Title: Stupid

I like this title better than my last one, because besides being "ew", feelings are also quite stupid.

Yet I seem to talk about them a lot.

I'll keep this short and simple. I'm inviting my crush (I sound like a middle schooler) to stay with me and my family over Spring Break. I don't know if he'll accept, or think I'm weird, or whatever, but I think that this could make something of us, you know? Maybe this can create something that goes beyond text messages, flirty phone calls, and letters. This could make us something. We could become something real. I feel so different towards him, like I already know him so well even though I've never met him.

This could be really good.

Sorry if this is too short of an entry, Mr. Sulley. I just need to go to sleep so I can 1. Pray that my mom agrees to my crazy idea, and 2. Pray that he'll agree to it as well.

Dear Connor,

            You're totally fine for not replying. How could I be mad at you when I did the same thing, except for longer? I'm just glad that you replied to me at all, since it's always wonderful to get to talk to you, even if it's weeks or months apart from each other. You're great, and I hope I've made you realize this by now.

            My blog is going great, thank you for asking. I never know what to put on there, so I kind of just rant about my feelings a lot? Which is super weird for me, since I hate talking about feelings at all, so ranting about them or just talking about them in general with random people online who might be reading my blog is super strange to me. I think other people in my class are actually writing about normal things, like their friends and family and things that happen in their lives, and then there's me, writing about things I don't even talk about with anyone in real life. How's your blog doing? I'm sure your posts are much more interesting than mine.

            I'm so glad that you like Chuck! Season 5 gets super crappy though, just warning you. I actually stopped watching after the first couple episodes because I was not okay with all the changes and the weird character stuff. I would be fine with ending on Season 4 to be perfectly honest.

            My Spring Break is actually longer than yours, haha. I go from the 11th to the 22nd, which is pretty great, since it means I don't have to see anyone from school for that long. That's why I love summer; no people to annoy you unless you go out searching for them. School makes ignoring annoying people so difficult, don't you think?

            Also, I would absolutely love to meet during Spring Break. How could I turn down an offer like that? It's so crazy that you're coming to California of all places to visit, since that's where I live...and yeah I know that seems obvious but it's just super great, I'm really excited for you to come and I hope that we'll be able to see a lot of each other! I actually asked my mom if you could stay with us for your vacation, since you said you don't know where you're staying, and she said she's totally fine with that! I think that would be super fun, as long as you're okay with it and you don't think I'm super creepy (because I'm not, I promise, I don't know what kind of impression you've got so far from me) but I think that would be super fun to have my pen pal come and stay with me! No one else in my school became close with their pen pal, so this would be really fun for us I think!

            And since I think I know your personality a bit by now, let me just say that you will not be intruding at all. My mom loves to have guests over, and guests from across the country that she'll be helping out by opening up her home? She's ecstatic. So don't worry.

            I hope you'll accept!

A/N: Happy Wednesday Update! How do you feel about Sydney's proposal?? Do you think Connor will accept, or get scared?

Okay, so three things:

1. Dear Sydney is entered in the #Wattys2016! I try to advertise as much as I can, but it would be AMAZING if you guys could help me out by spreading the word about Dear Sydney! Getting a watty award would be completely insane and I hope that you guys can help me make this dream a reality by telling other people about it! Since you know, I have the freaking best readers on planet earth.

2. WRITING PALACE. Last round, I was getting entries like crazy, but I have only received ONE for the second round so far! Please get them in ASAP!! I'm looking forward to reading all your great stuff!

3. I have a proposition for the chapters of Dear Sydney following the meeting of Connor and Sydney: would you guys be totally opposed to the chapters after they meet continuing to be in normal book form? I have ideas for the end that would be great in regular book form, I would continue to use the social media and texts and such, but they would not be the only thing in the book...there would be regular dialogue and descriptions as well. Do you hate the idea? Love it? Don't know? Please comment and let me know what you're thinking! Anything goes, don't hold back. If you have an idea for what I should do that I haven't mentioned, put it down there!

As always, you guys are the best and I love you and thank you for being so supportive of Dear Sydney! It officially bypassed my other book, Spiral, at 25,000 reads, yesterday. Spiral has been up for almost two years, and Dear Sydney has only been up for almost two months. Ya'll are crazy and amazing and I love you guys so much. I hope you aren't getting bored of the story, there are some fresh things coming!
