The infamous semicolon. Even you cannot teach it in an appealing manner. Grammar as a whole is disturbing. The semicolon is just a symbol separating two independent sentences. For example, say the semicolon is the clothes and fabric between us. Now remove that semicolon and see what happens. Sure, the complete sentence would be a mess, but imagine what we could do to each other without our semicolons, Luke. You're attractive. I am attractive, so let's say we remove that symbol altogether. Who needs clothes anyway?
