A Letter?
<Lance's POV>
"...you... want me to write you a... letter?"
"Yeah! It's more romantic than texting." She smiled sweetly. Lance almost melted into his wooden chair. "She likes me! She wants to talk to me! She's willing to wait for my actual love letters, of all things! Gosh, she's perfect!" "Yes it is, M'lady, and thou shalt not disappoint you." She giggled. I made her giggle! Her long blonde hair tied loosely in a braid, her brown eyes blinking back at me.
"Lance? Where'd you go?" I heard a familiar voice calling. Hunk. I turned around and saw the Samoan boy walking around the coffee shop, looking a little confused. "Sorry, Madam, duty calls." I winked at her, grabbed the piece of paper with her address, and strutted off to Hunk.
"Lance! There you are. I have your White Chocolate Mocha." He smiled and handed me my coffee. I took it, not exactly focused. "Be careful, Lance!" Hunk hurriedly added. I noticed I was almost spilling my drink. "You okay, Lance? You seem a little... preoccupied." I sighed sweetly and looked at her from across the room. She was laughing with her friends, and every so often, they'd glance at me.
"Ohhhhh. Got it." I looked back to Hunk, who had a knowing look on his face. "What? I didn't even tell you!" "I'm not dumb, Lance. I see you looking at that girl across the shop." He chuckled taking a sip of his hot chocolate. "One, 'that girl's name is Olga, and two, I didn't just flirt with her. I got to know her, and she gave me her address!" Hunk choked on his drink. "Her address? So you two could-" "Holy crow, Hunk! No! So I could send her love letters." His eyebrows raised. "Love letters, huh? She must really be into you! You go, man!" I smiled, taking a sip of my mocha. "I know, right? I scored big time." I thought for a second. "Should I wait a couple days before sending a letter or send one today?" He laughed, even though I was asking a serious question.
Just kidding.
"Don't play games with her, Lance." I laughed. "I know, I know, I was joking. Playing hard to get gets me nowhere." Hunk shuddered. "Sheila-"We shall not speak of the wicked witch." An eye roll. "Evil witch? That's what her name is today?" "I mean, she's evil, and she's something that rhymes with witch!" Hunk laughed until he cried, and so did I. We finished our drinks and left the café.
But not before I winked at Olga.

<Keith's POV>
"Are you sure this is gonna work? I mean, people don't even look at lost dog posters. They just see a cute puppy, make a sad frown, and walk away." I fiddled with the remaining flyer as we drove up to the last street light.
"Well, it's too late to think that now, Keith. We also can't give up hope. He has a dog tag with our information on it, he'll be fine. I'm sure he'll turn up soon." Shiro assured me.
As we came to a stop, I grabbed the tape and exited the car. I taped the sign, which we had spent hours on, to the pole. I jogged back to the car, opening the door and getting inside. "See? That wasn't so hard." I shook my head. "That took us three hours. Pidge is gonna kill us." He glanced at the clock. "We're 2 hours late for dinner!" "Exactly! So step on it!"
We drove hurriedly to our apartment. Our landlord and his niece... daughter.... granddaughter..... whatever she is to him, standing at the door. "You might want to be careful guys, I heard Pidge yelling." Coran said, fumbling with the keys to the whole apartment building. "Yeah, and when I stopped by to check on her, she didn't sound very happy." Allura winced as we heard Pidge yelling indistinctly.
After 15 seconds of silence, I realized why Shiro wasn't saying anything. An incredibly hot dude trimming his tree at the building next to us. I decided to answer, since Shiro seemed... busy. "We're 3 hours late to dinner..." The drive back took a lot longer due to rush hour traffic. "Yikes... at least Pidge didn't actually cook, right?" My phone buzzed. I took it out and looked and the notification. I froze.
"What's the matter, Keith?" Shiro said, finally paying attention to the conversation. I slowly turned my head to face him.
"Fifty. Two. Missed. Calls."
His face fell. "Oh shi-" "Language, Shiro!" Coran corrected. Shiro and I sprinted up the steps to our door, room 1776. (It was a typo, since our room was actually supposed to be room 176. Gotta love those references.)
I got up to the door last, since Shiro had pulled ahead. We both looked at each other and took a deep breath.
We opened the door to find Pidge standing at the window Blair Witch style. It was eerily quiet. We awkwardly stood in the doorway for about 30 seconds, and then we stepped inside. As soon as Shiro shut the door, Pidge let loose.
"WHERE THE F*** HAVE YOU BEEN?!" Pidge yelled at us. Upon closer inspection, she wasn't just angry- she had tears streaming down her face. "Pidge we-" "NO. DON'T ANSWER. I DON'T WANT YOUR EXCUSES." I stepped back, as she charged forwards at me. She grabbed me by the shirt and pulled me down to her. "This was my only chance to meet Olga and you ruined it." She stared at me with the most intense expression a person crying can have, and then let go. I glanced over at the dinner table, which had cold chicken and broccoli, which she had cooked herself.
I recalled the events that led up to this. A week ago she had made plans to have a first date with a girl named Olga, since it was the only time that she was in the US for the next 5 years due to family issues. Three days later Olga told her to text her when she was ready for her to come over on the day of the date. Later that day, Pidge had made herself a 90 hour battery for her phone and needed to test it to make sure it didn't explode or overheat. A day later, I lost my charger. Pidge said it was ok if I used her charger since she didn't need it for another couple days, but only if I SWORE to return it on the day of the date. She had asked us to join her on the date, even if just for a bit, to make it less awkward, since we would be around the house anyway. Though, something wasn't adding up...
"W-Why couldn't you just have the date without us?" I stuttered out, trying to regain my composure. "Because I didn't want to text her until you got home, and right as I decided that I should just text her to come over anyways, my phone died." She gripped my shirt harder and more tears fell. "And you were late."
Shiro pushed us apart. "That's enough." Pidge broke eye contact with me and stared at her shoes. "I'll never get to see her..." Her face was red and puffy as she stormed to her room.
Shiro and I looked at each other, unable to say anything, or form words for that matter. I sat on the couch, drowning in guilt. I pulled out Pidge's charger and stared at it like it was the most interesting thing in the world. How could I fix this?
Suddenly, through our little mail slot in our door, came a letter. I eyed it for a good ten seconds before walking over and picking it up.
"....to Olga?"
