Jungkook frowned hearing the loud ringing of his phone.. he tried to turn around when a shooting pain passed through his shoulder as a groan left his mouth

' Hey Kook...easy there'

He heard someone say. Jungkook opened his eyes slowly adjusting to the sudden bright light... His frown deepened when he saw a very concerned looking Jin beside him and that's when it hit him Tae was attacked

' Hyung Tae? Where is he? Is he f-'

' Relax Jungkook' Jin held him helping him to sit up..back leaning on to the headboard

' Hyung?'

' Tae is alright...he was just scared... can't blame him...Blood has always freaked him out since that day' Jin said as he adjusted the IV bottle..
' He was here till now... I somehow made him go and sleep... You were out for a day Jungkook'

' A day?' Jungkook's eyes widened

' Your shoulder was dislocated and your head was badly wounded... There are bruises all over your body' Jin said sitting beside him.. 'Taehyung was crying non stop till the doctor assured him that you are fine....he insisted on bringing you back home..' Jin said and that's when he noticed that he was back in Tae's home

' There is one thing that the doctor wanted to know from us.. but since he is an old friend of Joon he didn't pressurize us' Jin continued

' What?' Jungkook raised a brow

' The mark on your back' Jin saw the way Jungkook turned his head to the other side.. ' Look at me Jungkook'

Jungkook hesitantly looked at Jin ' It was you who wanted this.... Even though am with you...I don't want you to hurt yourself... And Kook am not understanding one thing...Why are you not doing anything to him? How long are you going to let him roam around freely Jungkook? Don't forget what he has done to you...to us...I know you loved Tae...that doesn't mean you will forget what your aim is and just go all soft again protecting Taehyung'

' Don't worry hyung... it's all going according to the plan... I just want him to trust me enough before I strike and thanks for being with me in this... I never thought you'd trust me' Jungkook paused ' But what about you hyung? Will you be able to live without him? You all are a family'

' I don't care anymore Kook... I'll be more than fine. He should suffer for everything he has done to us... I lost my everything because of him' Jin said as his voice deepened.... But Jungkook could clearly see through him..he could see how hurt Jin was.. ' Jungkook ah...'

' Yes hyung'

'Are you sure it's-'

Just then Jungkook's phone rang again cutting Jin in the middle

' Oh Kook.. I forgot to tell you...' Jin stood up taking the phone from the night stand 'Some Min hyung is calling you from yesterday evening.. I didn't know who it is and what to say so I didn't take the call'

' Shit...no...give me the phone' Jungkook said taking the phone with his hand which was not hurt as he dialled some number

Jin saw the way the younger bit his lips as he waited for someone to pick the call up

' Where the hell where you Jungkook?' A voice was heard from the other side and Jungkook closed his eyes

' Hyung...am sorry.. I was too busy yesterday that's why I couldn't visit you... sorry... and I dozed off the second I came back'

Jin laughed seeing the younger pouting Might be his hyung who is sick... they seem pretty close.... Jin sighed remembering the time they used to bicker like this oh..but what disease is he dealing with?? I forgot to ask him.. I'll ask him afterwards Jin stood up to leave but froze at his place when he heard what Jungkook said next

' Jungkookiee is sorry Yoongi hyungiie'

Jin felt his breath getting stuck when he heard the name Yoongi? Yoongi is sick?

Jungkook saw the way Jin was staring at him now

' Shut up brat... don't scare me like this ok?' Yoongi laughed lightly

' No hyung... This was the last time' Jungkook promised

' Kook.. I have an appointment this weekend in the evening...' Yoongi trailed off

' Send me the time hyung... I'll pick you up' Jungkook said

' Ok then... You go back to work... and stay safe kid' Yoongi said ending the call

' You were talking ab-about Yoon when you said that your hyung was sick?' Jin asked..his throat going dry

' Yeah' Jungkook nodded...he could see the struggle in Jin's eyes

' What is.. wrong with him?...You said he is sick' Jin had his heart in his mouth

' His heart is failing'

Time stopped for Jin when he heard that... His Yoongi had been suffering and he had no idea about it?

