Shadow POV

I was outside waiting for the mail and I saw the portal open suddenly. 'Great, more people to meet.' Three people came out of the portal  and one collapsed to the ground. One had black hair, black pants, a white shirt, and pale skin. The female of the trio had blonde pony tails, a black dress, and a small scar on her neck. The one that fainted had brown hair, a black suit, and a blood stains on his shirt. "Sorry for him sir." The one with black hair said. "Please call me Ryuzaki or L, that is Misa Amane," he pointed to the blonde haired girl. "And that," he pointed at the unconscious one, "that is Light Yagami." I saw Ryuzaki's real name above his head. I decided to go along with his request. "Good to meet you Ryuzaki." I looked at Misa and asked Ryuzaki. "Who are they exactly?" L looked at Misa and Light. "I once thought they were my friends, but I was wrong, they are both liars." L then walked towards the academy entrance. Light woke up and got up to see Misa. "Hello, my name is Eric Schmidt What happened next was strange. Light pulled a notebook out and started to write down the name I told him and he looked at his watch and was surprised at something. "Why aren't you dead!" I then took the notebook from his hands and looked inside. The cover read "Death Note" it's instructions said that if you write the name of a person's name with their face in your mind they will die. I decided to keep it.
