It's funny on how Jack could casually kiss me in the middle of my words. I never imagined my life would be as sweet as it is right now ― to be the center of attention of a boy, two in fact. I've also never been so confused in my life ever.

There was Robin― the guy who was with me since Day One. He's seen every part of my personality, and knows me from inside out. He was the bestest friend that I could ever have, and I can't imagine my whole life without him. He was a mandatory person in my day, and I love how that is. However, I never imagined that my best friend could also be my lover. Sure, it was a tad awkward with him, but he did show me one important thing: it's possible.

Meanwhile, there was Jack― the guy I've been trying to memorize for so long. I was there from the very first moment he uploaded that video. I laugh as I recall how long his hair was back then, with graying highlights of hair on his fringe. I fell for what I saw in him, and I fell for what I believed he was― or at least what the TV and the Internet says he is. I long to know him more, since there's always something new that I've never stalked before that I learn every day. I thought it was silly to actually think that we'd meet, but he did show me that same thing: we're possible.

"Are you all fine, angel?" Jack snapped me out of my deep thoughts. "You seem floatsy on the head today."

"Is that even a word?" I asked with a laugh.

He chuckled ― his blue eyes glistening under the setting sun, "Well, it is now. I like making up words."

"You are floatsy yourself, too," I remarked as we reached the roller rink.

Glee Glides was owned by my mother's step sister, Aunt Glee. I don't hear from her too much, in reality, except for a few days when the family gets all together to celebrate some event. The last time I've seen her was during my mum's death anniversary. She was always supportive of Anna, Vera Lynn, and I ― even though we rarely see her. Probably because Mum wanted her to, or she's just really sweet like that.

Basically, the whole place was like a washed-out 80's diner― complete with the neon lights and comic book feeling. Half a roller rink, half a bowling alley... except the alley's kind of down today, due to a few issues with the pins and the bowling balls being unfit for decent games. Oh, did I mention that there's also a claw machine there, too?

"This place looks awesome!" Jack exclaimed as we entered the sliding doors of the place. We were greeted by Aunt Glee, standing over at the cashier and trying to assist a customer.

She hugged me quick, and placed a kiss on both of my cheeks, "Elsa, darlin'. I haven't seen you for a while. Who's this you brought 'ere today, sugar?"

"Oh, this is Jack, Aunt Glee," I motioned Jack forward, and he gave her a warm smile.

"Great to meet you, Miss Glee," he greeted her. "This is a wonderful place you have here."

"Aw, thank you, darlin'", Aunt Glee blushed a little. "Please, call me Glee. Any friend of Elsa is absolutely a friend of mine."

Jack moved over a bit to peer over the deep skating oval where a few skaters were out and about. Aunt Glee pulled me over to the side, with a bright smile on her face.

"Friend, huh?" she giggled like a teenager. Ah, nothing new with Aunt Glee.

I rolled my eyes, "I don't know! I'm confused."

"Eh, what about that best friend of yours? Robin, right?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

I shrugged, "Him, too."

We both looked over at Jack ― seemingly very amused at what he saw.

"He does seem familiar, though," she commented. Oh, no.

"He... He does. Doesn't he?" I smiled, trying to hide what I knew. I can't let this out of the public. I'm scared.

After a bit of a chit-chat, Aunt Glee gave us a free pass to the rink. Perks of being friends and relatives of everybody. Jack and I headed to the room, which I dubbed as the "skate pantry", since it was a room filled with rollerskates of different colors. Everyone is actually encouraged to choose their own pair from the shelves, and of course, everyone's expected to return them as well. But Aunt Glee has so much pairs that she never even notices when one is stolen.

I picked up a pale blue pair of skates― the same pair I always wear whenever I'm here. The only downside to this place was Aunt Glee wanted everyone to access every pair in the place, so she didn't allow me to reserve this pair for myself, so I hide it. I always hid it behind the Lisa Frank-inspired skates, since no one really picks up those skates.

Jack was lost into the skate pantry, and I saw him popping out of the corner― a pair of white skates on his hand saying, "This place is way too awesome for me to handle."

"My family is too cool, huh?" I said with a smile, sitting down to slide the skates to my feet. Hm, they seem smaller than they used to be.

"I can't believe you have this place, and rarely go here," he commented, also sitting down beside me to tie his skates up.

I shrugged. This place seemed really normal to me, and it should be for him, too― but why is he all too excited for this? It seemed like a pretty normal thing to do.

Maybe he's just being polite, and trying to really appreciate this silly simple thing that I've barely planned for us today.

"What are you waiting for, angel?" Jack pulled me up, causing me to outbalance myself― and he caught me before I fell. Actually, I did fall... but not in the physical way, though.

"Thanks," I said, as I could hear and feel myself profusely blush hard. He seemed to notice it as well, and he ran his free hand through his hair. Believe me, any fangirl would throw herself out on this boy right now― and I'm not.

Hand in hand, we skated towards the rink. Surprisingly, he's holding himself up quite nicely. I had a few slips, but he was quite a pro in this― like he's done this before so many times in his life.

Only around five to seven people were skating in the rink with us. They were either older adults, or little kids, which meant no teenager was going to barge into our perfect day.

