Jisoo almost screamed.
The shock had prevented her from saying anything. She clasped her hand to her mouth, eyes staying focused on the floor in order to prevent tears. The phone on her ear remained as Jennie's voice, audibly shaking like the girl she was talking to, informed her on the state of the world.
"I have Lisa and Chaeyoung informed. They're heading over to the BigHit Entertainment building. YG is there too, and all of BTS are there right now. Seokjin Oppa couldn't call you because he's currently dealing with it himself at the building. The members have their activity for the next week canceled, as well as us, Unnie. Here, I'll link you the article in which Dispatch exposed both of you. Whatever you do, do not read the comments. Most of them are... directed at you."
Jisoo sucked in a deep breath, feeling a hot tear escape her eye as her lip wobbled. What would happen to Seokjin's career? Her kids would be under heavy criticism and the public eye at a young age... The hate comments were the least of her concern at this point.
Clicking on the article, Jisoo's eyes scanned her screen, which was temporarily removed from the side of her ear. It seemed like an average Dispatch article. They had said Jin and Jisoo were caught many times by their staff, and their kids were even captured on camera. The woman reading the article felt an anxious churn in her stomach.
Tapping on the comment section, Jisoo's eyes widened as she read the comments. Many of them expressed their disappointment and betrayal towards their oppa, some even sending death threats toward her. Many were also directed towards Jisoo, expressing how Jin didn't deserve her and she was quite unlucky. Fortunately, she also spotted some comments that showed their happiness and support towards the couple.
Sighing, she asked Jennie a question after pressing the phone again to her ear. "Jendeuk... does Seokjin hate me now?"
There was a surprised silence at the other end of the phone.
"Of course not! Unnie, it's out of your ability that Dispatch decided to pull this out on us. Don't worry about that right now, you have to deal with BLINKs. Many are furious. And your children, stay strong for them Unnie."
Jisoo couldn't help it. After a slight pause, a rush of anger emitted out of her as she ranted out furiously. "I can't believe it right now. Dispatch has absolutely no business in Seokjin and I's relationship. Everything was going good, why are they over here exposing a couple who have so much to lose? And BLINKs, they're not true BLINKs if they can't support my relationship. Whether they like it or not, I'm Kim Jisoo and I have a family with Seokjin. It's my relationship, not their's. Why are they so mad? ARMYs can't accept it either. I'm not worthy of Jin, I know that just as well as they do. But it's still reality, and it's time they come to terms with it."
There was again a silence over the line, and Jennie, with a tone of admiration, spoke, "I know Unnie, and I agree, but the sad reality is that some people cannot accept that their idols also have a life."
Jisoo was quiet, when she suddenly heard a small sob from the bed. Turning her head, she spotted Jaewon with a quivering lip and watery gaze. Jinae seemed to not understand what was doing on.
Jisoo took in a deep breath and calmed her nerves for a moment.
"Okay. What am I supposed to do right now?"
"Come to BigHit. All of us are here. And you can bring Jaewon and Jinae. I don't think trusting them with someone right now is a good idea. Make sure to take precautions around the media, but since they now know, there's really no hiding anymore."
Jisoo nodded with a solemn expression before realizing Jennie couldn't see her.
"Sure. I'll head over there right now. Seems like it's going to be a long night."
Jennie agreed, and the two ended their phone call.
A sigh was emitted from Jisoo. What was she going to do now?
Noticing Jaewon was crying, she softly asked, "What's wrong?"
"Eomma... what happened?" her son cried, his arms reaching out to Jisoo.
The mom picked him up, rubbing his back soothingly.
"The public found out about your father, me, you, and your sister. But don't worry, we'll get through this, right?"
Jaewon looked at her innocently, his hold tightening.
"Why is it such a bad thing?"
Jisoo slowly shook her head. "I... don't know."
Snapping out of her reverie, she smiled at her son and kissed him on the forehead.
"C'mon, don't you want to see Appa's workplace?"
Jaewon immediately brightened, clapping his little hands animatedly.
"Yes!"
Jisoo smiled, but her head was full of worries that she didn't express for her children's sake.

In a flash, Jisoo dressed her children up, and now they were in a car, driven by a worker sent by Bang PD.
Jisoo gulped, thinking about the flashing cameras and rapid questions that would undoubtedly intimidate her children.
Jennie had informed her over text what to expect when approaching the BigHit building. Angered fans, a whole lot of paparazzi, and a group of staff ready to bring her and her children safely inside.
Nervous, Jisoo took Jaewon's hand and absentmindedly rubbed it in a comforting way, staring out the window as the driver rode through the night.
She wondered whether Seokjin was furious.
Jisoo knew he would never do anything reckless such as divorcing her over something like this without at least trying, but the fear still provoked her.
"Ma'am? We're here."
The driver's sharp voice cut her out of her thoughts. Jisoo glanced at him, realizing he was right and they had arrived in front of the building.
The building was surrounded by people. She could spot some casual flashes randomly through the crowd, guessing that those were the cameras.
She placed sleeping Jinae on her hip and prepared to walk Jaewon out. Jisoo's eyes followed the driver, who got out and opened the door for her, attracting the attention of a couple of distracted people.