' C-cure i-'

' Transplant could help...' Jungkook cut him off.

' Can I help please?' Jin almost begged..' In any way'

' Yeah...' Jungkook nodded and saw Jin's face lighting up  'He still misses you...just talk to him once'

' I can't' Jin shook his head ' He should hate me for what I did.... I broke our promise Kook'

' You didn't have any other way Hyung... You were helpless... Yoongi hyung still loves you the way he did years back' Jungkook said..his own voice breaking seeing Jin's misery

' No no... He should hate me Jungkook... I left him all alone when he needed me the most... I should have stayed for him....' Jin cried

' Jin hyung enough' Jungkook's voice was cold ' We all know why all this is happening... Stop blaming yourself '

' Kook I can't meet him...am too ashamed of myself' Jin wiped his tears off

' Hy-'

' JK you woke up?'

Jungkook looked at the door to see a relieved looking Taehyung with Jimin and Hobi with him

' Thankgod you woke up....' Taehyung said taking long steps towards him 'I was so scared' Taehyung whispered as he hugged his bodyguard

Jungkook's body went rigid for a while... Jin had a small playful smile now...

' Thankyou for saving me' Taehyung said pulling back... ' And am sorry for the dumb shit I did'

Jungkook just stared at the boy in front of him not knowing how to react

' JK.... I know this is your duty..but Thankyou so much for keeping our kid safe' Hobi said smiling ' We all were too scared when we saw Tae like that...but thanks to you he is here with us even without a single scratch'

' Hoseok shi... You all don't have to thank me... I was just doing my job... ' Jungkook smiled

All this while Jimin was silently standing near the door which didn't go unnoticed by Jin

' You should rest now...we will be going... I have made food for you and Tae..have that and Taehyung make sure he takes his medicine' Jin said as Taehyung nodded

' Jin hy- Sir' Jungkook called ' I..needed a leave this weekend... I have to take my hyung to his doctor'

' You are not working for a week' Taehyung crossed his arms over his chest

' A week? Mr Kim its too much... Just a day will be enough...I can't afford to have that much hours cut from my work... I need the money' Jungkook sighed

' Then you are not working today and tomorrow and you must take your medicines on time.. end of discussion' Taehyung said with finality as Jungkook just stared at him

Don't do this to me Tae... Go back to all rude on me... Hate me Tae... Don't make me weak

' Ok then we'll get going' Hobi smiled one last time at Jungkook as he left with Jin and Jimin

' I'll do one thing... I'll bring your food ok' Taehyung was about to go out when Jungkook stopped him

' You don't have to take care of me Mr Kim... Am fine by myself'

Taehyung frowned hearing that ' JK you are hurt because of me and its my responsibility to take ca-'

' Am not hurt because of you ok?' Jungkook said cutting him off ' I saved you so that your hyungs won't realize that I actually give no fuck about you... As I told you before..  I need to save my brother and for that I need this job.. that's all..I don't care if you live or..die...as long as am getting paid well' Jungkook closed his eyes drawing in a deep breath

' I don't know who you are or why do you seem so familiar... I don't know how you know me nor do I know why you hate me as if I have ruined your life... But I know that a part of you care for me... We have met just days before but I can see the care in your eyes JK...' Taehyung said trying his best to prevent his voice from wavering as he walked towards the elder 'And I know that behind this cold facade hides a warm heart... You are that angel about which you told me...the angel who is full of scars... torn and broken...you a-'

' Am no angel Kim! Am a monster who won't even think twice before killing anyone' Jungkook growled

' Anyone who harm your loved ones...' Taehyung looked directly at him...' You are someone who was forced to become a monster'

'You don't know shit about me Kim so shut the fuck up'
Don't.....please stop this Taehyung Jungkook was trying his best to not give in

' I know' Taehyung's voice dropped one or two octaves low as he leaned down towards the elder's face their breath mingling 'Because you never can kill a monster without becoming one'

Jungkook's heart beat at an uncontrollable pace... A part of him wanted to push away the younger Where as the other part just wanted to lean in and close the space between them... 

