"Kameela, you're confusing me a lot. Just admit it already that he's not going to- " She said in her calmest tone as if she's taking the defeat but I'm not going to keep this away any longer so I cut in. "He's here already. "

She looked around us once again with more attentive and shrugged her shoulders. "Where? "

"Right beside me. Just straight infront of you. " I let her know and she stared at me like I went crazy. Her eyes eventually gazing up and down to the side which I told her.

"This isn't a joke, Cabello. You're playing hide and seek with me, huh? " I knew that this is going to be her first expression.

"No, Lisa. I'm serious. He's right beside me, it's just....you can't see him but I can. He's more like invisible. " I explained the only thing that I had thought to be weird about us and she looked at me for two seconds before laughing out aloud, until I feared that she might lead all the neighbors to my door right now.

"Is this some kind of movie like, The Invisible Man or....Hollow Man? Eh? " She was clearly regaled our of my confession.

"Laugh all you want, but I'm serious that I'm telling the truth. " I stood my ground as I knew that she wouldn't believe me easily.

How can I even expect that she would believe me at the first place? She even hates fantasy or sci-fi movies just because of the illogical or impossible scenes.

Hearing my strong exclamation, she stopped mocking me eventually and stared at me with concern while standing up to walk in my direction. "Cabello, having imaginary boyfriend is fine until you only imagine them in your brain but in reality, that will never work. You will find a nice man soon but please don't imagine- "

"Lisa! He's not an imaginary boyfriend, okay? He's right here beside me. I know that you wouldn't believe me and no one will, but....this is the truth. " I tried my best to convince her and she took a minute before nodding her head.

"Fine! Then, proof it? " She demanded as she had her arms across her chest. Eyes sternly narrowed at me.

Proof it? How can I proof it without scaring her away?

"What should we do, baby? " He asked me, loud enough for any to hear.

"But....I can't- " I was stopped in middle of my words when I saw her eyes doubling in size.

"Wait, that's....that's the same male voice I heard from your phone that day. Did you hear that? " She asked me with a frown and it was my turn to be surprise right now.

She can hear him!

"You heard it? "

"Yes, he just asked of what should you guys be doing? With a baby on it. " Lisa answered, still frowning over the hidden agenda. "He sounds so close though, is he in the call or something? " She was deliberate to know how is it possible and fetched my handphone away from me, checking the notifications and caller IDs to know whether any call trespassed or not.

"He's not in the call. Then, how come-"

"Lisa, you can hear me in person? " He was astonished just like me.

She gasped and her words died midway on her words as she quickly flinched away from her left, for now really feeling his voice closer. Her breathing going uneven. "See! Y-You can hear it too, right? What was that, Kameela? " She held onto my hand now for cover.

"That is what I'm telling you. He's not an imaginary boyfriend, he's like a human too but you guys couldn't see him....that's it! "

"That's it? Oh my God, you have been worshipping a ghost all this time? Wait! Now, I could hear him too? " Her eyes bulged out in her own revelation. She began fanning all over her face as sweats dripped surrounding her forehead. "I....I need holy waters! Y-You definitely need them too, Kameela. I need to get us out right now! " She yelled in awareness as she took a hold of my hand to drag me along but I stopped her.

I held onto both her arms in a firm grip and tried my luck to explain it to her again. "Listen, Lisa! He's not a ghost, okay? He even have legs. You should calm down." I comforted her.

"Calm down, my ass! You're hypnotized by a ghost or...." She paused herself, thinking something again. "...are we in coma?Daydreaming or something? Yes, I'm daydreaming. Please slap me as hard as you can, Cabello. I need to wake up right now. " She ran out of breath instantly as she said it all in a go.

I inhaled and started back my persuading. "For God's sake, you're not dreaming, Lisa. I-"

I quit myself from saying anything as I saw him coming next her. Taking a hold of her hand while raising it to his shoulder. "You can touch me, see. I'm real and not a ghost. Well, not a human either but still somewhat like a human? "

Oh, shit!

I know that from her perspective, it would be like her hand flew on it's own and landed on something solid which is transparent. Yet just like I assumed, her eyes snapped up to her hand on his shoulder and she swallowed a huge lump of saliva down her throat loudly.

She got stilled for few seconds and I right away know of what is she up to. "Shh, Lisa. Don't freak out, I know it's a lot to take but let's we not bother any of my neighbors. It's late on night right now and we both know of how this will come by if you shout on top of your lungs. " I told her very slowly as if cooing a baby from crying out aloud.

I knew that she's going to burst out in screams anytime if I never warn her.

Surprisingly, she nodded while taking her hand off his shoulder bit by bit and she caress it with her another hand quickly.

"Take a deep breath and calm down. Okay? " She's even so in the similar state of bewilderment but followed my instructions and after inhaling enough air for her respirations, she kicked off with soft laughing. Not out of humour or courtesy, but the scared one.

And then, she fainted dramatically while mumbling, "Please hold me, Cabello. "

"Lisa! " I nearly yelled as I catched her falling body and Love God helped me to take her back to the couch.

Of course, she didn't faint for real and she's still in consciousness. I'm facing the world class drama queen, I swear.

"I know that you're in conscious, Lisa. You think I'm that stupid? " I huffed and she snapped her eyes open right away, her body sitting up on the couch with an angry glare.

