit this man."

Elsewhere...

A scythe is shown to be slashing at the blackened entities that are constantly attacking him, as he almost looked annoyed at what is going on. He narrowed his eyes at the sight, as he spoke out rather irritatedly.

"I cannot believe that I have stay in the outside world for months, traveling as much as I can so that I can fix this, despite the vow that I had made to myself in not going into the outside world and make a mess."

He held his face and shook his head, clearly annoyed at this, as he then spoke out to himself, unhappily.

"I really I can get rid of this quickly before this leads to unwanted attention."

As he looked around, he then looks up to see that the corrupted souls are beginning to mingle and become close to one another, as they suddenly began to merge and combine onto a stronger and greater being than they ever were. Spirytus, not wanting to take the risk of what is going to happen, outright charges at the combining legion of spirits, as he attempts to reap them, but some of the spheres launched projectiles. He quickly slashed at them, but than another projectile appeared from behind, and exploded at his back, causing him to land back down to the ground, although he did not look nor feel badly hurt at all. In fact, he looked annoyed. He then raised his head up, and saw that the spirits combined into a shadowy humanoid entity of some sort with black wings and tentacles that acts as legs. Is then fired a blast of energy from its face, as the God of Death dodged to the side, before he slashed at the chest of the fused being, which made it recoil back. He then held his scythe right up to the entity, his eyes narrowed underneath his hood, as he then spoke out a single world at the being.

"Shibo."

Then, a black slash suddenly erupted, as the entity began to decay and disintegrate at the feeling that is happening. It then collapsed, before it turned to dust, as it fell down to the ground, dead, the spirits reaped by the God of Death that hunted the last bit of it down. He looked down, but then sensed someone coming. Not wanting to take the risk, he made a portal by slashing his scythe and going into it, while he heard a female voice spoke out.

"Hold it, please!"

But he did not listen, as he went through the portal and landed, as he looks to see that he is in some type of city that he has never seen before. Than again he has been living in the Underworld for a long time so...obviously he would not know of this. But he looks around and sees people all over the place. Not wanting to accidentally kill them and even touch them, he decided to go and make a run elsewhere, as he teleports as frequently as he hood, so he does not get spotted by anyone inside of the crowd.

He looks around and began to think that he needs to go and find another place to find so that he can go back to the Underworld in peace and without anyone knowing of who he is. He then teleports elsewhere to an alleyway of some sort, which is empty and devoid of people...or at least he hopes so. He then took out a marker of some sort, and began to carve a symbol onto the ground. But as he did, some voices spoke out, and they do not sound friendly, at all.

"Well well, look who we have here!"

This made him snap his head up, and he looks to see some ugly group members appear before him, as he spoke out.

"Seems we got ourselves a new person to kill for sport, wouldn't you agree boys?"

The others laughed a bit, as the God of Death frowned at their cruelty and sadism, as he stood up and looked at them. He can smell it, blood on their hands, as he clenched his fist, and took out his scythe, in which he points at them.

"Back off, mortal. You are making a big mistake approaching me."

This made the gang leader snarl a bit, as he spoke out.

"Oh, little guy thinks he's very tough, huh? Well then, perhaps my boys will teach you some manners! Get him!!"

The men charged at the God of Death, but he narrowed his eyes, as he then made a wall of black ki appear, which they ran into. One of them appeared from behind, but the God of Death grabbed him by the neck, and the moment that happened, he began to decay and rot by the mere touch alone, as his skin blackened, and he is reduced to nothing but dust, as he spoke out.

"Fine then, I warned you."

He took out his scythe and spoke out.

"Shibo."

His scythe has what seems to be a Ki that is colored by darkness cover the blade, which oddly is glowing, as he then slashed at the gang members, in where he reaped their souls, which made the gang leader look in shock, as if he did not expect for something like this to happen. Spirytus looks at the gang leader and glares at him despite his hood covering his eyes, almost as if he warning him to not attack him any further. But the gang leader refuses to back down from the fight, his own stubborn pride will not let him stay back, as he instead spoke out with rage present.

"Tch, you think that you are gonna get up on me!! I can still take you out even without those weaklings!!!"

He then charged at the God of Death, who then prepares to attack again, holding a knife on his hand, he attempted to stab him, but then...something else got in the way and grabbed his hand, tightly. It was painful, that he dropped the knife. The God of Death looks up, as he is shocked at who has suddenly arrived.

The Goddess of Destruction, Heles, has arrived, and she did not look happy at the sight, as she spoke out.

"What an ugly and fowl creature. Perhaps I should fix it, by having you be rid of."

She then twisted his hand, as she held her open palm at the gang member's face, who is sweating at the sight, not sure what to do. And then, before he knew it, Heles spoke out softly.

