"There are moments in my life that I'll always remember, not because they were important, but because you were there."

"Haeun, honey, let's go sit down, hm?"
Her two- year-old daughter, in Jennie's arms, nodded, sleepily rubbing her eyes in a cute manner. In addition to this heartwarming action, she yawned and burrowed her face in her mother's neck.
Jennie's gummy smile appeared on her face, and she and Haeun walked over to the nearby benches.
Placing her daughter down, the global sensation handed her a bag of popcorn that she bought and took out her phone.
While fumbling with it, she mumbled, "Let's call your father and brother."
Jennie's fingers swiftly typed in the number of her husband, who was currently with their son. After all, it would be immature to leave him alone.
The dial tone was heard in the crisp air, sounding through them before Jennie's husband spoke, "Hello?"
"Appa!" Haeun shrieked, climbing onto her mother's lap, excitedly reaching for the innocent phone.
Haeun's father's deep chuckle was heard, and it made Jennie smile. Even after years of being together, Jennie was still head over heels for him.
"How are you, princess?"
"I'm good, Appa! Where are you and Oppa?"
"Your oppa is with me. Do you want to say hi, baby?"
"No, Appa. I'll just give it back to Eomma. Bye, Appa! Borahae!"
"Borahae, as well, princess."
As soon as the phone landed in the mist of Jennie's hand, Haeun jumped out of her mother's grip and munched on the popcorn.
"Hello?"
"Jennie, where are you?"
Jennie smiled. "With Haeun, you know."
"I meant where in the carnival are you, darling?"
Despite years of nicknames, Jennie would still blush when he called Jennie a pet name. It was endearing to Jennie.
"Sitting on a bench, near the Ferris wheel."
Haeun's cat eyes lit up at the mention of the popular machine. Both mother and daughter glanced at the Ferris wheel at the mention.
It was lit extraordinary, showcasing the setting sun. It's circular shape seemed unrealistic, and you could see the screaming of some people, the excitement in some, or the shock in others. It was a truly beautiful scene, and that's what made it so euphoric, if you could say.
"Jennie, your son and I are coming," he said, a smile heard through his voice.
"Okay, jagiya," Jennie mumbled back, a small blush etched on her cheeks.
A moment later, Jennie watched as her husband and her son walked up, the first glance of them near the deck.
"Haeun, baby, look! Appa and Oppa," Jennie laughed, pointing at the two childishly, before dissolving into a fit of giggles with her daughter, who ecstatically responded with the same reaction.
Her husband, Kim Taehyung, was holding hands with their three-year-old son, Taehee. As much as you want to bully me for picking such a name, just know that it has "Tae" in it, and that's all I need to know.
Taehee was bouncing up and down, excited to see his eomma.
Taehyung and Taehee just looked so nice together. Both were incredibly handsome (like father, like son), and both had a knack for being Jennie's every happiness, of course along side Haeun.
Seeing her little family, Jennie smiled, happy. It was always her dream to have a small, complete family, and it was finally here.
Taehyung and Taehee arrived, and while Jennie picked up Taehee in her arms and wrapped him in a kiss, Taehyung gave his greetings to them, kissing both Jennie and Haeun on the forehead.
The small family all got up and started walking around as they talked, Taehee on Taehyung' arms and Haeun on her father, her legs around his neck. Jennie watched the scene with her heart fluttering.
After Taehyung and Jennie got together again, it was a smooth sailing. Partially because Jennie threatened him to up his game, otherwise she would leave him again. He was too scared to lose her again. But it was also because Taehyung came to terms with his feelings about Jennie. He really did love her and it wasn't just a fake relationship. Jennie was the perfect girl.
And she still is. The only thing that's changed is that now she's the beautiful mother of two lovely children and much happier than her high school years.
If she was being honest, she would have never thought her life would lead to this, but in truth, she couldn't be happier with the love of her life.
Taehyung has truly changed from his horrid high school years, and he was thankfully not the same boy. He matured and he's a caring father towards Taehee and Haeun.
After high school, since BTS debuted, and it was a... rocky start. But Taehyung had Jennie by his side.
