By all means, quit and find another job if your current one is making you unhappy.

Easier said than done. Nakakapanghinayang din kasi ang eight years of stay ko sa current work ko. I started here as an associate, hanggang sa ngayon na manager na ako.
Hindi 'yon madaling itapon.

I understand that. But staying there despite feeling miserable isn't healthy.
I know it's work, but we should also enjoy what we're doing for a living.

Alam ko naman 'yon. Still, the idea of starting over again at a completely different environment is a bit scary to consider.

I imagine it'll be less daunting if you'll work somewhere with already a lot of familiar faces.

Para maiba naman, I guess? Don't get me wrong; I love my family. Pero nakakasawa rin kung pati sa office, mga mukha nila ang makikita ko. At least, that's what I thought after I passed the board exams and started to hunt for a job.

You've always been a free spirit, haven't you? Most people who are privileged enough to come from a family with a successful business won't even think of working someplace else. But not you.

Ayoko lang din na laging sa easy way ko nakukuha ang mga bagay-bagay.
Like my career. I can still be a successful professional even if I'm outside my family's sphere of influence. Strong, independent woman kaya ako.