"Hakai."

A pulse of purple was suddenly felt, as the gang member screamed and cried in fear, as his entire body glows purple, and began to disintegrate into purple sparkles of light, his screams heard even as his head vanished, as Heles let's go of him, the gang member destroyed, and the God of Death felt it. Every part of him is gone. Even his spirit. The God of Death may reap spirits, they at least still exist. The Gang Member's...just disappeared, like he has never existed in the first place.

Deciding now to take the chance and flee, he attempts to go away and return back to the Underworld, but Heles teleported in front of him, as she spoke out.

"Hold..."

This made him stop, as he looks at Heles, who stares at him with critical eyes. He steps back, his scythe lowered, and he looked scared, as he spoke out.

"Do not get close..."

Heles looks at him, before looking down at the gang members he had killed, and saw their decayed, rotted bodies, Heles looks at the black robed entity, who simply freezes in place and steps back in fear, but not out of fear towards her. Rather, it is of fear 'for' her. Heles gawked her head to the side, as she spoke out to him.

"Did you do this?"

He looked down, as he spoke out.

"It's what I'm unfortunately forced to live with. Anything I touch...I kill. Anything living, I decay."

She looks at him, and spoke out.

"Why do this?"

The God of Death looked down, and spoke out.

"It's not something I can simply stop. It is just...always there, whether I like or not. I cannot control this. Any loving being I touch, falls to it. Not one person has ever survived it"

Heles looked down at him, and narrowed her eyes, as she spoke out.

"Really? Then prove it...by trying it on me."

When he hears this, the God of Death panicked and jump back, as he spoke out.

"No! No, no! I can't and won't do that! It isn't right! I don't want any unnecessary death!"

Heles could tell he's scared, but not of her. Rather...it is of himself. Heles looked and frowned, as she spoke out.

"I will not be killed."

She stepped forward, and the God of Death stepped back in fear. But as this happened, he was suddenly frozen in place by an unknown force. He tried to teleport and move elsewhere, but he couldn't. It is like someone else is trying to stop him from leaving, as Heles is not doing anything. The God of Death tried to do everything he can to move his legs. But he can't still, as Heles got in close. The God of Death raised his arms to his face, while having his hands hidden underneath the sleeves, so his bare skin does not touch her. But Heles is not worried. In fact, she feels no true fear of this God of Death, as he grabs both of his arms, and gently lowered them, as he tried to reel his head back in vain, but Heles reaches her hand out to him, and the God of Death closed his eyes, not wanting to see another one killed because of him against. He felt her hand touched his cheek, and he closed in distress...but he did not feel a life extinguish. In fact, he did not know if she's still alive...until her voice spoke out.

"See...I am fine."

This made the God of Death confused, until he found the nerve to open his eyes, and to his shock...she's fine. This made him shocked beyond all belief. His eyes widened, as he spoke out.

"Wh...how...wh-why..."

Heles cannot help but laugh at this, as she spoke out to him in a gentle tone.

"...tell me...what are you, if you do not mind me asking."

The Death Deity looks at Heles for a little bit, before he looks down, as he then finally decided to speak out.

"I...I am a God of Death. It is as my title sounds like. I am task to end lives that needed to be gone, as well as reap the souls of the tainted. Because of this...even touching me is enough to kill mortals. But...I don't even..."

Heles smiled a little warmly at him, as she spoke out.

"Well...that is because I myself am no mortal. You see, I am a deity myself. A Goddess of Destruction."

This made his eyes widened. That explained why his powers did not work on her for some reason. Heles looked down at him. The God of Death surprisingly is not as tall as Heles. The Goddess of Destruction is at the height of 5'9, while the God of Death, he himself is at the height of 5'4. Heles looks at his face, and although his mouth and nose the only things exposed, his eyes are hidden in shadows. Despite this, Heles can tell that he is looking directly at her. She then looks down at him and spoke out.

"Tell me. Do you have a name?"

The God of Death looks down at the ground for a bit, and closed his eyes for a little while, before he nodded his head, and spoke out to Heles.

"Spirytus. My name is Spirytus."

Heles held her arm out, as she spoke out, dramatically.

"Well, Spirytus, my name is Heles, the Goddess of Destruction. It is a beautiful pleasure to meet another fellow God like I."

Spirytus looked down, as he smiled a tiny bit sadly, as he then spoke out.

"Likewise..."

Heles then gesture for someone to come down, only to reveal that Sour is present, and his staff is glowing, which stopped. When that happened, Spirytus felt his legs being functional again. He can finally move. Sour bowed his head, as he spoke out.