"Yes, you're stupid. You're practically living with a ghost or....invisible man and never told me a word about it! Stupid is you and you are stupid. "

I sighed, massaging my temples slowly and I heard his sweet whisper over my hearing as I felt his arms wrapping around me.

"I'm okay, Love God. " I confides him, knowing he's worried at my situation right now and he pecked my cheek.

"Love what? " She snapped, looking a little scared again.

"Lisa, this is what I meant. You don't have to be scared of him. He might be invisible for your eyes but not for me. Trust me, he's like a real human too and....I like him alot. " I confessed as I placed my hands over his arms around when I felt them tensing.

Her sight jabbed onto my hands and the way I'm standing as she looked back up at me, while trying to gaze at his side as well.

Sighing on her own right now, she whispered very calmly. "H-He's....what exactly? "

"We don't know that. I call him the Love God. But he eats, sleeps and would do everything just like a human does. "

She frowned in tranquility on my respond while looking away. Rapidly, she fetched for her phone and raised it over us. "That didn't work. I tried it already. " I told her and she puffed in displease, throwing her phone away.

"Uh-huh! " She noted as if she got another bulb on her head and looked at the glass pot of water I placed on the coffee table.

Urmm, what is she trying-

"Oh my God, Lisa! " I shrieked when she splashed the whole liters of water onto him and he was drenched completely.

When I looked back at her in horror, she was already staring at him with a 'o' mouth. "He is....real. " She muffled under her breath, still visible for me to listen.

"She can see me? " My Love God muttered in utter disbelief of what's happening and there's even spots of tears welling on the corner of his eyes.

Aww, Love God! I want to hug him and give him a big kiss right now.

"Of course, I can! Not that clear, it is just your silhouette. But I definitely can see a man there. " Lisa replied, still curiously eyeing over him.

"Baby....I....I'm like a normal person now. " He says softly as he still gave that look of unbelievable, his hands roaming around his body. The happy tears scrolling it's way through his cheeks.

I dragged myself to him and wrapped my hands around his neck, leaning in to plant a huge kiss on his lips to convey my happiness as well. He had his arms around me instantly and gently picked me up, twirling me on air in excitement.

He's turning into a human real soon. I can feel the day coming closer right now. It would definitely be a life-changing day for me.

When we came out of our moment, we shared a brief glance to each other and stared back at her as we catch her watching us with a smile and I knew she got along.

"What? Okay, this does sounded insane at the beginning and I really thought that I'm in coma. But after seeing all this....I think it is real when people say to put a faith on the impossible. On top of that...." She paused briefly before continuing. "....my best friend had found the man for herself so if she's happy with that, than nothing's going to stop me from supporting you guys. "

"And....wait....how can I call you again? Love....God? " The question was directed to him, even though she couldn't be able to look him in the eyes.

"You can call me Smith. That was my choice of name and....Love God is for Kameela. I prefer only her to call me that but no one else. " He informed with a look of adoration on me and a little flushed cheeks as his arms tighten around my waist.

"Okay, okay. I got it! So, Smith, I'm sorry if I hurt you indirectly. I have never imagine to experience something like this before and....this is so much to take in, you know. "

"There's no need to say sorry, Lisa. I totally understand you. No one would have believed us in the first place either. " He replied and we pulled away from each other so that I could reach to Lisa for a hug.

"Thank you, Lisa. " I let know softly, feeling tears gambling on my own eyes.

"Stop it, Cabello. I promised you that I will be there for you, no matter what so I'm just playing the role here and you better stop crying! " She scolded like the mother she is and I laughed, wiping those tears away. 

Later, she had some small yet still-so-awkward talks with my Love God and I knew that she needs time to normalize this.

I, then, insisted him to go change into dry clothes as I served the dinner for all of us and her annoyance filled cries for Ricardo's long disappearances echoed all over the house.

"I'm gonna give him a fine punishment for this. I know that he would do something like this. Ugh, that idiot! "She rant and rave while forking the chicken slices aggressively.

"And, Cabello, let's not say any of this to Ricky, okay? I will tell to him myself because, man....he would have made a massive scene if he saw what I saw. " I agreed to her. Taking the hint right away to zip up infront Ricardo.

"I would have made a huge scene, huh? Try me, then. " I was shocked on his sudden appearance as he came to the dining table and take a seat beside Lisa, who's equally shocked like I do.

Just as if the God had planned to ruin our decision, my Love God came in my view and I got choked on my eating as I begin coughing. He never knows about what she says on telling Ricardo and what if he shows up any of his maneuvering, thinking that we are known now?

"You okay? " Ricky asked me with concern and Lisa mouthed a 'Is he here already?' in mute.

"I'm okay, don't need to be worry. " I nodded my head secretly at her while answering him quickly. My hands continue patting on my chest.

"Baby, what happened? " I heard my Love God's disquiet lower pitch of shrieking.

"Eh? Baby, who? " Ricardo begun with a baffled tone.

The dining table take a joggle on my Love God's panic long strides to me while hitting himself on the edges of the table without knowing the impact he caused.

"The fuck? " Ricardo cursed, jerking away from the table in total blow. "Earthquake! " He bawled after sometimes of doubting, as if he knew what's exactly happening.

"What? Under the table now guys! " And that was my Love God, yelling in all his wills.

Lisa and I shared an awkward brief look towards each other as I did a rapid heads up of prayers, hoping I will not be having any police officer to knock on my door for noise nuisance tonight.
