I look over and catch Jordan staring at me. Again.

By again, I mean he's been staring at me the whole time we've been here.

"I'll be right back guys," I say and walk over to Jordan. "What's up? You've been staring at me all day," I ask as I approach him.

"What? Can't I look at my beautiful girlfriend?" He asks, smiling.

I feel my heart flutter when he calls me his girlfriend. I'm not sure if I like him like that, but okay.

He laughs a bit. "You're blushing," he says and steps forward then tucks a stray piece of hair behind my ear.

"Wha- n-no I'm not. What are you talking about?" I say and quickly look away.

He laughs a bit and turns my head to look at him, my eyes looking up into his.

"You are. And it's cute." He says and leans in slowly.

It takes me a few seconds to realize what he's doing, and when I do, my heart begins to race.

"J-Jordan," I stutter and lean away.

He stops leaning forward and furrows his eyebrows slightly.

"I thought you -"

"Wanted you to? This isn't one of those movie scenes, Jordan. In the end.. The boy doesn't always get the girl. I'm sorry."

"Are you.. Breaking up with me?" He asks.

"I wasn't necessarily your girlfriend to start with," I laugh nervously. "Two people can date but not necessarily be boyfriend and boyfriend, girlfriend and girlfriend or boyfriend and girlfriend." I say softly.

He nods a bit and slowly releases me, his right hand pulling around to my waist, leaving a tingling feeling behind.

"Still friends?" I ask softly.

He nods a bit and smiles. "Yeah. Of course," he says and goes back to our group of friends at the bowling lane.

I watch him leave then look at Red and then walk back to my seats d sit down, watching as everyone takes their turn to roll a bowling ball down the lane, until it's my turn occasionally.

"Hey, I don't think I ever properly introduced myself," a familiar voice says from above me as I'm retying my shoelaces.

I look up and end up seeing Red in front of me.

"I'm Michael. But you can call me Red," he says and smiles then holds his hand out to shake.

"TJ. But you can call me Tee." I say and shake his hand which he uses to pull me to my feet.

"Oh - uh.. Hi," I laugh nervously, looking up slightly to make eye contact with the brown eyed 21 year old man.

He smiles a bit. "Nice to meet you, Tee."

I can feel my heart beating so fast, I'm surprised he can't hear it. Or feel it at that matter considering that we're chest to chest. Almost.

I'm a bit shorter than him, so my chest is a tiny bit below his, and we're a couple centimeters apart from each other.

I nearly get lost in his eyes when Adam walks over and interrupts our chit chat.

"Tee, your turn to go up." He says and jabs his thumb over his shoulder.

I turn to go grab my ball, but get distracted by Cass who's staring at someone.

I look over and see who she's looking at but completely ignore exactly who it is she's looking at.

I pick up my bowling ball and carry it to the lane then take a few steps forward and roll it down the lane where it then hits a strike.

"Nice!" Adam says and I hear him, Red, Ross and.. Basically everyone we're here with, clapping.

I smile and take a little bow then go back to my seat and cross my legs then look down at my phone.

A few seconds later, I look up and watch everyone bowl.

Finally, after about another ten minutes, we all decide we're going to leave.

"Can we go to a park?" I ask everyone and look around at them. "And just be who we all were as kids?"

Adam looks around at everyone before smiling and nodding. "Yeah, why not?" He says and unlocks his car. "Whoever wants to go is more than welcome," Adam calls over his shoulder as he gets into the car.

I jump into the passenger seat and look out my window, watching as he pulls out of the parking spot.

"I'll lead everyone to a park," Adam says after stopping beside Max.

Max nods and calls over to Red as Adam rolls his window up.

They communicate for a couple of seconds before Max holds a thumb up to us.

Only about eight minutes later, Adam has us parked at a park with nobody in it.

I hop out and jog over to the swing set then sit on one of them and kick myself off of the bark dust.

I swing for a few seconds before I get distracted by an uneven bar, side by side of each other that kids usually use to do pull ups or something on.

I look over at everyone, who are just now walking up to the park.

I look around and see multiple things that distract me from one another.

I look at the uneven bars and jog over then hang upside down on one of them, quickly grabbing the bottom of my shirt and pulling it back so it doesn't show my belly.

"Tee- don't you dare fall!" Adam calls over.

"I won't!" I call back and swing myself right side up so I'm sitting on top of the bar.

Adam gives me a look, his eyes slightly narrowed.

I laugh a bit, knowing exactly why he's giving me that look, so I jump down and walk over to him.

"What's up?" I ask, acting like I don't know why he's giving me that look.

"You know you're bones are more fragile because of your cancer," Adam says, raising his eyebrows slightly. "You need to be more careful."

I roll my eyes and smile a bit. "I'm not a baby, Adam." I laugh.

"Tee," he places a hand on my shoulder, making my eyes lock onto his. "I'm being serious. I don't want you getting hurt, or putting your life in any more danger than it already is."

I sigh and nod slowly then smile a bit. "I understand." I say softly.

He smiles a bit and nods. "Good." He says softly and removes his hand from my shoulder, letting me go play and be a kid again, reliving my childhood better than it was just a few years ago.