"Greetings. I am Sour, the instruction and servant of Lady Heles."

Spirytus nodded his head, as he hugged himself a little bit, as Heles goes to him, and spoke out to him.

"So, Spirytus. Mind telling me how you remained hidden for so long? I had been around for a long time, yet I have not seen someone like you to exist."

Spirytus, however, spoke out to her.

"Actually...that is because this was hidden for a long time by mortals. Truth is...I did not start out as a God of Death. Rather...that power existed far beyond my time, many millennia. Although...I have no idea how far."

This made Heles blink a bit, as she spoke out.

"Really? How was this made?"

Spirytus looked down and spoke out.

"I...the memories of my past inheritors are fuzzy, bit I think it involves countless mortals of great power, wanting to make a ritual in order to give birth to a God that can bring forth death to any life unwanted, although that is one of the reasons. I know there was a second reason but...that memory fuzzy. They did ritual...but somehow it was botched, and while it made the first inheritor of this power a god...it did have a side effect in this one that was clearly unwanted."

Heles looked, as Spirytus spoke out.

"The thing is...those that are Gods of Death can be killed, but when that happens, the one that killed the previous interior of this, becomes the new Death god. Essentially, it is a cycle of reincarnating and change. It happened for a long time. And me...I am just the most recent God of Death, by 10,000 years. Although...I did not kill anyone to gain this status."

This made Heles blink, as she spoke out.

"Really? Then how did you get it?"

Spirytus then looks at Heles, and spoke out.

"Well, it was...passed down to me willingly. And back then...I felt I had nothing to lose, since I lost everything. So...I felt like it would at least give me some purpose to continue with whatever life awaits me. And because of this, it killed the previous inheritor, while I became the new one. And because it was passed down, especially to many strong mortals, it grew in power itself. And...I think that this is as far as it can go...with me, reaching the limit it can be at. However...I made a mistake thinking that it would be a blessing...because of how my powers affect life, killing living beings even the ones that didn't deserve to be killed. I recognized the danger of this power, and I realize that if anyone else dare inherit the same powers as I do, then they could accidentally kill others. So...I decided to go into a different realm, in order to ensure that I do not cause any damage."

This made Heles look at him, almost sad that he had to live like this, even though he chose this path. Heles, hearing the last part that she said, spoke our.

"So...where were you all this time?"

Spirytus looks at her and spoke out.

"About that. I was in a realm called the Underworld. It is an afterlife where the corrupted and sinned go into whenever they die. I reap them to keep them I check and not allow them to enter the world. But the past few months, the Corrupted Souls escaped, and even though vowed now to step foot into the realm of living again...I decided to break that vow just so I can ensure that they do not cause any damage."

Heles looked at him in the eyes, never hearing of this realm before, as she spoke out.

"Mind taking to this Underworld?"

Spirytus nodded his head, as he spoke out.

"Of course."

He then took out a chisel; and carved a symbol onto the floor, before stepping onto it, as it opened a hole in the ground. Spirytus jumped down, as Heles and Sour joined in. When they went down into the Underworld, they look and saw the appearance of it. Needless to say...it did not run in Heles in a good way.

"Ugh...this place...it is so ugly and horrid."

Sour said nothing of the appearance of the realm, as he spoke out to Spirytus.

"This is where you have been all this time?"

Spirytus nodded his head, as he spoke.

"Yes. I have locked myself inside of the Underworld for as long as I can remember, keeping the tainted down here so they do not access the outside realm. It is displeasing, admittedly...but it at least allows me to not go into the outside world often."

Heles looked, as she spoke out.

"Have you even went outside, even once?"

Spirytus looks at her, and spoke back.

"Well, if you can count the time that I first got it, I guess, but I stayed locked up inside of this realm to ensure no one takes what I have. I have accessed it indirectly, however, by going into an incorporeal form, or by using animals to act as my eyes, which I can control. And honestly...I was sort of hoping no one would notice, so that they can enjoy their lives at peace."

Heles looks at the entire realm, as she spoke out.

"Well...what happens if the Underworld is destroyed?"

Spirytus looks and spoke out.

"Well, the last that happened, when it was erased by...something, it caused some of souls to escape, which I had to clean up. If the realm is destroyed, then the souls will have nowhere else to go to, but the outside world to cause havoc."

Heles crossed her arms, as she spoke out.

"Well, I might have a solution for that."

This made Spirytus confused, as she spoke out.

"I can have Sour seal off the underworld, so that the corrupted souls can remain trapped in here, and if I want to, I can destroy as many as I want with them inside of it. However...I want something from you."

This made Spirytus look at Heles, as she then spoke out to him.

"I want you to work with me...and me eternally. So that you can finally be out of this ugly place."