Jennie supported him with whatever his decisions were. She adapted to his mood, to his circumstances. She did whatever it took to be the perfect wife.
Speaking of marriage, Taehyung and Jennie married before debut, to prevent any scandals and ensure trust in Jennie. Not that she didn't.
They welcomed their first child, Taehee, during Taehyung's debut year, 2013. In 2014, they welcomed Haeun.
During Taehyung's early years, BTS struggled a lot financially, but they never lost hope. And now, in 2016, they were very popular.
BLACKPINK was a monster rookie group, freshly debuted and hot on the charts. Although it was a bit risky to go out together in public, this area was a place that nobody would have thought a Korean idol would come to.
Jin and Jisoo were also unknown to the public.
Jennie was officially on good terms with her father, and even trusted him to keep her children alone with him. Taehyung has trust issues with him initially, but it went away after he observed how her appa treated their children.
After a long day at the amusement park, Jennie tucked a tired Taehee and Haeun into the backseat, before going to the front seat.
Taehyung started the car and drove off, quietly chatting with Jennie, who never failed to make him smile.
"Did you send the payments to Mr. Lee?"
"No, I didn't. Did you?"
"No. Who's going to write the letter?" he joked, not realizing the impact of his words.
"Me —" Jennie froze when she came to conclusion.
Letters.
Letters!
She hadn't been reminded of those in years, and now that she had, she felt ready to show Taehyung. She didn't know what it was; maybe the fact that Taehyung had matured from his bullying antics, or maybe that he would be ready to see them. Either way, Jennie wanted to immensely show him.
"Taehyung?" Jennie asked, crossing her fingers together in a way that made a zigzag pattern, showcasing her anxiety.
This mere action did not escape Taehyung's eyes. So he put his hand on her thigh and tapped his fingers on it, looking at the road with a worried expression while saying, "What's wrong, baby?"
Jennie smiled at his actions. They were so sweet and lovable, in her eyes.
"Well, when we get home, can I show you something? It's a bit deep though."
"Of course! What is it though?"
"Well... when we're home, I'll show you, okay?" Jennie said, her gummy smile showing through.
"Alright, Jendeukie," he complied with a sigh.
♛
When they reached their cozy home, Jennie picked up Taehee and Haeun, while Taehyung brought all the treats and objects they bought from their enjoyable day.
Since their two children were fast asleep, Jennie quickly changed them into more suitable clothing for sleep, and then placed them in their beds with a kiss on their foreheads.
When she reached downstairs, changed into her pajamas and a box with her letters hung by her arm, she saw Taehyung in a white shirt and blue sweatpants, scrolling through the sea of TV channels.
When he spotted Jennie, he smiled. Then, he patted the spot next to him, indicating for her to sit next to him.
When Jennie approached the spot, she sat down and placed her metal box right next to her, on the other side of her, where Taehyung wasn't.
He obviously noticed this. Instead of dragging out a fight like he would've in high school, he simply raised an eyebrow in curiosity.
Jennie giggled and gave the box to him with the words, "These are the letters I wrote for you in high school. I actually planned to never give them to you, but you reminded me of them today and I wanted you to see what I really went through back then."
Taehyung nodded and opened them, and when he saw the Roman numerals, he thanked every molecule within him for the fact that his Jin-hyung made him memorize these with him.
He grabbed the first one and began to read.
♛
After twenty-five long letters, Taehyung was shocked. He honestly didn't know that his actions affected her that much.
Plus, his actions gave him so much embarrassment.
Taehyung looked at her, eyes squinting. "Can we please move over this? I don't like to be reminded of the fact that I hurt you, nor do I like the embarrassment."
Jennie laughed, taking back the box in which Taehyung had neatly stored the letters again.
"Alright. I love you~" Jennie said in a sing-song voice, wrapping her arms around him.
Taehyung stood up, pulling her up in the air, carrying her, with his nose against hers.
"I love you more, Jennie Kim~"
Jennie giggles at his childish yet romantic actions.
She was finally content with her life. No more trauma, no more pain.
The past was behind her and she could finally move forward to a new life.
A new chapter.
