《Creating The Character》

If you are having trouble with creating a good character that will impress the readers, why not try the experiences you have experienced in life. Confused? Let me explain, first.

You see, we mostly write our stories because of what we see and what we learn.

"If you had some issues with trust, why not let your character have some trust issues."

"If you had some issues with friends, why not let your character have some friend issues."

"If you had some issues with love, why not let your character have some love issues."

But make sure it makes sense why they have this issue. Write it down on your character's profile (keep it on a notebook or something)

What's a character's profile?

"A character's profile is about the character's... well, everything."

Why write a character's profile? Do I need to write one?

"It's your choice! If you want your story to be organized then sure, go ahead :)"

What should I write on a character's profile?

"Write their...

Name

Age

Birthday

Eye Color

Hair Color

Height

Weight

Personality

Habit (weird or not)

Family Background

Current Problem

How will they conqure this problem?

Yeah, something like that but you can add more if you wanna and I take no credit on this one since I learned this from another writer so thank her."

Also when writing about this character, make sure that this character is not too perfect or too boring. It will bore the readers.

Also, how could I forget the names! (If you are writing an OC a.k.a. Own Character)

BTW, Yuki isn't the only Japanese name for girls, lol. Search it on Google!

It doesn't have to be too extraordinary (their names) It can be a simple name :3

Don't be disappointed if your readers dislike your OC, it's just that some people have different opinons.

Additional Tip: If you are introducing your character, Don't do this..

"Hi I'm (Character's Name) and I'm blah blah blah..."

You don't need to introduce them only at school. Find a different way to introduce them and use your creativity!