This made Spirytus surprised, as he spoke out.

"Umm...are you sure you want that? I mean, you know that I can do, and the last thing that I want is to decay and kill people or plants by accident."

Heles looks and smiled, as she spoke out to him."

"I did not forget that, Spirytus. But you should also remember, I am unaffected by your touch of death. And besides, you will only be with me and Sour, not with anyone else."

Spirytus looks down at himself, as he began to think of it, but Heles then cupped his chin, as she raises his head so that she can look at him, as she spoke out.

"So...what do you say? Will you please serve me, and be free of the task of the Underworld, eternally?"

Spirytus looks at her, all little unsure. But...he dreamed of being free of this for so long. After a little bit of looking into her eyes, as he finally came to a decision. He wanted to be free.

"Alright. I...I will serve you, Heles."

Heles miles gently, as Sour bowed to him, and Heles spoke out.

"I am happy you decide to make this joy. I welcome you...Spirytus."

Timeskip...

Spirytus, after a little bit of encouragement from Heles, finally manage to be free from the life of staying inside of the Underworld. Now he is here to serve Heles and be of use for her whenever he has the chance to help her. And thanks to the fact that her status as a Goddess of Destruction made her resistant to his power over Death, she is able to be touched by him without any risk of being killed. As such, she trusts him with anything, even the hardest tasks that her usual servants would not be able to do. In a way, while Heles has her male servants, she favors Spirytus out of the others, mainly due to the fact that he is a god, and he is surprisingly very close to her level of power.

And oddly enough, she talks to him the most and often gets him to stab by her side almost all the time, with only some exceptions, and even Heles does not know why she herself is doing this, but she feels oddly attracted to him in ways that even she herself cannot explain. Perhaps it is because of the fact that there is something underneath his hood that she is seemingly getting interested in, a face that she has yet to unveil, since he did not do that for her just yet.

Surprisingly, Spirytus also got along a little bit swimmingly with Sour, mainly because both of them are a bit of the silent type of people and do not talk this much. But even so, they are not that close compared to Spirytus' relationship with Heles, especially since she had given him a new life that he is now very proud and happy to have, especially since he was begging to have this in the first place.

Now, currently, Heles wanted for Spirytus to do something that she had been wanting for a bit. She wanted to spar with him and see how strong and skilled he is with his powers. Right now, Spirytus is shown to be in an entity realm of some sort, with Heles on her hand, Spirytus having his scythe, whine Heles has a bow and arrow, as Spirytus spoke out to her.

"Umm...Lady Heles...are you certain that this is safe for me to do it?"

Heles nodded her head, as she spoke out.

"Of course I am, Spirytus. I am certain of it. Besides, even if you do try and hit me with your Scythe, Sour will make sure nothing bad happens, and will even stop you if you get rather close. But with your fists, I can allow yoj to hit me with them.

Spirytus looks down at the ground for a little bit, a little nervous as to not ruin her pretty face, but he complied as he then spoke out to her.

"Really hope I never do have to get that far."

Heles smiled sweetly, as she spoke out.

"I am sure you will be able to confirm yourself just fine. Anyway..."

Heles made a bow and arrow and aims it at Spirytus, as she then spoke out.

"Let us see how strong you are, my servant."

Spirytus looked and sighed a little bit, as he spoke out.

"Very well, just for you, Lady Heles."

Heles smiled, as she spoke eagerly.

"Let us now finally begin."

Heles then fired an arrow at Spirytus, who then swung his scythe and sliced the arrow in midair, although he did get pushed back a little bit by the force of the arrow, before he vanished and appeared before her and swung his scythe. Heles blocked it with her bow, as she jumped and avoided his attacks, before she then jumped into the air and made another arrow appear into her hand, as she fired it at Spirytus, which made him panic and spoke out.

"Unliving Wall!"

Then, a black wall of Ki erupted out of the ground and it blocked the arrow very fast. He then held his hands out and spoke out.

"Chains of the wicked!!"

Then, chains that seems to have been molded out of black-colored Ki appeared out of complete nowhere and began to try and wrap around her, only for Heles to avoid getting ensnared by the Chains, as she then launched arrows and pierced through them like paper, before landing into the ground. She then goes to him, as she prepares to try and grab him, only for Spirytus to dodge out of the way as fast as he possibly can, before he then leapt forward and swung his scythe, as he spoke out.

"Damning Retribution!!"

A black slash launched at Heles from his scythe, as she then jumped onto the air again. This time, however, she flies in the air, and tries to fire at him, but does speak out encouragingly.

"That is it. Dance beautifully, my Servant of Death."