Jungkook released a breath he didn't know he was holding when Taehyung pulled back standing straight

' I know there is more to you... Jin hyung and you are hiding something and I promise that I'll find out what it is JK...' Taehyung said turning around ' Oh and... I'll make sure that your act of hating me also falls by then and you will become so addicted to me that for every scar that adorns me..you will be the one bleeding'

' I'll gladly bear even the pain of your deepest wound Taehyung' Jungkook's deep voice made the CEO stop in his tracks ' But a single scrape on you and the world will see the devil they have unleashed...'

Taehyung smirked as he looked at Jungkook one final time before walking out of the room

Taehyung almost jumped when a hand wrapped around his wrist the moment he got out of Jungkook's room.. pulling him towards the kitchen

' Namjoonie hyung? What's wrong?' Taehyung asked as the elder left his wrist

' Taehyung...you are misunderstanding' Namjoon said desperately

' You know about JK...' Taehyung mumbled ' You were also cheating me'

' Cheating? Taehyung just don't imagine anything yet listen' Namjoon was getting frustrated... everything is getting too much for him

' JK was right' Taehyung said as if he was talking to himself ' He was right'..

' Taehyung ah please listen to hyung' Namjoon said walking towards Taehyung but froze when he heard what came next

' He was right when he said that trust gets you killed' Taehyung looked straight at Namjoon..his eyes filling with betrayal and doubt 'I trusted you and Jin hyung with my life and you guys are hiding I don't know what..from me... You both appointed a bodyguard who hates with his everything..who won't care even if I bleed to death...'

' We just want to keep you safe' Namjoon was loosing his temper

' Where were you when I went live yesterday?' Taehyung asked his piercing gaze never leaving his hyung

' What?'

' Jin hyung Jiminie and Hobi hyung were with me.. they all came the second they saw me going live...even JK who I think doesn't know about my past was with me... where were you hyung?'

' Tae.. I..' Namjoon trailed off not knowing what to say

' You weren't at Vante...nor in your office... Jimin had to pick you up from somewhere near to the place where we were attacked...what were you doing there hyung?'

' Don't' Namjoon's jaw clenched as he tried to suppress his emotions but Taehyung was not listening to him

' That night six years ago...in your house hyung... How were they able to get into your own house even without actually breaking any locks? The passcode should have been correct for that to happen...How did they know the correct passcode to your house?' Taehyung was crying by this time...his tears getting harshly wiped off

' Taehyung ah... it's not what-'

' Are you the one who is behind me?' Taehyung finally asked it...the questions which were bugging him for the past six years. He saw the way Namjoon's eyes looked pain.. but he has to ask this now... ' Is...is it you who wants to kill m-'

' Hyung!!'

Namjoon's hand stilled just before it touched his brother's face when he heard the loud voice...he saw how badly Taehyung flinched when he raised his hand

' Don't touch him' Jungkook said as he slowly limped towards Taehyung who looked dazed

' You heard what he said?' Namjoon asked..his voice mixed with hurt and anger

Jungkook sighed as he stood beside Taehyung who was trying hard to control his sobs

' Go home Hyung... Jimin must be waiting' Jungkook said

' I shouldn't have raised my hand' Namjoon looked at Taehyung 'I never thought that you'd doubt your own hyungs but...JK is the only one who can save you Tae'

With that Namjoon walked out leaving Taehyung and Jungkook alone

' You were oddly silent since yesterday's incident' Jin turned around looking at Jimin as he sat on the driver's seat

' Yeah...I too noticed that...you ok Jimin ah?' Hobi asked

' I got a new case... The Busan paper factory owner's' Jimin said lowly

' The one who was murdered right?' Hobi voiced out ' What was his name again? Hajin or something...'

' Yeah...' Jimin mumbled ' Kim Hajin'

' Something like that happened?' Jin asked ' I didn't know that a murder happened in Busan...'

Hobi frowned hearing that He was also there when I saw the news he thought but shrugged it off Must have forgotten because of work load

' Hyung...' Jimin called as Jin hummed in reply his eyes still fixed on to the road ' Hajin was the one who broke into Namjoon Hyung's home six years ago on that night'
