Four: You and Me

Four: You and Me

"So, what do you plan on doing on the last day of being a Junior?", Robin asked as we entered the school doors.

I cocked my head, "Good idea. What should we do?"

"Well, I have band practice later this afternoon, so I won't be joining any despicable schemes you would be planning.", he said.

"Really?", I gasped. "Can I come?"

"No.", he bluntly said.

I pouted.

He rolled his eyes and sighed, "Okay, okay. You can come."

I squealed in delight.

"I hate the fact that I can't resist you.", he said as he pierced his eyes into mine again.

I smirked, "Sorry for being too irresistable, dear."

Robin rolled his eyes again and looked down... "Yeah..."

I breathed in as we entered the school gym. The whole school was staying here, since all the teachers went out to compute grades and stuff... While they work, we party.

When we entered, the party was as wild as you could imagine. Seniors everywhere were all running around crazy, and the speakers blasted Uptown Funk into the room, filling my heart with heavy beats of vibration.

You can really tell who's who in this school.

Like over there in the bleachers, Rose, Cindy and Snow... The school's three divalicous spoiled brats clad in pink cashmere sweaters, drinking overly expensive Fuji water. They're just rolling there eyes at all the people who were partying in the gym. Not to mention, Rose was flirting with this freshmen, though.

Surrounding the dj's table were Alwin, Meri and Veen... Three of the party bears in the school... or maybe they're just taking over the music, but still. They were part of it.

And the people who absolutely don't give a crap? Oh, they're up there in the high bleachers, led by Raven and her apprentice Mavis. Up there they hold their spiritual vampire voodoo witch-amajig... I'm not saying that I don't like them, it's just they're so different from the entire school.

How about the desperate wannabes? They're down here partying with all their soul, trying so damn hard to impress people... led by Eilonwy and Alice. In other words, Rose's apprentices thingy.

And where do I fall? Well, Robin and I fall somewhere in the middle. The normal people, along with my other best friend Punzie (also a Jack Frost fan)

"I think I just wanna hang out in the field.", I said to Robin, half turning myself back to the exit and away from the wrecked crowd.

Robin grabs my hand, "Hey, are you okay?"

"I'm fine.", I tried to smile. "I just feel really bummed today, you know."

"Believe me,", he smiles. "Your emotions somehow get Bluetoothed to my nervous system."

I giggled, and we headed to the door.

"Elsa! Robin! Wait for meeee!", Rapunzel came in charging between us and buried herself between our shoulders.

"Punzie!", Robin says. "What time did you get here?"

"Like an hour ago...", she waves her hand. "While you two weren't here yet, I tried to party with Alice and Eilonwy, but seriously. All they ever do is talk about Rose, Cindy and Snow."

Punzie points to Eilonwy, "Even that shirt Eilonwy has is the same shirt Rose wore three days ago."

I raised an eyebrow at the purple beaded sweater Eilonwy was wearing.

Sometimes, I don't understand how high school works. There's the extremely rich and popular girls, who all ever do is spend money on shoes they already have like water. And I don't usually rant about this, since I'm the quite the quiet girl at the back, who only raises her hand during geometry class-- 'cause I love geometry!

Sure, I may not have all the bags and shoes in the world, and I may have the weirdest family of girls (and a dude), but I was really happy to have Robin and Rapunzel.

Mostly Robin. 'Cause he was always there for me, and Punzie was always off to other places. Her dad is a businessman who takes her to places during the weekend in their fancy schmancy helicopter. I once travelled with her to New York for a night, while Robin was in a camping trip.

You can say that little golden haired Rapunzel Fleur is a rich girl, well she actually is, but she doesn't go off rubbing it around other people's faces. She's a sweet humble girl, who all ever does is draw on almost every single notebook that she has.

"We're going outside.", Robin says to Rapunzel. "Wanna join us? This party is making Elsie sick."

"Sure!", Rapunzel smiles giddily. "Glad to see you both here, and for saving me from the 'wannabes'"

Out in the field, we lied down on the green grass and stared up into the clouds.

"Hey, Elsa", Rapunzel says. "Have you heard Jack's new single?"

"Who do you think I am?", I raise my voice a little. "I watched the video the second it was posted on YouTube!"

"Geez, you beat me again.", Rapunzel pouts. "I watched the video just this morning."

"Can we talk about anything except Jack Frost?", Robin interrupts the both of us.

Robin and I might agree on everything, all except my obsession with Jack Frost. He thinks it's stupid to have a deep crush on a guy I've never met in person, before. Moreover, a guy that is in the spotlight wherein he could fake everything that he does and feels.

Except, I know that Jack isn't like that.

I imagine him to be sweet, and perfect...

"Well, what should we talk about then?", Punzie says.

We looked up to the sky and pictured a whole world above us.

I tapped my pen on the coffee table. An hour has passed and I still have no idea about what I should reply to Elsa.

Elsa.

I caught sight once again of her faded floral letters, all twenty-seven of them.

It kinda bothered me on why was it all sent on the same day. The last one dates back a year and a half ago.

She must have made a mistake on sending this in, but if she didn't send it in, I wouldn't have to write something right now. And I wanted to know this girl, since she's stayed with me for so long.

I finally mustered the courage to write a note to the girl, and as I wrote and wrote, it became as long as a letter.

Dear Elsa,

I know it's pretty weird of me to send back a reply to you, and I'm not replying because you beg of it (well, partially) but really, I'm writing to you because I think you're a really wonderful person, and I would like to get to know you more.

I wanna thank you for staying with me for the past years, and for supporting my work. Even though I don't sing very well, (yes, I admit it) thank you for buying the EP.

Geez, I really don't know what to say right now, 'cause I really don't have anything to ask you. All I just want to say is that I really want us to connect and be friends, since you seem to be really nice, and I want you to know more about me as well.

Don't tell anyone else about this reply to you. My manager tells me to reply to some of the fanmails now, but I couldn't do that half-heartedly, but please do know that I only replied to you because I felt that you are special.

Twenty-seven letters over a year and a half seems pretty spectacular.

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you about how cute your pet cat, Pepper is. I saw the photo you attached to the latest one you sent me. I would like to tell you that I also have a pet, but he's a dog, though. His name is Hiccup... again, HTTYD reference, but he also hiccups a lot.

Hope you don't get too scared of me, and I hope you keep this as a secret from any other fan of mine. This is just for the two of us. You and me. Jack and Elsa.

Reply soon, and kindly do tell me if the dress is white and gold, or black and blue. I am really confused, 'cause all I see is periwinkle and bronze.

        From, Jack