She fired more arrows at him, but Spirytus then did something different. He made his Scytje vanish and instead made 2 mini-scythes appear, the scythes are connected to a single chain, as a then swung and slashed at the arrows as fast as he can before they are able to reach him, before he then spoke out.

"Disastrous Execution!"

Suddenly, the sky above begins to blacken in color, due to dark clouds that are suddenly forming above the Goddess of Destruction. Black Lighting-like energy falls down from the sky, as Heles avoided the attack fast, as she then tried to reach herself and aim at Spirytus, who then launched one of his mini-scythes up, the chain began to produce more links to extend it, as it than wraps around Heles, before he then pulls her down and made her slam into the ground hard. He reels the scythe back into his hand, before Heles stood up with a smile, as she spoke out.

"That is what I want to see from you, Spirytus. You make me impressed of you."

Heles was impressed, as an aura of destruction covered her. Spirytus stepped back, as a black aura of death summoned and covered him, switching back to his original single Scythe, as he looks up at her, in which she then decides to attack, but now amps up the difficulty of the sparring.

She notches her arrow again, this time having the Power of Destruction cover the tip, as she spoke out her attack.

"Hakai..."

She then fires it immediately, as Spirytus dodged it, and he looks to see a mountain hit with it, which caused it to disintegrate into nothing. This made him nervous, but he decides not to think about it. He then gripped his Scythe, as he spoke out.

"Decayed Legion!"

Then, the souls of those that he has reaped and destroyed came back, as they then charged at her. But Heles flied into the air, and shouted out her attack.

"Banquet!!!"

Suddenly, golden arrow-like energy projectiles appeared all over, as the arrows killed all of the legions and destroyed them as if they were nothing. Then, she flies up into the air and made 6 small-sized planets launch into the place that Spirytus and Heles are fighting in, only for Spirytus to fly up and punch it with enough force to shatter one of them, as well as the others at the same time, despite only striking one. But Heles was not done yet, as she made a purple sphere appear above her hand, and made it large enough to destroy a continent, and threw it at Spirytus, but is confident that he can deal with it. Sure enough, Spirytus gathered ki into his hand, as he concentrated on his attack, before he shouted out.

"Calamity's End!!!"

He then made a black sphere of his own that hurls at the huge purple sphere, which clashed and exploded the 2 attack, causing an extremely massive explosion that made nearby planets and galaxies knocked away. Spirytus floats down, and Heles does the same, with Heles thinking that he is done. Spirytus, however, does not back down from this just yet, as he then spoke out his attack.

"Reaper's Wrath!"

When he said that, Black Ki began to cover the blade and the Scythe itself looks larger due to the fact that the black ki molded itself into a big blade that surrounds the normal blade. He then goes to her and slashes at her in order to take her down, only for Heles to avoid it and fired another Hakai charged arrow at the Black Ki-covered blade, which caused a purple explosion of destructive energy and shattered the blades construct. This made Spirytus look shocked, as he spoke out.

"Woah, the Power of Destruction sure lives up to its name, just as your title of the Goddess of Destruction, Heles."

Heles smiled a bit at what he had said, as she spoke out.

"Aw, how flattering of you, Spirytus. Too bad flattery will get you nowhere in this spar."

Spirytus took a deep breath and nodded his head, as he spoke out.

"Of course."

He then took a stance, as black energy covers the blade of the scythe, as he then looks at her with narrowed eyes, before Heles spoke out.

"Hakai."

She fired the destruction-infused arrow at Spirytus, who then spoke out.

"Shibo."

He then launched a black slash of death at the arrow, and as that happened, the 2 attacks clashed...and something unexpected happens. All of a sudden, an explosion of black and purple energy erupted, which made Sour teleport both Spirytus and Heles out of the location that they are in, which is a planet of some sort that is not filled with animal-life, only plants. The entire planet turned black and purple, before it disintegrated. Both Heles and Spirytus blinked at this, as he then spoke out.

"Did we go a bit too far."

Heles looked a little bit, before she spoke out.

"I think so."

Both Heles and Spirytus looked at each other, before they snorted and started to laugh, clearly finding this a little bit funny at what had happened. Like, they have no idea that this could suddenly be funny, accidentally destroying a planet like that, yet somehow it became as such in a way. Heles looked at him and grabbed his arm and spoke out.

"Let us go back home. Sour..."

Sour nodded his head, as he waved his staff, before a sphere of light surrounds the 2 gods, and the both of them are sent flying away back to Heles' palace, and as that happened, Spirytus closed his eyes, as he waits for the trip to end. Bit as he does so, he does not know if it is his imagination, but he feels Heles' thumb rubbing onto Spirytus ' hand and her fingers then intertwined into his own. This made him rather...confused. Like...he has no idea why Heles is doing that. But...he also began to feel something for her, and it is steering to confuse him slightly.

