Having to be finally sent to an actual school, after years of being homeschooled, is such a torture for Kim Taehyung.

He was diagnosed with a heart disease back when he was just an eight years old child---making him unable to go out and study, at all.

They flew all the way from Korea, back to his mother's hometown in California, with the hopes of seeking more effective and guaranteed medical help there.

During his stay---he had undergone lots of treatments, surgeries and therapies. He had drank lots of bitter medicines. He had cried so many sleepless nights, thinking of leaving his family behind.

And all of it lasted until he reached the age of 12. He fought his cancer for almost 4 years! His happiness was beyond words.

Truth to be told, he was more than glad that he is finally cured---able to live like a normal person again. Do things that a normal person would.

Again.

After all the chaos---they managed to flew back to Korea and Taehyung continued his studies there. He was homeschooled during his entire high school life, making him miss lots of things as a teenager.

He was hospitalized for years, so it was such a huge disadvantage for him as a high schooler.

All this time, all he did was to study all the things he missed from when he was 8 years old, 'till his current age.

But he managed to pass all of those with the big brain of his.

So, he is now walking down the corridors of Seoul National University with his childhood friend, Park Jimin, touring him inside the massive campus.

He has known Jimin for as long as he lived. But being a year older than Taehyung, Jimin is now on his 2nd year, making him his senior.

And that's why Jimin's now touring the blonde guy around his beloved campus. Showing and telling him things that he has come to know in his two years of experience in SNU.

"You know what, V? We should really get you a boyfriend like- ASAP!" Jimin exclaimed while chewing the big piece of burger he just munched on.

They are currently in the cafeteria.

Peacefully eating their foods after the tiresome tour---It is the first day of school, and there's still nothing much to do yet.

So they didn't bother attending their classes, and deciding to spend the rest of their school time accompanying each other instead.

Taehyung just gave his friend a slight smile, before taking a bite on his own burger.

Soft fluffy cheeks now decorated with red hues as he remembers the reason why his friend suddenly came up with the idea of him dating someone.

Can't help it! Haebom's just so cute. He thought to himself as he smiled while munching on his food.

Thinking about that particular manhwa character that he has been telling Jimin about for the past 30 minutes.

A sudden gasp is the one that brought him out of his 'lovely' trance---shocking Taehyung who has stopped biting on his burger just to see if his friend was okay.

Only to find Jimin looking at him like he just saw a ghost passed by.

"W-Why? What happened, Chim?" he asked, taking a sip on his orange juice.

The pink haired boy pointed his finger accusingly at him. The frown on his face still never leaving, making the blonde head more confused than he already is.

"Why?" he asked again. Louder this time.

"Did you just see that?"

"See what?"

"Bitch, you were smiling while eating your burger!?" he gasped out "Have you become a lovesick fool!?"

Hearing his statement---Taehyung sighed to himself. Dropping the burger down to his tray as he turned to look at his friend again.

"Jiminie... I don't know what has gotten to you nowadays, but..." he trailed off, leaving Jimin with his mouth hanging open.

"You're weird." Taehyung admitted, giving the pink haired boy a scoff. Jimin was baffled by the sudden confrontation.

Eyes still gaping at Taehyung, making the blonde boy laugh his heart out.

Not so soon after; a mint and a raven head came into their sights, as Jimin stood up to guide them towards his and Taehyung's seat, while the latter sat still---so engaged with the book that he's reading to even notice anything else around him.

Scrapping sounds were heard as soon as the newcomers took seats beside both Jimin and him. He could see the mint head sitting beside Jimin from his peripheral vision, while the ravenette took a seat beside him.

Not failing to notice the stares that he's getting from one of the newcomers.

"Hi!" says someone.

Taehyung raised his head up from the book that he's holding, to find the source of the sweet yet unfamiliar voice.

"Was that you?" Taehyung asks the man in front of him, but the mint head shook his head in denial. "U-Uhh okay"

"Hi!" there it goes again, but this time, a hand waved just before his face---letting him know who the culprit is.

A beautiful and friendly smile was drawn on to the ravenette's handsome face when Taehyung turned to look at him.

Confusion and awkwardness were visible on Taehyung's face as he is usually not good with socializing.

Having to be homeschooled for almost all of your life is---I'm repeating---a torture.

The ravenette snapped his fingers in front of Taehyung's eyes when the blonde failed to answer his question, seemingly lost by his own thoughts.

Taehyung shaked his head in an attempt to focus on the current situation he is in.

He. Is. Doomed!

He can't socialize at all, let alone talk with a stranger. How is he supposed to converse with this guy beside him?

"Uhh hello... i guess?" he finally said with hesitation, awkward smile lingering on his lips, as he stared right straight into the other male's eyes to avoid awkwardness.

But his smile and actions says otherwise, and this made the ravenette chuckle. "Just how cute can you be?"

This took Taehyung off-guard---a blush making it's way on his cheeks as he occasionally turns his head to Jimin's direction to seek for help.

But the pink haired male was too busy flirting with the mint haired boy to even notice his uneasyness around these new people.

"Hey! Don't be afraid, I won't bite..." the ravenette said trailing off in the end. His mouth seemingly not running out of words. "Unless you want me to."

"Umm" The ravenette chuckled yet again at the very little response he got from Taehyung---finding the latter really adorable.

"Just kidding! Just kidding! My name is Jeon Jeongguk, by the way. Nice meeting you!" 'Jeongguk' offered him his hand for a handshake after the introduction, smiling up at the blonde.

Taehyung blushed and hesitated for a second, before lending his hand out. Accepting the offer.

"N-Nice meeting y-you too, my name is Kim Taehyung." he finally said after a few seconds. Stuttering a bit due to his inexperience with socializing.

"Woah! Such a beautiful name for a beautiful guy like you. It suits you well, hun." the Jeongguk guy said---once again leaving him a blushing mess.

"T-Thank you!"

"Ahem!"

A loud clearing of throat could be heard nearby as they both turned to look at the source of sound---only to find both Jimin and the mint head now intensely looking at them.

"What?" Taehyung softly said, sounding confused as hell, as he gave his best friend a questioning look.

Jimin raised his brow at him in response, resting his arms above his chest. "What's that?"

Jeongguk and Taehyung looked at each other before turning their heads back to Jimin, who's now cocking his eyebrows at them.

"U-Uh what?" Taehyung asked back, and Jimin just gave him an eye roll in return.

"Nevermind!" the pink haired male said, giving up on his attempt on making the latter give him a decent answer---when he knows just how naive Taehyung can be sometimes.

Jimin then turned to look at the mint head beside him, and linked his arms on his'---surprising Taehyung with the sudden action.

The pink haired smiled at the mint head. His eyes turning into the shape of crescent as he did so.

"Yoongi, this is Kim Taehyung, my best friend!" Jimin started, pointing at Taehyung who is still confused as fuck. "And Tae, this is Min Yoongi..."

Taehyung just looked at him expectantly as he trailed off at the end of his sentence.

Jimin raised both of their hands that's now laced with each other's, and Taehyung finally noticed the little but genuine smile that the mint head has on his face as Jimin showed him their linked hands and arms.

"My boyfriend" the pink haired blurted out, surprising Taehyung once again by the sudden revelation.

The blonde male sighed. It was indeed a very eventful day for him.

Let's wrap it all up and call it a day.