Jisoo got out, her eyes flashing around nervously. She patiently walked Jaewon out of the car, her son jumping off the edge of the car in excitement and oblivion.
Jisoo could see, through the night, the silhouettes almost raced towards her, immediately surrounded her.
She felt a flick, a shove, and a flash before the staff quickly went to her side, pushing the people off of her and escorting her inside the building.
Jisoo let out a relieved sigh when they had reached the building. The biggest threat was now out of the way.
Jaewon seemed terrified and hid his face in his mother's arm, muttering something about how Jinae was very lucky to be sleeping. Jisoo silently agreed but patted him on the head with a kiss, before starting their way to the office Seokjin was in.
Their steps resounded lightly as they walked through the relatively quiet halls, and once they reached the door of the office they were looked for, Jisoo knocked hesitantly on the door.
"Come in."
Jisoo heard her husband's voice and knew she got the correct room. Jaewon seemed to recognize his father's voice as well and was thrilled at the fact that he would get to talk to him.
Jisoo turned the knob and opened it slowly, but Jaewon had lost his patience and swung the door open himself, running into the room. Jisoo winced when she heard a thump, recognizing the noise of Jaewon crashing into Seokjin.
Groaning, Jisoo followed into the room with Jinae on her hip, analyzing her surroundings once she entered.
It was white and huge, seats scattered around a long, oval table that seemed to be used for meetings with big attendance. The corners were decorated with plants and the air smelled of the store air conditioning, if you know what I mean.
Jisoo also scanned the people. Seokjin was there, holding his son, while telling him with a soft smile everything was going to be okay. The rest of BTS watched on with a smile, looking exhausted. Jungkook was plopped on a couch with his arms around Lisa, who was sleeping with her head on his chest. Jimin, Yoongi, and Taehyung seemed to be talking, taking occasional glances towards their hyung. Jennie and Rosé were also talking, both of them wearing weary smiles as they chatted, their lips moved animatedly. Namjoon and Hoseok were nowhere to be found, slightly confusing Jisoo.
Jisoo's voice broke the environment. "... Hey?"
Jin's eyes widened, realizing that Jisoo was standing in front of him. He gently grabbed Jisoo's arm and pulled her beside her, making her collide with Seokjin.
"Ouch," Jisoo playfully grumbled, rubbing her head.
Seokjin chuckled, his eyes brightening for a moment before turning concerned, his gaze detecting any injuries.
"Are you okay? Did they hurt you? I'm sorry—"
Jisoo stopped him, surprised. "I'm fine actually! Just a little overwhelmed," she sighed. "And why are you sorry? It's not your fault, it's mine, you know."
Jin looked irritated and opened his mouth to speak, but Jimin interrupted him.
"It's neither of your faults. Now Noona, since you have arrived, we have a small discussion to pertain to."
Jisoo's features relaxed a bit, nodding, hugging her daughter closer to her.
♛
"Okay, so let me get this straight. You're telling me that since the public have already found out about Seokjin and I, you want me to admit it on some post or something? Are you crazy?!"
Namjoon, who had arrived with Hoseok moments prior to explain the plan, leaned back in his chair, looking at her breezily and amused. "Yes, I'm serious. They took pictures of you guys together and with your children. I don't know about you, but that is suspicious. Plus, even if we made an excuse and said that they're your nieces, Dispatch has pictures of both of you kissing. I don't know about you, but that's not what friends are for."
Jisoo choked on air, coughing as she turned red. It may have been years since they both had gotten together, but she was still shy, unlike Jin who had grew somewhat more confident.
"Okay, fine fine," Jisoo said, rolling her eyes as she made a reach for her phone. Bang PD and YG, their bosses, had already approved of the plan, finding nothing better to do than to just admit it.
Once Jisoo had reached for her phone, Jin pulled their chairs together so he could pull his arm around her waist. He smiled softly to his wife, who had peered over her shoulder to spot him.
Jisoo returned to the phone at hand.
"You can do it," Jin whispered encouragingly to her.
Jisoo hesitated for a moment, before typing something out.
'Hi BLINKs!!! 🥰💕 I hope you are having a good day 💖💖 I'm sorry for disappointing all of you. I'm sorry I didn't tell any of you the truth. I hope you all can forgive and be happy for me. I love you all!!! 💕💖💗'
"It's... kind of short and vague," Jisoo said as the rest of the people in the room examined it. "But it's all I can conjure at the moment."
Their CEOs nodded. "It's fine, Jisoo," Bang PD reassured. "Give us a moment to release a statement of your marriage, and once we do, we will give both you and Jin the heads up to post your messages."
Jin, who had already pre-wrote his apology, looked at Jisoo and gazed at her lovingly yet anxiously. Jisoo knew that he was just as nervous as her, but was ready to sacrifice their careers for their marriage.
Once the couple had gotten conformation, they clicked on the post button, setting off notifications from all of over the world.
Seokjin looked at Jisoo with a soft smile, grabbing her hand and pressing a kiss to it. "Don't worry too much, Chu-yah. We're going to be fine, I promise."