Like...he does not know why...but for some reason...he feels like he wants to get close to her...far more closed than even he imagines. He can feel his own heart racing around her at times, and can even feel himself having his head above the clouds and imagining doing something that is fun with her. It...it confuses him greatly. Was he developing feeling soft her? Spirytus shook his head, believing that this feeling shouldn't be real...and her dome reason...he feels like this is something that he is sort of feeling for Heles rather genuinely, and windowed if Heles is feeling the same thing for him due to what she is doing.

Spirytus then felt like he is going mad and smacked himself in the face, as he shook his head a little bit, before he then opened his eyes, and looks to see that they are almost there to the palace. He smiled a little bit to himself, as he can finally clear his mind a little bit, and think of what exactly he is feeling for her right now. But unbeknownst to him, Heles has some ideas of her own involving him, and it is something that he is not going to be expecting from her.

A week later...

Spirytus is shown to be walking a little bit inside of the hallways of the palace that he is inside of, as he has his hands behind his back, thinking of this strange feeling. He could feel his heart thump when around Heles, and it is making him strange in ways that he never thought possible. Throughout his years of living, he never thought that this was possible, but he understands what is happening to him. He is starting to fall in love with her, and he didn't even know it. And because of this, it made him conflicted and confused. He does not know why he is suddenly starting to fall for the Goddess of Destruction. Like, is there something about her that makes him yearn for her, such as her beauty, or is it because of how kind she is, or is it both? What we the case if, it confuses him far more than even he could ever imagine, hand he needs some time to think of this all on his own.

Since it is his day off, he decided to go elsewhere for a little bit. He flies in fast within space itself, as he hugged himself a little bit, wanting to shake off the strange emotion that he is feeling inside of himself. He continues to fly into the deep depths of space, until he spots an Astroid of some sort in the middle of space. Going to it, he decided to take a seat onto it. He flies down as gently as he can, and being a god, he doesn't need to worry about breathing. In fact, he does not need to even breathe at all.

He sat down onto the large piece of rock, as he looks up and sees the stars all over the place, as he felt the entire beauty of space itself. All of the stars, all of the planets that he can sense from very far away, he can sense it all. He closed his eyes and hugged himself a little bit, as he closed his eyes, savoring in the single area that he is in. He never had a chance to see such beauty in all of his life, mainly because he is almost always inside of the Underworld, taking care of the corrupted souls that constantly cause a lot of problems inside of it. Well, at least meeting Heles gave him the freedom that he needed and wanted for such a very long time. He just hopes that this can last forever.

As he closed his eyes, he then felt a familiar presence land behind him. And then, a voice spoke out, and it was one that he did not expect to hear.

"Oh, so this is where you decided to be at, Spirytus."

This made Spirytus jump a bit, and began to float into the air, before something pulled him down. He then looks and saw that it is none other then Heles, who had somehow found him. This made him surprised, as he spoke out to her.

"Lady Heles? How did you find me? Don't tell me that Sour had done that for you."

Heles looked and smiled a little bit, as she spoke out.

"Well, you somehow got that on right."

Spirytus shook his head, as he spoke out.

"Great, thanks Sour."

Heles looked amused at his annoyed reaction. But as that happened, a comet went past the both of them, and it made them cover their hands a bit. But when that happened, as Heles uncovered her face, she looks and sees that Spirytus' hood is starting to get off, and Spirytus spoke out at this in a panic.

"Oh no wait, don't-"

But it was too late for him. His hood came off, and his hair is revealed...and it is insanely long. Like, his heir is shown to be stretching out for miles in a way, and this made Heles shocked on ways that she has never seen before. She has seen others with long hair...but never to such a degree and length like that.

Heles held her face, as she looks at Spirytus' hair, as she then spoke out to him.

"My goodness, Spirytus. Did you allow your hair to grow this long in your years of living?"

Spirytus looks at Heles and smacked himself in the face, as he spoke out to her.

"I don't know how to cut my hair. Plus I was constantly busy killing corrupted souls, so I never had time to think about it. Besides...doesn't it at least look good on me?"

Heles looks and walks over to him, as she spoke out.

"No it is not! In fact, it looks way too much for you! I'm going to get rid of that and make it short!"

Spirytus looks at Heles and spoke out to her.

"Umm...it isn't going to be a bother for you, is it?"

Heles shook her head, as she spoke out.

"No, of course not. Besides, this does not loom good on you."

She then took out an arrow and grabbed as much of his hair as she can, as she held the arrow out to the hair, and cuts it, before she then spoke out.