Jack seemed free on the rink, as if he was limitless... as if he wasn't a puppet by his management. I knew that issue of him trying to be rebellious, but his manager didn't want him to be. I pitied him, since he could never be like me― free.

I was laughing all through the night as he attempted to do fancy spins, copying the professional skaters along our path. If I had a dollar every time he fell on his butt for tonight, I bet I could buy myself a helicopter.

"Angel!" He called me over, pulling my hand with a flirty smile I knew so well. "Wanna try a stunt with me?"

"No way! You can't make me, Jack Overland," I yelled at him, skating away as fast as I could.

He caught me from the back, hugging my waist as he whispered in my ear, "Shhh, you're going to blow my cover off."

I tilted my head, tickled by his gesture. He seemed to notice that too, and started shoving his nose against my ear― which was awkwardly sweet in a way. It'd be real weird for us to be doing this in public rink, for all eyes to see, and we're not even together. Good thing nobody noticed Jack, and that was almost a big barbell off my back just to remember that.

The night was just like that― magical, indescribable in so many levels. I never would want it to end, but I couldn't stop the night from changing. I would if I could. Jack was amazing, every smile, every eyebrow wiggle, every smirk... all recorded into my brain, and I would never forget this night. Every time he held my hand, every time he pulled me into his arms... They all seemed too good to be true.

And the mind blowing fact to me was― it was.

"This isn't exactly taking it slow, huh?" Jack chuckled, purposely holding my hand as we walked back to my house.

I nodded, "Mhm, this isn't the way to go."

"Well, I'm not allowed to rollerblade," he said. "So I'm definitely being rebellious."

"You're not?" I asked him. I could get him in so much trouble for this.

"It's cool. Don't worry, angel," he shrugged. "I love rollerblading. You're the first to actually get me back into my skating feet, so I thank you for that."

My smile was so wide, and I felt myself getting redder and redder. He seemed amused by it, looking down a little as I saw a bit of red tint in his cheeks, too. So cute.

Right in front of the house, he suddenly exclaimed, "Hey angel, I keep on forgetting. You should totally have my number right now."

"Right," I giggled. "You aren't asking for mine, so I didn't bother. Plus, the emails are our thing."

"Yeah, but still," he took a piece of paper from his faded jeans. "Emails can't bring me your beautiful voice, so here."

I took the piece of paper from his hands― cherishing it. This really isn't just fangirl goals.

I gave him also a piece of paper with my number in it, as I'm sure that I would never call him until he calls me.

"Thanks," I smiled, kissing him lightly on the cheek before heading inside. The house was most probably asleep by now.

He threw another one of his cancer-curing smiles as he said, "Will I see you again tomorrow, angel?"

Movie night. Shoot.

I don't want to disappoint him, but we can't have the night off... Robin and I are going to watch movies. That's what we always do.

"Let's see," I gave him a plasticized smile, trying to keep his hopes up. To see him down makes me feel immoral.

As I shut the door, my back slid down its side― still thinking of the wonderful day I had. Both guys made me laugh and smile all day, and all night. I'm sure as hell I'd be smiling in my sleep.

I just couldn't simply turn my head away as she walked back inside.

I admit, I finally do.

I'm a leaf, and I am falling for her.

I'm a nail, and she's a magnet. I'm attracted to her.

I'm the Earth, and she's the Sun. I revolve around her.

I no longer want to take it slow. With just a short span of days, she's already got me figured out. But for her, I'm willing to wait until she's ready to take it on with me.

Fingers jittery, I type down her phone number as I was lying on my bed back in the hotel. I felt like I needed to hear her voice one last time before heading to bed. That is, if I would ever sleep after this wondrous night.

"Hey, angel," I sang into my phone. "Do you know the reasons why we look up to the sky?"

"Enough!" she yelled― her giggles echoing into my brain. "I'm never going to stop singing that song."

"Gotta admit," I started. "It's pretty damn catchy."

"Yeah," she breathed out. "I better get to sleep. Anna might wake up."

"You should," I replied, although a tad sad to break up. "Good night, Elsa. I... "

"You what?" she asked.

"I... I better get some rest, too," I replied. Nope, that wasn't right.

She laughed a little before hanging up. There she goes.

That was enough, I guess. All I needed was a bit of her before I went to bed... and maybe a little Internet.

I got up, and took my phone to browse a bit, but my face falls down as I saw the banner headline on the news section:

Frostie's New Blondie: Who's the new chick?

No, this can't be real.

A/N: Because I love y'all, Cliffy Queen brings y'all another cliffy for your dear heartsies <3

Wait, do hearts even exist in this fandom? If they do, mine's already pulverized since 2014.

Also, this chapter has 2000+ words, since I wrote most of these on my birthday. I planned to release it on my birthday as well, but I figured that you guys would be happier with a longer update― so here it is.

Excuse me for even more Hey Angel fluff. Absolute fave song, can't even explain myself.

Please vote, and all <3 Comment down a six-word love story. Can be heartbreaking, or very fluffy, just make sure you're original (or at least post a source), and you just might pop up in the next chapter if I love it <3

xoxo,
Julienne

even when the night changes
it will never change me and you