"Hakai!"

The long piece of hair is then disintegrated into purple particles, as Heles then does the same to the other piece of hair that is still long and has not been cut by her yet. She grabs it her again and slices it, before destroying the long strands of hair, and repeated this process over and over, until she is finally finished with it. As she stepped back, although his hair is long still, it now just reaches his shoulders and does not go as far as it did.

Heles smiled, as she brushed her hair to the side for a bit, as she smiled at him, before she spoke out.

"There we go. Now we have some actual beauty right here."

She opened her eyes to look at him, and the hair is raised a bit, due to the lack of gravity in space, and then she noticed his eyes. The irises of the eyes are black in color, almost like she is looking into irises that are made of obsidian. Yet despite this, it still looked very beauty onto him. Heles could not help but feel entranced by the eyes alone.

"Wow...you have such beautiful eyes in you."

This made Spirytus look embarrassed, as he turned around and puts his hood down, feeling a little bit embarrassed at this, as he goes onto his knees for a bit, with Heles laughing a bit at his reaction. She then walks over, and puts her hands onto his head. She sat down on to her knees, and puts Spirytus' head onto her lap, which made him open his eyes. He tried to get up, but Heles held his head down, as she spoke out.

"Hey...hey. You best rest a little bit."

This made Spirytus look confused, but then he felt himself getting sleepy, which he had never felt before in a long time, before he then closed his eyes and felt drowsy, as the feeling did sleep overcame his very mind. He began to inhaler and exhale calmly, as he slept onto Heles' lap. Heles giggled for a little bit and smiled slightly, as she spoke out to him.

"Hmhmhmhmhmhm...you are now completely the brightest spot of my life, Spirytus. You have given me a new feeling that I myself have always wanted to feel, in my years of living for countless millennia."

She brushed his hair out of the way, as Heles looked up a little bit, as she stares up at the sky that is above her, the stars all sprinkled and gathered above the endless black void of some sort. The stars, looking so close to one another, her are so very far away from each other, yet it mattered not to Heles, since she always sees them as such beautiful inside of the endless blackening void.

She closed her eyes a little bit, as she felt a little bit of red dust her cheeks a little bit, and she smiled to herself. She looks down at Spirytus, who is sleeping soundless and cutely onto her lap, as she spoke out to herself.

"Perhaps...today...it is time that he knows how I feel about him..so that he can tell me what he feels for me."

She closed her eyes a little bit, before she then puts her hands underneath Spirytus, before carrying him up in a sort of bridal style way. She then flies up into the air and goes back to her palace, as she closed her eyes, while holding onto Spirytus tightly for a little bit. She looks around and sees that she is leaving the Astroid area behind. As she continues to fly, all of a sudden, very disgusting aliens came out of complete nowhere and tried to attack Heles. Heles, not in the mode for this, held her hand out and spoke out.

"Hakai!"

The entire army of aliens that had tried to attack her became purple and had vaporized entirely at the same time. She looked downright annoyed at this, as she then flies away without hesitation, before she then made it back home safely.

The next day...

Spirytus...he could only see blackness, due to the fact he has not slept in a long time, and as such, he oddly feels...like he is on something that seems to be rather soft and welcoming. He does not know why, but he feels like he can rest in it forever and eternally. Unfortunately, such times will have to come to an end, whether he likes it or not. He then felt himself beginning to open his eyes, as he felt like something is forcing him awake. Spirytus tried to do all that he can in order to keep himself sleeping, and while it sort of worked for a temporary amount of time, the pull to awaken is far greater, and eventually, the light shown into his eyes, and he looked around, finding himself someplace else. He is not in that Astroid before, and is instead in someplace else. He looked and saw that he is in what seems to be some sort of bed, almost like it is grand and queen-sized to an extent, with what seems to be a good quilt and has a very soft pillow that made his head very comfortable. As he looked around, he then heard a voice spoke out to him.

"Oh, you are finally awake, Spirytus, that is very good to see."

This made Spirytus jump, and he looked around, only to see a Goddess of Destruction shown in front of the door.

Heles looks at him, a hand onto her hip, as she spoke out to him.

"How are you feeling, Spirytus?"

Spirytus looked and stretched a little bit, as he spoke out.

"I feel...oddly refreshed, in ways that I never thought would be possible for me to feel. Been the first time that I have slept in so many years."

Heles nodded her head at this, as she goes to him before she than spoke out.

"I see. It is very nice that you can now rejuvenate after what mush have been a long time without slumbering and dreaming."

Spirytus nodded his head, as he looked around.

"And...why am I in your bed? Like...doesn't that seem...awkward?"

Heles shook her head a little bit at this, as she spoke out.

"Not at all, on the contrary, I put you here on purpose...even if it just so means that I can enjoy your presence inside of it."

The last part of her sentence made him blush and it caught his attention, as he turns to look at her and spoke out.

"Wait...what?"

Heles looks down and smiled a bit, before she spoke out.

"Tell me, Spirytus, do you enjoy being with me?"

Spirytus looks up at Heles, who takes her head to the side, waiting for an answer that he can make towards her. After a little bit, he looked down and nodded his head, as he then spoke out.

"Yeah...I...I do."

This made Heles smile a little bit, as she spoke out.

"Really? And how does my presence make you feel? Be honest with me here, Spirytus."

Spirytus looks down, as he began to think of his words...and after a minute, he spoke out.

"I don't...admittedly...I felt...strange. Like, for some reason, whenever you are near me, I can feel my own body warm up. And whenever I can close to you, I feel like I want to be near you all the time, but...I...I don't know why I am thinking like this. It is just...strange."

Heles, hearing this, finally felt her hopes grown far greater than before, as she spoke out.

"...I know why you think like this...and in all honesty...I feel the same way towards you, Spirytus."

This made Spirytus look to see Heles lean in front of his face, as the smile on her face is now much more wider than before, as she than spoke out.

"Too be honest...for a long time, being with you...I felt like my whole life has become far better when you entered. You kept me company and helped me in many tasks, but...you are always very polite and cared even when there is no reason to. It makes me yearn for something you have, and it makes me feel warm inside. I feel like I am able to do anything and everything with you by my side. Your very presence has made me the happiest and most fulfilling that I have ever felt."

Heles smiled at Spirytus, her hands making a heart gesture, as she makes her feelings known to him, and Spirytus, seeing this, realizes that Heles has been feeling towards him, as she then spoke out to him.

"All I am trying to say is, Spirytus...is that...you are the very first soul that I have met that has caught my heart, in a way that I have never seen before."

She goes to him, and cups his face and lifts him up a bit, due to how tall she is compared to him, as she spoke out the next 3 words that he did not expect.

"I love you."

She pulls him in and kisses him almost immediately on the lips. Spirytus was surprised at this, but he did not hesitate nor froze in place. In fact, he found himself hugging Heles and returned the kiss, as he stood onto his toes and tries to kiss her back with as much as he can, and it made Heles very happy that Spirytus is accepting her love like this. He made one of his foot pop off front the ground, as he hugged her to tightly, feeling very happy and fulfilled that she loves him this much, which is something that he never thing that she would possibly be able to feel. And yet, somehow, this deity of Death is able to catch her heart in ways that is never thought possible.

Heles and Spirytus kissed each other passionately, as their tongues wrestle against one another, bit because Spirytus is so entranced by her beauty, he allowed himself to lose on purpose, as Heles exploded every inch and every part of the inside of his own mouth, which she is clearly enjoying. After a little bit, Heles and Spirytus finally finished kissing. They both breathed a little bit, as Spirytus spoke out.

"W...woah."

Heles smiled, as she spoke out to him.

"Amazing, is it not?"

Spirytus nodded his head, as Heles goes into the bed and hugs him and brought him back down to the bed, as she spoke out.

"And no...you are not going anywhere. You are staying here with me~."

Spirytus looks at her, a little surprised at that, but he smiled a little bit, as he spoke out to her.

"Heh...not gonna let me go this easily, are you?"

Heles winks at him, as she spoke out to him.

"Of course, Spirytus, I am not going to be letting you go this easily."

She puts a finger on his lips, as if to stop him from speaking, even though he didn't decide on talking.

"After all...you are my beloved God. No one else will take you away from me, for they will face me destructive fury should they dare try and take you."

Spirytus looked amused and almost happy, as he spoke out to her.

"That...that makes me happy, Heles...to know that someone like you is willing to keep me by your side. I will do whatever it takes to make you feel happy, even if I am...kinda lousy at it."

Heles smiled and giggled a little bit at this, especially since he always doubts himself in some ways. But even so, she at least is happy that she is going to have someone like him care for her in spite of all the doubts, as she then spoken to him.

"But of course. You are the king for me, a queen, 2 Gods together...eternally."

This made Spirytus nodded with a smile, as Heles goes and kisses him on the lips once more, as she is hungering for his taste. Spirytus has no idea how he manages to get this lucky, in spite of all the time he had spent being in the Underworld, but in the way he sees it, perhaps being noticed by Heles, the Goddess of Destruction, is something that he needed all along, and is a true blessing without knowing it. He now desires nothing more than to be with her, for all eternity, and being with her, he will ensure that his own love to her never dies.

And the both of them...won't let each other go.
